Apparently not. Who remembers Bush Jr's speech regarding terrorist countries and those that harbor them?, I will not add any of my personal opinionated views to this matter, i'll let those who read this full article draw their own conclusions...............................

Why go to all this trouble of covert operations using under cover agents, surveillance, insider information, and every other technique used in the high end world of crime - and basically give those responsible a slap on the wrist. Any involvement in the world of drugs is intent to supply, from growing, distribution, safe housing, money laundering. I defy anyone to step into the dark world of class `A`drugs, get them self arrested with just over the amount of what is deemed for personal use on them, and see what the results are...........

1). An absolute minimum prison sentence of 5 years.

2). Seizure of property, belongings, anything that is deemed to have been bought from the proceeds of selling drugs.

3). Certain countries will impose the death penalty.

A break down of the punishment HSBC received is nothing more than a few months interest from their vast wealth, paid for by the stock holders and pension funds.

Absolutely changing nothing whatsoever for the perps who done this, as those responsible walk away with no criminal charges against them, due to being charged as an entity (HSBC), and not the individuals in charge of the operations.

America spends 53% of it's annual budget on the military, to which a high majority goes towards it's war on terror, here was an ample opportunity to recoup some of the huge losses these wars cost and put people behind bars whilst doing so, thus decreasing funding for these wars considerably, resulting in less deaths and less expenditure on their behalf.

The war against drugs and terrorism showing it's true colours once again, for those that actually believe in the true cause of both these wars.

Why wasn't those responsible for these crimes subjected to all the Patriot Act stands for, and whisked away to Guantanamo Bay like you or I would have been, regarding the link to terrorism and funding it?.

In perspective - A Swiss bank was recently forced to shut down business for the heinous crime of opening accounts for those, whose sole purpose was US tax evasion.

Cause we are not living in an equal & free society, just the illusion of one. Nobody is truly free. We live in a smoke & mirrors democracy. Your elections, our elections are always about a two horse race with no hope of any real change.

The reason banks get away with it is because we live in a capitalist system ruled by economics, those with the money have the power & most countries in the world today are in debt to banks bizarrely because of banks.

    Crazy world.

If I had enough money I would start my own bank under the principles of ethics & doing the right thing. I'd also invest in creating free energy and planting more trees to counteract global warming.

Money is power in this world, sadly most who have that power are selfish and misuse it. Humans have never really progressed beyond the me me me vibe.

The sad thing is, if a lot of these wealthy people used their wealth to do good and help the planet they would be happier individuals, being a Scrooge is a miserable existence.

Enough said, I don't know where all that came from, too much espresso I think :)
