Exclusive Casinomeister Offer at Canbet. Anybody tried it?

First of all, it is not a bonus complaint, just may be a small misunderstanding issue on my part, so I am posting it in this section. I was upset, bored, everything at the same time, so in other words - pretty vulnerable today ... so I decided to try a completely new casino.

I noticed a banner ad on the right that Canbet casino runs an exclusive promotion for Casinomeister's members which is 300% match bonus on first deposit. It is here - Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

There is minimum deposit of 30 euros, but no maximum mentioned. So I understood it like - if I deposit 100 euros, I still get 300% match. I asked Live Help before making a deposit, and got assured that it is right.

So I deposited 100 euros, and received 90 euros bonus. Does it seem correct to you? Anybody else went for this offer and can share his experience? Thanks in advance.

VERY badly written terms and conditions. This is not a matter of a min or max deposit amount, it is a promotion with an EXACT deposit amount of 25 or 30. Any deposit BELOW gets only the standard 100% bonus, and any ABOVE receives only the 150% of the specified "minimum".

The word "minimum" has been misused, as it implies that depositing more will still qualify, but obviously all such offers have a maximum, and there is simply no information as to what that maximum might be. The maximum is, in fact, the same as the minimum. If you deposit MORE than the amount of the bonus, you actually get a poorer deal than even the standard 100%.

This is not the first time a Casinomeister special has not performed as expected with Canbet, and "teething trouble" is less acceptable than it was back in January, when they were new to Microgaming.

I have had nothing but troubles with this place, they are so disorganized and slow it is pathetic.

1) Yeah, I had a premonition that I must be getting something not quite right there... so I asked Live Help what will I receiveif I deposit, let's say, 300$. I was told: "deposit 300$, get 900$"... The rep either made mistake, or had no clue :confused:

2) And the second, highlighted, point also struck me as somewhat weird. What is the meaning of 'exclusive' promotion if 'non-exclusive' deal is better?

May be it is just a wrong day for me... I feel so vulnerable... sorry guys.

If you have a transcript of your chat you may be able to withdraw 70e and keep the 30e+90e in your account if you ask.
It would seem only reasonable that they would do this for you as you deposited in good faith on wrong information supplied by them.

I am not sure what you mean when you say you feel vulnerable, I hope everything is alright.

The support is slow but reasonable. I would agree with Rusty that you could try and ask support whether you can withdraw the $70 and play with the remaining deposit+bonus only.

Thanks for your post and advise. It is not too late, because I decided not to touch my account until it is sorted out, one way or another. I sent email to Support, and PM'd to Canbet rep here in Casinomeister.... hope to hear from any of them soon.

Last month i took the same offer downloading from here and opened account and i got the same wording 300% match bonus. Live chat says to me you will get what was said. So i send off docs go back in and i chat with them again i said i didnt even get the 100% match. Was told they have no control over what was given thats support sorts this out themself and they ended chat. I played it deleted casino and that was it for me. good luck with the 300%

Did they only give you the 100%? If so and you didnt cash out with any winnings, I think they should give you back the outstanding 200%. PM the rep and let us know the outcome here.

Thanks chuchu but i deleted casino and ive come to terms that if i have prob before i even get started with depositing and playing. Then i now make it my last deposit. Im going to stick to my reg casinos at least the ones i know that if there is a win on my end ive been paid if there has been a prob they respond.
Im just finding in the long run it isnt worth getting upset about or chasing something that should of been given to you as stated in terms and conditions with a lot of these places. Let alone when you try and ask cs about any of what has been offered or stated they kinda make you feel your asking for a freebie or handout. I had made a post that for the past few weeks i was slowing down on deposits. Other nite when i was ready to make a deposit i went through each casino i have on my puter and i deleted over 12 of them just for these reasons alone. So for me here is credit where credit is due in no particular order just as i think of them

I have an update, and a very positive one in my case too!
Canbet representive responded to my PM (I was impressed both with speed of response and friendly way the response was worded), and my account was adjusted accordingly.

Canbet: I reviewed the wording of the offer and am happy to inform you that the balance of the 300% bonus (210) has now been credited to your account.
The wording of the offer is currently being updated and will reflect on the offer page in due course.
