e-transfer deposit warning

Anyone who uses this method to deposit needs to be very careful. The option is available for Canadians with direx NV and white hat gaming and some other casinos.

Yesterday I made a deposit to hello casino via this method. The funds were removed and I got the the receipt from hello casino processor named Gigadet the funds were taken and deposited.

No money has been added to the casino account and upon contacting the casino they say its not their fault and to go after my bank. After providing screenshots that it was taken from my bank and their processor took the money the casino is saying simply too bad not our problem. I even forwarded them all reference numbers related to the deposit from their processor and they still refuse to pay me.

This casino has a deposit guarantee with thepogg so I have filed complaints through them for the return of my money but I suggest everyone do not use this method as the casino claims ignorance even though it's their processor.

I have also had two other complaints from players that they stole their money too.

How much was the deposit?

How much was the deposit?

$400, $350 and $66

One was mine two were others. And the casinos are claiming for each case its not their problem so we are left trying to get the money ourselves. We have all the documents we need including reference and transactions numbers, its just trying to get gigadat INC to respond and refund.

Damn Billy, Hope you get it back :( I've never used the interac e-transfer, just the the regular interac payment. I'm guessing that your bank is one of the one's that won't allow interac payments?

Yea happened to a couple other canucks and they asked if I could post it here because I suppose there is a large Canadian presence here just to warn people.

The casino wouldnt help so we had to find and message gigadat, thepogg and another and got a response and refund back today. We didnt get any answer until I spoke with thepogg so I dont know if it was coincidence or him sending them a message got them on it. Either way refund has been made.

I’ve been trying to get my money back from Gigadat inc for the past week. They never answer emails and don’t have a telephone contact. I also sent $500 and $550 on the 12th&19th of February 2019. From RBC to video slots. After months of trying to track the money it turns out Gigadat took it. Unbelievable.
