Popular online gambling processor eWalletXpress has been shut down by US authorities for illegal activity. eWalletXpress which is part of the Navaho network started out as a processor for internet porn sites but quickly grew once they began accepting gambling transactions. Despite originally being headquartered in the US. eWalletXpress moved it's operations to Canada where they operated for a couple of years without much of a hassle. That all changed when they got served with a warrant to freeze their funds.
eWalletXpress sent out an email to it's merchants this morning which read, “We regret to inform you that we are no longer able to continue service at this time due to a federal warrant issued to seize our funds…..”
This leaves a huge hole in an online gambling industry that is still feeling the affects of losing other US processors like Neteller and Paypal. No Online Poker Sites or online casinos are currently offering eWalletXpress as an option.
As of this writing there is no answer for the question on everyone's mind, "What will happen to my money". We hope that like Neteller funds will be delivered to their owners, but we can't say for sure. We'll stay on top of this story as it develops and will do our best to provide you with the answers you need.
I have no idea if the above is true as the chats with EWX that members here have been posting recently are very similar ("tech. difficulties" et al) to the EWX chats that were posted here around a year ago when EWX was basically down for a week or two but lived to see another day.
That said, per the quote above merchants should be able to confirm the statements bolded in blue. I realize there have already been a couple of posts by forum members that merchants are not currently offering EWX as a deposit or withdrawal option. Merchants should be able to tell one honestly why but then again most merchants may be reluctant to communicate honestly due to that UIGEA thing.
Another link (not as specific as above) with quote to follow as an EDIT !

Another Payment Processor Rumored to be Leaving the US
November 16, 2010 · Filed Under Online Gambling News
Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse for US online gamblers, more rumors of bad news starts running rampant through the online gaming community. First it was the highly popular online payment processor Paypal that dumped US players and skipped town, then the biggest online gambling payment processor Neteller left the US after being targeted by the Federal government and paying a hefty fine. Since then smaller payment processor here and there have been quietly leaving US players to fend for themselves in their online gaming banking options, and now another payment processor, eWalletXpress is rumored to be leaving the US also.
Last Friday when players from the US accessed their eWalletXpress accounts they were greeted to no banking options for deposits and a message saying they were having technical difficulties and would be back online soon. Well days have gone by and there is no movement, no answers to emails or phones giving any explanation of what to expect. The biggest question now on US gamblers mind is when these “technical difficulties” are fixed, who will be able to make deposits? The rest of the world, accept USA players, or “ALL” players? If EwalletXpress is leaving the US market is it because of fear from the federal government bring charges against them as they did with Neteller or is it because the US is getting ready to open up the borders of online gambling and all payment processors must be out of the US before this happens? So many rumors and no real answers. We will keep you abreast to any breaking news on this subject in the coming days.
