Fair Blackjack anywhere?

I was wondering if there is anyplace fair to play some blackjack. Some observations:

I played around 200 hands at a micro gaming casino today. (fake money) and I lost hundreds of dollars. I was looking at the stats page in the game and if I am reading it right the dealer had 20/21/BJ 36 percent of the time.

At one time dealer pulled 4 BJ's in a row. I busted on 12 10 times in a row pulling a 10. (Not saying I had a 12 10 times in a row, just when I did and hit on it I busted out). At one point the dealer had 7 cards pulled including 4 aces to tie my hand at 20. Multiple other times he had 5 and 6 cards without busting.

I doubled down on 11 7 times and got 3 aces 2 twos and a 8 and a 10.


Playtech - very streaky. I have won some and lost some. Sometimes I can hit on an 17 and pull a 4 or something like I can do no wrongs. Other times it seems like the dealer can get nothing less than 21/BJ and I lose everything I made quick.

Sands of the carribean - seems the fairest. Along with intercasino. I can actually hit on a 12 and not gonna know its a 10 or not. Thing is I dont really like how slow it is or many of their other games.

RTG - Another one that can pull 21's out their butts on a whim it seems. I have also seen this place pulling 6 cards without busting and ending up with a 21. I have sometimes won here, but next day I lose every penny I made and then some. Also my starting hands are very many times a 15 or 16 or something and if I pull I bust and if I dont the dealer wins with a 17 or something.

Lasseters - Seemed kind of fair but played their flash blackjack and got my clock cleaned again. Seems pretty streaky though too, lose a bunch, win quite a few, lose a bunch more.

I am new to online casinos and have been playing all different versions with the free money to see wich ones I can win a little at and am really getting tired of this. Imagine if it was real money.


Any thoughts or ideas on where to play would be appreciated. Am I just having bad luck or do these casinos seem rigged to you guys too?

Well, I can't win at Playtech casinos to save my hussilicious little life, but I clean UP at RTG and MG casinos like you wouldn't believe. Sure, I've lost at a few of them, but for the most part I win like crazy.

And I know they have a questionable reputation, but I adore iGlobal casinos too. PlanetLuck is one of my faves.

I don't think you were ripped off per se, but I do think most of the software is streaky as all hell and you kind of have to get a feel for the streaks and play them up.

And hell, sometimes you just can't win, no matter what you do That's why it's called gambling

Thank you for your reply. I am not really getting ripped off since it is fake money on all of them but just seems like I cant win for losing.

I have seen RTG deals a good game of BJ from quite a few in the posts here but maybe they just dont suit my play style or something. I was up 300 dollars the other day playing 10 buck hands at inetbet and next day lost it all plus some in about an hour.

I try and follow the basic stratejies on wizard of odds but doesnt help holding on a 17 with a dealer showing a 6 or something and he turns over his card and has a 4 and then pulls a 10. Sigh.

Try some of the other bj variants at MG viper casinos. I find the standard (european I believe they call it) bj at MG casinos to be less than fair, however, I've had good luck at some of their other new variants like Vegas Strip.

I speak only from my own personal experiences. While there may not exist any exploitable streaks in a statistical sense when I'm playing and winning 5, 10, 15 hands in a row, you bet your sweet, holier-than-thou ass that I'm going to up my bet. Talk to my well-padded checking account about the 'nonsense' of playing up streaks. It speaks to the contrary.

Tell me, caruso, how's the view from your Grand Pedestal of Superiority and General Assholishness? From other posts of yours that I've read you sure do seem to like it up there

It's easy for posters to contradict even the most blatantly agreeable comments made on this forum with rude and arrogant remarks, well nobody really has a clue who you are do they? Besides it's far more difficult to be witty and courteous so I guess why bother. I for one have incurred big losses on MG software, tend to favour crypto and boss personally. MG throws those hands and the invincible dealer at me all the time so comes as no shock to hear those remarks. I go on my gut instincs with streaks, lose a load of hands at low stakes, start winning, up the stakes etc. all part of the fun. Isn't luck the really big factor here? Managed to fill my pockets quite a bit overall using the old streak hunch too.

