Hi Dutch members! :D

If you could scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll see that Nederlands is a choice for language. If you could select this and give the forum a run-through, that would be great. Most of the forum specific function have been translated, but I am not sure how good. If you could list the discrepancies here in this thread with the correct translation, I'd really appreciate this. I can change the messed up words into something more appropriate. Thanks!

:p

To be honest i did a quick compare and must say google translate shines in comparison :D
I used the Chrome function "Translate this page" which did a surprising good job: in the blink of an eye, using the CM option in comparison, i saw many words that weren't applicable really.

If you'd like a list you could always offer me a job :lolup:

As I am 100% Dutch originally I surely want to help you out here a bit. :)
But it is late and kids and work await early in the morning so I will have a closer look tomorrow.

At first sight whatever was translated looks proper to me.
The Dutch wordings are fine.

However I see that not everything has been translated so some menu's and parts of the forum show a mix of Dutch and English.

Just a small example below:

In circles the translation has not been completed and it still is in the English language.
The rest is in good enough Dutch,people will defo understand it.

My Activity = Mijn Activiteit
Activity = Activiteit
Customize My Profile = Personaliseer mijn Profiel OR Stel mijn Profiel in.
All = Alle
Photo's = Foto's

Untitled.jpg

This just as a small example.

Will have a more thourough look first thing in the morning and if you need assistance with some translations let me know. :thumbsup:

Have to translate stuff into Dutch and German all the time for me Irish boss. ;)

Mark.

Hi Bryan,

Had another closer look at the forum this morning.
Again,the parts that are translated into Dutch are fine but there is still a lot of content that hasn't translated.
Is it just the forum skin that got translated once you had put in the Dutch plugin / extension?

As it seems menu buttons and all the forum related buttons and links are translated to Dutch and the free fields (Where you have put your own text) still come up in English. :) They haven't been translated at all. ^^

Yes, this is a translation of the original default template. As time progresses, I can add the other text that still needs to be translated. :D
