Even though Ubaldo Jimenez walked 6 batters and needed an amazing play by his center fielder he managed to no-hit the Atlanta Braves 4-0.

No other pitcher in the Rockies’ 18-year history has thrown a no-hitter.

No hitters have been thrown very few and far between in baseball history, period

I know sod-all about baseball, but when i was looking up what a "no hitter" was on wiki, I found this:

264 have been thrown in Major League Baseball history since 1875

And talk about luck...

On April 23, 1964, Ken Johnson of the Houston Colt .45s became the only pitcher to lose a complete game no-hitter in nine innings when he was beaten 1-0 by Cincinnati.
:D

Every time I see this subject heading in the "New Posts" listing I read it as "First No-Hitler Thrown In Colorado Rockies History" and start to ask myself "what the heck is a 'No-Hitler Throw'?".

You may properly conclude from this that I'm not much of a **what sport are we talking about???** fan.
