Wow, that is really cool. I used to live in the country and would always see big flocks of starlings when the sun started to go down. It was so great to sit and watch them for like 10 minutes.

We live in the city, but we're only a couple of blocks from the train yard - the birdies are over there all the time - I'm assuming it's because some of the trains are transporting grain? Anyhow there are sometimes these huge flocks of sparrows, and they dance around kinda cool too, but nothing like these.

I watched it imagining some bird in the back yelling out "You call this a V?? Who the Christ is leading this flock?!"

I was going to upload the image, but I didn't know the rights on the image, so here is a link to a cool pic of a flock making some interesting shapes. You must register/login in order to see the link.

You can make a V with two ducks but they fly into each about 4 seconds after they take off.

I was expecting Lord Valdemort's face appearing in the midst of the swarm.

Nice video - could have done without the jazzy trumpet though.

Trumpets? Oooh. I had the sound off. I'm gonna watch it again. First I'm going to make some tea.

If you read "I wish I could see this flocking live" fast enough it changes the entire sentence.
