After losing thousands of dollars at Fortune Lounge I tried one last time with two deposits of $25.00 each. The next day my checking account was debited for two charges of $2,500.00 each ($5,000.00) which emptied my bank account and left me overdrawn. No money for food, No money for gas, No nothing for 11 days. The funding company for Fortune Lounge is Owen ltd and all I received was a apology. Fortune Lounge eventually reversed the charges and after much haggling agreed to put $500.00 in my casino account. Without surprise the wheels would not pay anything and the $500.00 was gone in less than two hours. It sounds like manipulation to me. The warning is this....Never ever use a debit card or allow access to your bank account because I would not like to see this happen to anyone else. As for Fortune Lounge we have parted company...I have done nohing but lose there on all their casinos. If anyone knows a honest online casino...If there is such a thing I would like to know which one.....

Do yourself a favor and sign up for a neteller account. It will help protect against accidents like this. I've had no problems with them and have been using them for quite a while now. Withdrawls to my bank account show up in 2 business days like clockwork. You must register/login in order to see the link.

It looks like you should have withdrawn the $500 instead of playing it.
That is if they did not put any wager requirement or condition on that
$500. They really shouldn't have put any conditions on it because that
was a gesture of feeling sorry for withdrawing $2500 twice from you.
That was a massive, gigantic, crazy error on their part!
What were they thinking or were they wishful thinking $25.0 into $2500.0?

As 'free money' it would have come under the 10x wagering requirement in the T&C, so he most likely would have forfeited it if he tried to immediately withdraw it. I would have played it too though, hoping to build it up a bit more while reaching the w/r.

Hi Dirty Harry and welcome to the forum. How much time lapsed between what was supposed to have been the two $25.00 deposits and were your previous deposits with Fortune lounge in the $2,500.00 range or smaller?
    Have a good one.

From the outset I wish to make it clear that the overcharging of players by Owen Ltd was not a Fortune Lounge unique problem. Owen Ltd processed transactions for several other casinos as well and their players were also affected.

When we became aware of the issue, we immediately contacted our players that were affected (telephonically and via e-mail) and informed them of the over charging and what we were doing to rectify the problem. We also informed them that Owen Ltd was going to re-imburse those who could provide proof of bank charges related to the over charging. From our side we credited applicable accounts with generous comps as an apology for the situation and maintained severe pressure on Owen Ltd to refund accounts as quickly as possible. We dealt with this situation in the most urgent, sensitive and compassionate manner.

The charges were not reversed by us. They were reversed by Owen Ltd as it was THEIR mistake. Owen Ltd even went as far as to agree that the original purchases would not be deducted from accounts.

drtyharry mentions in his post (and in his private mail to me) that he has the impression that we manipulated the software in order to retrieve the comps we handed out during this situation. It is absolutely impossible and unthinkable for us to do so.

Since this incident we no longer use Owens Ltd as a processor. I suspect neither do the other affected casinos.

drtyharry questions our honesty in this matter ? It was an genuine error made by a PROCESSOR. We informed players of the issue, it was rectified immediately when it became known and players were compensated for bank charges, received generous apology comps and had their purchases refunded. After all of that we decided not to use Owen Ltd as processor any more. The process was transparent from the start.

We did absolutely everything we could in a disastrous situation.

There was no "haggling" of any kind, whatsoever. Not even an argument. The comps were voluntarily OFFERED by us as a sincere apology.

Good Job, FL group. Talking about good damage control.
If the same situation happened to me, I'd post a praise instead of a complaint.
As for the fairness of the software, noone will take his post seriousely because he didn't present any fact.

Are you looking for honest online casinos or an online casino with a negative house advantage?

    Sorry

Fortune Lounge is right and there was no haggling with them..I meant to refer to the haggling with Owen ltd when all they would offer was a apology. I guess i should not write these when i am upset. In all fairness I must praise Fortune Lounge for the quick response to the situation and for the bonuses they handed out while waiting for the refund. I received $1000.00 from fortune lounge and $172.00 in insufficient fund fee reversals. Four months ago I deposited $20.00 at Vegas Villa and six hours later had $2300.00 so they will pay. I will also praise them for the quick payouts when I do cash in. It is never more than three days to reach my bank. My apologies to Fortune Lounge for the mis understanding as it was Owen ltd I was aiming at.
