Didn't actually mean to be hostile and defensive. Sorry about that. I took it as a sarcasm and not a genuine question. Anyway. To answer your question, yes, that's basically what I do, as a side thingy. Have been doing this for a while through different channels (or no channels at all at the start, i.e. no active searches). Sometimes it works, sometimes not, but no actual loss.

Don't think you will sell many sites on here but good luck.

Way I look at is you have said you register a site name that is available then go and try and sell it. So why would anyone want to buy a new site with no history. If they wanted their own site they would just do what you do , think of a name and register it. Why pay someone else .

Tried registering and selling domain names years ago,all .com and what I thought were good names, zero response and let them
expire in the end,as has been stated, why buy a name when an hours work will get you one for next to nothing.
