Yesterday decided to play Thai Flower on £2 per play at 92% never ever again.

£40 lost no wins whatsoever.

Another £40 lost with total win of £4. Two wins of £2.

After around £200 lost and turnover about £230 hit feature for £8 win. Followed by another £200 lost for total turnover of £460. Biggest base game win was £4.

Within 25 minutes was out of the door shocked how brutal it was. Putting this post up to show how bad it can be when the game is getting back to its RTP when behind.

To feel the rtp you have to play alot of spins.

Tbf Thai flower is a dreadful game.

Very little base and the feature can really cost, most of which are crap. Only way you can really get lucky on it, is to bash the gamble on the decent wins. Which of course if you run bad ruins you even more.

In other words, don’t bother.

Thai Flower is a terrible game but if you're going to play it you just have to go for it on the Thai Treasure £2 option but you'll be amazed by how many hundreds of pounds it can often take for that first elusive £5 or more win, then the wheel will kindly land on X1

Also 92% is believe it or not probably considered high for land based these days, 91% and 90% more likely! A handful of games have even sneakily gone down to 88%...and you wonder why arcades are dead

Its funny a thing land based casinos.

I can happily play at 88% RTP at 50p a spin in a casino cause I enjoy it WAY more than online and I do get some wins of course you notice money going faster than online if its 94/96% but I never ever play a slot below 94% online yet in a casino I have no issue as It does not bother me at all

You'll get this with any land based slot though, they all have lower RTPs don't they? If I stick a tenner in my online account it'll last for hours most of the time (I play low stakes in case you couldn't tell!) and i actually come away with some money quite a lot of the time. But every single time i've stuck a tenner in a land based machine and played for the lowest bet per spin possible it's wiped me out in about ten minutes.

Interesting what @ESCJAMIE said though - I went to AC the other year and blew a few hundred quid on the slots and games in Hard Rock and Resorts, and it felt totally different. The drinks being brought to you and the fact it was all tangible, I dunno, something about it made me not mind as much, not at all really. I had some decent wins in that time mind you, then gave em all back like an absolute pro.

I have got over 500rounds without freesspins feature on book of dead 94% edition :).. That was fun :). Then about fev spins over that i got the feature and 13xbet , not even first time. But gambling is what it is :).

Slots in casinos are generally medium variance. I know Genting still have their slots at 94% across all stakes (although selected Grovensors have recently reduced to 90%, not sure that is nationwide).
Online slots are getting on for being universally high to ultra high variance targeting the bonus buy audience which we cannot do in the UK. You’ll notice generally that bonus buys start at 100x stake which shows you how frequent they are likely to be during the game.
It wouldn’t be in the interest of the casino to have slots which played like many of the online variants. If nothing else it’d be a bit pointless as they can’t really pay over 2000x at max bet.
I find many casino slots boring as they are mostly Novomatic’s which are some of the most uninspiring slots going.

So with 40 quid as a bankroll, you played with 2 quid stake, pretty much 20 spins before you would bust, and then blame the 92% RTP of the casino or slot?

The main difference between online and offline slots is that offline you can win more money than online if you know what to expect from a particular slot machine and are able to determine when it goes cold. Another significant difference is that if you are playing your favourite game online and clearly see that it is completely dead, you will have no choice but to leave or keep killing your balance in hopes to get the bonus game. In a real casino, you can simply jump to another machine and try the same game, but an unrelated one to your previous play.

In UK's real casinos, most slots are from IGT or Novoline. The newest IGT slot terminals look like space shuttles with different flashy features and loud noises, but they are all designed with mugs in mind, just like Pragmatic and Nolimit City online slots. While there seems to be a lot going on, you won't notice much change in your balance.

Novomatic in my opinion are the best to play for any type of player, but all must know what they really want to achieve. For example, for a low roller that would be happy to cash out at least some £100 while playing at 0.5, i think, the best bet is to play Cash Connection games because their bonuses come pretty often. Minor and major jackpots no rarities too. But it's worth remembering that some Cash Connection games are better to play than others. If you're not sure which to play, simply hang around for a bit and look for what the majority of players do.

I find their new Cash Connection game

pretty decent. It can throw a cash bonus, a free spin bonus or both starting one after another.

Here are some screenshots from a couple of days ago.

This is also a new Novomatic game that many people are playing, but I can't remember its name.

While I was playing Lucky Lady, a random jackpot came in.

I think in UK's online casinos it's nearly impossible to get this combination online right now; a few years ago, I was getting it 1-2 times a month.

Yes. In terms of making money, i think a landbased can be quite good. In terms of taking the risk online is where you want to be.

Lets just say that online you can spunk way more money in a timespan then you can insert into a landbased machine.

TBH, when i play online i lose 7-9 times out of 10, and i'm not chasing those super big wins - all i would need is to multiply my deposit 1-3 times.

Advantage in landbased is, you can walk right out with cash, not having to wait 48 hours and even be tempted to continue to play.
