Foxy Bingo

Lol! You probably know my family then! See this photo proves a card ending in the 3 numbers they say don’t exist on their system made the transaction!

How would they even have that card number? Surely your card number has changed since you SE? What a strange case, I would go through the bank and get them to refund them and then if Foxy have a case they put forward what evidence they have that it was you. (If they have any)

Just remember it’s a crime to fraudulently claim unauthorised transactions and the bank won’t take kindly if they do IP checks ect and it comes back it was you.

Yeah, I'm trying to remember it all. Walk on up Miller Way and you have Mandeville Road where a couple of my mates then lived, the newer houses they built Crane Way? then up the very end Hanover Court the posh Old People's home. There used to be a red phone box by that shop and my pal (by this time my old man had bought a house where he still lives up off of Evans Close so this was many years after living near that shop) when he was 17 or 18 got absolutely wrecked on some kind of home brew and collapsed leaking from all orifices, so we put him in it and called an ambulance and buggered-off when we heard it coming. The daft git had to be taken to Hinchingbrooke for the night for observation.

Foxy asked the last 4 digits of my card when I phoned them to question the transactions and then said they didn’t have a card ending in that no on their system.

Would it be on the system if it was on a SE account I wonder?? Was that card registered before you were self excluded?

You really should just chargeback through the bank, if foxy are claiming they don’t see the transactions then if you chargeback the bank will most likely go to them and ask for proof that you made the transactions, if foxy dont have that then the bank will most likely rule in your favour.

Also, perhaps go back through your bank statements and see if you can find any payments you’ve made to them before.

Get on to live chat and show them the screen shots of the transactions you showed us with the card number if they persist that they dont have a card registered with them numbers get on to the Halifax and start the charge back procedures then report it to action fraud or report first and get a crime reference number then do the chargeback telling the Halifax you have reported it to action fraud ..

If you have a record of the conversation, just do the chargeback. They have said they have no record of the transactions, therefore they are unauthorised, the bank should refund immediately and if you need any further proof for them you have a print out of the conversation with Foxy.

Is that the last four digits of your current card? It’s possible they have old details on file and it the card is still “live” your bank will show it as the current card.

If the transactions are 100% not known to you, you do need to raise a fraud case with Halifax. They will refund you immediately though their fraud team may require you to get a crime reference number from the police.

Be sure however that it’s not someone known to you that has used your card without permission. I’ve seen that happen before, and some people don’t want to proceed if they risk getting a loved one in trouble.

3D Secure is not required on all transactions - it depends on the merchant.

I used to work for A Major UK Bank.

Transactions don't need to be from the card specifically, they find a way back to the originating bank account regardless assuming the account was still open. Sounds like transactions have taken a long time to appear here but they are legit. There is no way a casino would randomly charge these amounts after a 2 year period imo.
