DOJ visit to Absolute Poker offices - questions remain.

jetset if this last information is correct, it would seem unlikley that the marketing company was "shut down" because of this 'questioning' from the RCMP.
 
It sure looks that way, but I'm still concerned at the reticence being displayed here by the RCMP, and I have suggested to the spokesman that not being sufficiently forthcoming is encouraging speculation rather than being upfront and putting the issue to rest with some plain facts like:

What was the reason for the visit?

What was the name of the company?

Who was questioned and how long did it last?

What was said?

Having come this far, it's a pity the RCMP can't answer these fundamental questions once and for all. He's already said that there was no "prosecutorial presence" which suggests that charges have not been laid nor are these being contemplated.

But it's not just the silence of officialdom that is intriguing here - everyone else in this story has clammed up as well.
