Cancelling your withdrawal won't lead to any action, it isn't a 'work round' the reverse as casinos have always done this if theres a problem processing a withdrawal. There's nothing in the LCCP to prevent it, and they aren't doing it to everyone, so they will say it's justified and done according to their T&C's.

Yeah do you know the applicable date? Some casinos will say "ahh major IT project"" etc. That's what I couldn't see but I can ask them about it.

There wasn't a set date, but obviously, once it's been implemented then it forms part of the LCCP.
Typical UKGC, it would literally take 15 minutes to remove the reverse button from any site (just remove the image and code) but as they didn't set a timescale, certain casinos have taken months.

Apparently it's a "whole change to the front end of the site" according to one operator....still not implemented!

who sad I am complained? i send email who ukgc let casino use law gaps no point change thinks when casino still use it,to me reverse cancel withdraw is the same,ukgc remove revers withdraw for players safty they dont lose their money,and is not working,simple casinos can now change withdraw time from 72 hrs to 3 hrs,and all withdraws will get cancel,when ukgc make new rules they should make it right and not let casinos play with it as they wish

Now its more or less implemented apart from the die hards determined to screw the players right to the end.
I find it works great for me,makes the decision whether to withdraw a lot easier knowing its now final and if
you have made a little profit its in your pocket not the casinos.Funny how no one has complained about
scrapping reversals despite casinos saying many players wanted the facility.

I wonder if casinos are actually losing money through having to stop reversals, and with most, slashing their pending periods?

The customers now can't be tempted to reverse, lose and get pissed off enough to not deposit for a while at that particular casino.
How many players have reversed a withdrawal and lost, never to play at that particular casino again?
The casino may have made/saved x number of pounds, short-term.
But they'd probably have made more from that player, long-term

Customers now get their money quicker than before (much faster in some cases). So they are probably more inclined to redeposit sooner and more frequently and are probably happier and more loyal now.

Have the majority of casinos been getting it wrong all this time?