The streak discussion tends to come up about every 6 months (I think I kicked off the last one) and always draws strong opinion from both sides. I believe in streaks, and also have benefitted from them, but understand that they are statistical anomalies, but they sure are fun when they occur!

Thanks Jpm, I tried them and they do seem very fair compared to others I have played. Also Omni casino gets a thumbs up too. From what I have played on them they too have a fair game that you can hit on a 12 and not get 10's every time

Also like I said before Intercasino and Sands of the Carribean play well. I think those 2 and Omni use the same software?

I dont mind losing a game of chance fairly but just getting cleaned out by constant dealer 21/20's isnt much fun.

Yeah, I know what you mean pooter, seeing the dealer pull those miraculous hands when you double down on 11 and pull a 2 is just too much after the 10th or 20th time it happens! Glad you like global player, they have a monthly bj tourney you might want to try. It will be coming up at the end of the month.

Omni, sands, intercasino, will hill, vipcasino, and a couple of others I can't remember all use the same software, Cryptologic.

I used to play before 5 years at gold key casino.
Back then you could actually see at the multiplayer tables all the cards and by counting I believe you could have a player edge.There was a certain point where the deck is resuffled.As I recall it was about 70% of the deck available and you could see how many cards left before the shuffle.I wish I had kept an image to show you

My gut instinct says not to play bj at any Playtech or MG site, unless the bonus is truly worthwhile.

I recently played 19 sessions totaling 17452 hands at a well known Playtech, and my stats tell me I'm not getting a fair deal on the double downs. Either that or I'm just extremely unlucky.

How many times can a coin land on heads instead of tails before you get extremely suspicious that the coin may be biased.

I agree with all of these comments about Microgaming BJ. It just "feels" very unnatural both when you win and lose.

I'm new to online casinos (I started playing about two months ago) but I have played quite a bit of BJ in land-based casinos over the years, and the way the dealers hands develop in MG casinos does not seem right at all. I'm talking about the way that the dealer will build up a crap hand from absolutely nothing to just barely beat you by 1. Whether it's 21 - 20, 20 - 19, 19 - 18, etc. And this can happen hand after hand after hand! I'm not talking every once in awhile.

Other times (very rarely), I'll go on absolutely insane winning streaks. We're talking like 20 - 30 hands in a row, multiple BJs, every hand is all 19's and 20's. I feel like it's a slot machine that's starting to payout not a randomly shuffled deck of cards.

On the other hand, I absolutely love Cryptologic casinos. To me, the BJ "feels" real. When I lose, it always happens just as it does with real cards and when I win it's the same thing. I've found that I always go back to Intercasino for exactly this reason. And it's not just BJ, all of the Crypto games seem more "real" and fair to me. Maybe it's just my imagination but my pocketbook tells me otherwise!

If there are any other casinos that run Crypto that are basically reputable but not on CasinoMeister's list please let me know, I'd love to check them out!

I don't think there are any cryptos that are not reputable. It seems like they run a fairly tight ship there. And you're right, their games do seem to feel much more realistic than mg. I love their Let it Ride game and the 3 card poker is good too.

Off the top of my head, I can think of Intercasino, Sands of the Caribbean, William Hill, Omni Casino, 3 diamonds, one on one, 49er casino. Those are all crypto aka wagerlogic.

Micro Gaming casino's are tough. How many times does the dealer have a 10 showing? Iv'e done a little research and with micro Gaming it is incredible!!!! I'm not sure about the random number generator their???? I have also messed around with play money and real money at Micro Gaming, Real time gaming, Play Tech, and Boss media. I find Boss Media to be the fairest. RTG is very streaky. You can lose 10 in a row and win 10 in a row. It all depends. I do like the quickness their though. Play Tech seems ok. Not many streaks. A few back to back wins and the rare 5 or 6 in a row. Microgaming I trust the least as far as fairness. Iv'e see to many hands were I have a 20 and he pulls the " famous 5 card 21." When it comes to payment Micro gaming is great. Along with play tech and Boss Media. However RTG that's a whole different story!!!!!!
