Looks like it was amazing over there, can I ask what camera you were using?
A Nikon D3200, a bit old now but so far it will have to do. My next big win will pay a new camera, or at least that's what I'm telling myself

thanks not as old as the 400D I use, but it still takes good photos so it does me I find the lens more important than the body in a lot of cases though. I love my 18-300
I'm looking for a smaller camera to carry round, think I'm going to get a Canon G7 x II just the zoom is putting me off, been deliberating it for over a month now haha.
They are all amazing but the one of the double doors is simply a competition winner.... surely there is a photo comp somewhere for you to enter it into....
I'm sure there is but until I start to believe in myself I will probably not do anything with my pictures. I still just give them away to everyone that wants any. I do have my own printer. So if there is anyone you like just say so and I'll send it. They are not allowed to be used in any kind of competition though
What??? You don’t believe in your self!!!
Well you should! The pictures you share on here are ALWAYS amazing. Surely you can begin to see how good they are? X
The lens and the knowledge, filters and photoshop is all very important. We have to use what we can, or we can afford to buy new stuff.
Try it. I've heard a lot of good things about that camera. You can always sell it and buy a new one later
Exactly, I have had no reason to buy a new DSLR, although the lens I like best cost more than a new body would, this is the one I use mainlyYou do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
Just won a G7x II on ebay for £405, almost new, less than 200 pictures took with it, with a small tripod and SD card, if I don't like it, I'll get my money back easily enough
As for your photos they are great, you shouldn't doubt yourself, and as long as you like them, then thats all that matters anyway, as you take them for you to see don't you I have some photos that are nowhere close to what an expert would call great, but I love them just because of what they captured rather than any quality or anything
So you just went and bought a new camera after your last post? Couldn't you have bought two?
I have 5 different lenses I use, some more than others. I've bought two of them last year instead of a new camera, and the printer, and a speedlight, filters, tripod. The list can be long. So this year it will be no new camera probably but a lot of good pictures
