I had written this so many Times before and a few months back was even in mails with someone at Fortunelounge who wrote me regarding my last post about it and promised me the calls will stop.

well 5 minutes ago I just get a call from Fortune Lounge by someone named John.

John said he called and wanted to know if I got an e-mail from them about one of there games to play.

Fortune Lounge cares nothing for our privacy. Every few weeks I go through this then they swear they took me off the call list and it will not happen again. But it does because they do not care and if this is a way for them to get you to spend money at there casino, That " do not call list" they swear your on gets thrown out ( as if they ever had one) I have no respect for Fortune Lounge this happens time and time again. And I would no longer spend money at a casino that continues to telemarket me then Lies to me time and time again that it will stop.

This has been an issue for a long time now. FL is notorious for not removing people from their mailing/calling lists after the player requests this.

FL VP, why dont you have a box to check when signing up at your casino as to whether or not a player wishes to get your non-stop spam and phone calls. This would rectify the issue of continually harrassing players who dont wish to be harrassed by your telemarketers.
Cheers

This has been a repeated complaint in the past, and I am amazed that FL don't seem to realise how badly they are shooting themselves in the foot with this nonsense.

There are PLENTY of people who (myself included) do not want an online casino calling them at home or work. The agravation I would suffer from my better half would be hell...A few weeks ago I got a call from fortune lounge at work, I thought it was a cold call and I informed the gentleman that call made at my place of business were unwelcome. The conversation was polite on both ends, and I harbor no ill will towards telemarketers, they are trying to earn a living too. I requested I be placed on a do not call list. However if the calls are placed outside the U.S. I don't know if that is enforceable...
Bad call on fortunelounge's part...you are going to lose more then you will gain by doing this to players!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

I would think by now Fortune Lounge would have replied to this and would make every effort to make sure this does not happen again. But it's clear they do not care!!

Yep, I think the FL group need to rethink this marketing plan. It's just not worth in the long run. To many chances of alienating players.

The thread has been up less than 24 hours. Cut 'em some slack; I'm sure they care.

Gee clj7221...give me a break. Your post was at 7:47 pm last night (our time). I work from 08:00 to 19:00 and I do not sit and watch forums all the time.

Now on to the issue. Outbound calls to players is a very sensitive issue and we are currently re-evaluating the process and the strategy. It is true that we had some problems with removing players from contact lists in the past but most of those have been resolved. Unfortunately issues around the call lists have not been resolved yet but we should have it sorted out in the very near future.

I have absolute empathy with the situation as I do not like to receive telemarketing calls either. Outbound calls are made in instances where we have sent promotions to players who need to opt in, player specific promotions, confirmation of cash-ins, purchasing assistance, etc. In most cases players do not mind receiving calls from us as they have benefitted from the call.

We need to get it right and ensure that players who do not wish to be called do not receive any calls and this will be a priority.

If people are sent promotions they need to opt in for can't you just leave them to decide and opt-in if they want to?

I hadn't played at any Fortune Lounge casino for a long time but decided to have a go with three welcome back bonuses I was offered. Opted in and did everything required & still haven't had the bonuses credited two days later despite the offers saying 12 hours. They did however give me a $2 neteller bonus which I had to ask them to reverse as I didn't want to have to wager an extra 220 just for $2! (nice trap, though)

Tried livechat but no-one responds (does it actually work at all?). Phoned up one casino and the person I talked to had to write out an e-mail to accounts while we talked but couldn't say when I'd get a response - surely the customer service people should also be able to credit bonuses instantly as seems to happen at most casinos?

All in all it doesn't really encourage you to deposit any money there!

Nope I will not " cut them any slack"

This has been going on for a year. They have no respect for there players and our request for privacy.

I can say the same to you.If you read my posts these past few months regarding this problem of you telemarketing me for the past year and took them and complaints from others seriously, we would not be back posting this again.

I have not played at your casinos for a very long time. I never even bother to take your bonus offers to play because I know if I did I would be back on your call list, only to find out that I was never off your list.

I play many Casinos. Golden Reef, Lucky Nugget, Riverbelle,AcesHigh, casino us and I have never had any telemarketing calls from them. Those casinos respect there players privacy. You on the other hand have no respect for players request over and over again to knock off the calls. It's bad enough you can't respect the laws of The united states regarding telemarketing calls but since your not in the U.S., you just dont care.If you did this in the U.S You would have a huge fine to pay. After a year of this problem you say you now created solutions? Thats what the last Fortune Lounge person told me a few months ago.

Sorry clj7221, if you feel that you need to start bashing FL again, take it elsewhere. If you think that operators, managers, and other administrative directors are hovering over these forums every minute of the day, you are wrong. If you think that you are part of the solution when you post whatever displeases you in public, you're also wrong. Wim has been extremely effective in addressing countless player issues, and to start bashing him here is unwarranted.

No respect for their players and their privacy? I think you are wrong there as well.

Ditto to that. I appreciate that cold calls are a pain in the backside but I'm sure they're not going out of their way to piss off the punters and have the matter in hand. On the up side, they pay fast, run regular weekly promos and CS is very good - intelligent and courteous. Personally, I'd accept the inconvenience of the odd telemarketing call cock-up in exchange.

That said: FL, please sort this out. It's clearly alienating people.

Bashing them brian?
I am simply stating the facts Please, if I have stated something that is not true then I would agree with you and say your right I am bashing them. I'm not here to fight with you or them or anyone else. But after almost a year of there telemarketing me and the mails with them of how it will stop and it does not, It is obvious they do not care about there players privacy.

Just to say that athough it was a struggle I received two of the three bonuses (the third should be on the way), and when eventually LiveChat worked the woman I talked to was very polite, helpful & apologetic.

I'd have no qualms considering Fortune Lounge among the most trustworthy and best run operations around except for the treatment of anyone who makes a mistake wagering bonuses.

Sheesh man, and you couldn't perform this very action the first time you became aware of the lady's situation?

We both know that removing telephone numbers from call lists takes all but a few secs, y'know, with technology and all. I used to be a telemarketer, so I know the protocols and systems that are used on the job. Your original reponse about fixing the problem in the "near future" was totally unacceptable, but I"m glad that you finally are pushing for action.

I mailed you the details. I hope these calls are stopped. I have done this already a few times when I would put a complaint here about your casino telemarketing me, someone would ask for the details and tell me it will stop but it doesn't. I truly hope it does this time.

I can't wait to see the outcome of THIS situation!!
GOOD LUCK....

Now they maybe double their spamming.
:D

And i know that their "unsubscribe" option not work well, even they ask e-mail address and account number.

FL, i think Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) is free domain.
Please buy that one.
Because if everything works smoothly in your group, why i see daily some complaints about your group. And from VPL, Jackpot Factory, Trident E Group, etc, few to none. :what:

This is not against "fortunelounge" member.
But Fortune Lounge casino group.
