Note: Sorry this is so long; I am just a bit overwhelmed.
Now I see why I dont take bonuses from casinos. I will admit I am not familiar with them at all, however this seems a bit excessive.
I joined a new casino last week and deposited $1200.00 and lost on VP JOB (this is my new favorite game. Had such a bad run with BJ for the last month, so thought I try something new and I am loving VP). The next day I received a bonus for $120 and thought what the heck I will give it a try. I read (not good enough) the T&C of the bonus. It stated I had to wager 15 times the amount. I thought not so bad, 15 X 120 is $1800.00.
I continued to play and had my (their) money up to $1700.00 and had met the WR, so I did a cash-in.
Received an e-mail the next day stating I did not meet the WR. This is part of the e-mail below.
To be entitled to cash out the promotional bonus, you are required to wager at least 15 times the value of your promotional bonus received. In addition, wager generated on all Power Poker and Video Poker games contribute a third towards qualifying wager. (e.g. $600 wager on any Power Poker or Video Poker = $200 towards your fulfillment of the wager requirements)
So, what I figured out is this. I deposited $1200.00 and they gave me $120.00 bonus. I had to wager my deposit and the bonus, which equals when, times by 15 $19800.00. BUT, because I was playing VP only a third of my wager went to the WR. So. Actually I had to wager $59,800.00 to be able to do a cash-in.!!! After I received the above e-mail I played some more and lost count of my play and stopped at $1000.00 thinking I had to be close to WR. I called the casino and she told me I had to wager another $2500.00 or so. Which I think she meant that amount plus or times 3 (remember the third in VP) so I went ahead and played some more and just as I was reaching my WR I start losing my money. I could not win anything more then a pair or a few 2 pairs and lost it all.
It was a long run for the $120.00 I started with, I even hit a straight flush, but all of it was for nothing.
So, my question is: Because I never, ever before played with a bonus and as I said I am obviously not familiar with them IS this a bit excessive for a bonus payout.
Have to wager $59,400.00 from a $120.00 bonus to cash-in?
I believe I am going to e-mail this casino and ask them not to send me any more bonuses. If they cant comply for some reason I will have to take them off my list.
I am really not trying to complain, because it was free money, but how and the heck can anyone ever cash out, it seems almost impossible.
Thanks, Sandie
