Yep it's ridiculous, you have to do extremely massive bets (30-50) to even make it barely +EV on certain deposit sizes. How does the UKGC allow casino rewards group to offer bonuses with a standard 200x wagering. With that level of wagering you're pretty much guaranteed to fail to complete it. So basically they're pretty much unwillable bonuses presumably designed to do nothing more than entice players to deposit. I appreciate all bonuses have that intent but at least with most bonuses it may be hard to complete wagering but you at least have a chance of doing so. Seems wrong to me to entice players in with an unwinnable bonus...yet I can't autospin...go figure.
Morning all,
Bit of a rant first thing in the morning but now officially done with the UK Online casino market.
I was having a loosing session last night on slots; deposited £100 initially which soon went, followed by a couple of other deposits. Then switched to to table games and increased my stakes (which is normal for me, I might add) and good old lightning blackjack ripped me a new one. Deposited another £1k (which is well within my limits) to go and play roulette. The second I had a winning spin, the following attached message popped up on my account, effectivley stopping me from playing because the casino wanted me to take a break. Tried to speak to live support and couldn't get through to anyone.
I am all for responsible gaming, but when I was loosing money the casino wasn't intereseted; as soon as I hit one number on roulette for £700 I was stopped from placing any more bets. I will give lottomart their dues in that I was able to withdraw what balance I had remaining, and it was in my account within about 5minutes.
@Mark_Lottomart appreciate what you bring to the forum and the team at your site are usually pretty decent, but this just doesn't sit well with me that its ok to lose, but it feels like as soon as you start to get out of a hole a restriction is placed on the account.
Landbased only for me from now on as there are no decent casinos left with that I can play online

A lot of gamblers think their luck runs in streaks, i can see how this would piss people off if they were on a winning session and the casino hits the time out switch on them
Man i used to grind through them deposit bonuses back in the day if they would of timed me out i would of quit way soonerIt’s not a case of thinking luck runs in streaks, it does.
This is the thing though they never seem to do it on a hot streak because they know when it ends you will give some back before you know the tide has turned….
Likewise in the same way they know a losing streak will come to an end and start to turn and that’s when the seem to use the time out, temporary break hammer.
Deposit bonuses are still very much bearable, although within the UK I won't deny they've been getting worse or drying up. Sometimes I contemplate moving back to Ireland as they are pretty open (although I saw rumblings about possible regulation). Plus they sell Brunch ice creams there.Man i used to grind through them deposit bonuses back in the day if they would of timed me out i would of quit way sooner
Luck deffo has to run in streaks for a cash out to beat the playthrough requirement
Back then though they used to hand out deposit bonuses like candy and they were actually beatable
That post has mentally scarred me for life…….Some things, you just can’t unsee. When they popped up I used to lower my jeans and beat my buttocks with a wooden spoon, while chastising myself for not having done the washing up yet. So they did work and make me realize what a naughty boy I was being.
