Sterlings one of the best divers out there but If you've played football you know when your running and someone clatters into you like that, you're going down, thanks for the screengrab, there's no injustice from last night.

The best team one, if they hadnt got the penalty they would have gone on to win the game anyway.
Italy will be a different proposition, similar in that they play the possession football and they rely on quick breaks. I can see it being a very tight game but for me England have so much strength on the bench and they can put on anyone of 4 players capable of changing the game in the latter stages of the match.
England to win 2-1 in Extra time, Sterling to score the winner to shut all the moaners up.

Agreed 10000% That image needs to be shared as much as possible mate I am first to say if somebody dives but the way people are calling us pengland as if we cheated the game Mostly Welsh and Scottish on Twitter so bitter and twisted. Everything last night was written in the stars.

England deserved to win, was a much better team second half, but that was never a penalty.

Penalties are given for this and for less in the Premiership each and every week. Its all part of the game, the Danish defenders gave the opportunity for the ref to award the penalty by nibbling at him and giving him a nudge.

I agree best team won, but i dont think the penalty was a good call by the ref.
I know diving is part of the game nowadays, but its not a good part of it.

Well said!
That was much less a free-kick than Sterling's penalty.

It wasn't England's best performance - but we scraped through.

As for Sunday - I fear the worst, but hope for the best. It will be exciting for sure - if I can bear to watch!
