Hi - anyone follow this? Last week was the industry awards do in London and Elk's Wild Toro won game of the year. Anyone played it? I preferred Bonanza myself.

ive never played that game nor have i seen any streamers or even winning screenshot of it for that matter.

they must not go with popularity of the slot and go with the way it looks or somethin

Wild Toro is a piss-awful slot. I will be doing my annual Casinomeister vote on Dec 1st for all the new slots between Dec 1 2016 and 30 Nov 2017. This year I believe I have covered all the major developers and every new release of note, so the list will be big.

Pfft, industry awards are always at odds with players' choices. It's just a backslapping event by the looks of it.....just shows the disparity between players and developers, no surprises there

Most would agree that Bonanza or DHV (if eligible) should really have won, even if they are the anal warts of Satan's arse

Stay tuned for the Meister Awards - the only awards that matter - scheduled for the 3rd week of January 2018.

Take no notice of EGR awards, it the vote of the user end that matters, US LOT! Mutual backslapping bullshit carries no weight with me. You'll get the Dunover unofficial CM 'Slot Of The Year 2017' thread in a few weeks...!

Yeah - very true. Doesn't seem much correlation between what the industry awards - it was voted on by operators who had nominations themselves by looks of things - and what punters enjoy. Says a lot!

Not sure I'll try that one.

I'll look forward to CM game of the year then :).

Elk? - Pssh and Tssh and lots of 'Tut's'

"Steve, what do you think on this one?"

"Well boss, I had this great idea to include in all our releases"

"Go on then son, enlighten us"

"Well how about we show a win count up which actually is only 1/5th of whats actually been won, really helps confuse and piss players off"

"Great idea sunshine, your promoted to team leader...."

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

its probably the best slot for making casinos money

just enough bonus paying rounds, low variance with a few spikes and med to low rtp

Exactly....it's an industry award-winning slot because it makes the industry money! Hence the accolade.

We can expect more of these types of games winning future acclaim when no one's really heard of them. This will get casinos queuing up to host these types of slots in favour of more player- friendly ones
