Does Casinomeister website block certain IP-ranges?

Maybe an odd question, but I'm not able to visit the Casinomeister website under my own IP.

First I thought the website was down for a couple of days. This happened before, but it turns out I can't visit the site under my own IP which is very strange.

I'm using a VPN now to connect and the website is available for me now. Has anyone else ever experienced this problem?

Does my ISP perhaps block Casinomeister (Wouldn't know why though)?

Given that your profile states your location as "Holland" and knowing your governments stance on internet gambling, I would hazard a guess that ISP's are under instruction to block access to sites that offer, or promote the activity (unless they are officially licensed).

'Holland Casino' currently holds the monopoly, but it has been reported that the market is opening-up to competitors this year.

Unless you forgot to send the Casinomeister an xmas prezzie and he blocked you

I doubt that's the cause. Although the Dutch online gambling market still has to be regulated, everyone is still able to visit and play on any gambling site.

Played on Unibet, Redbet, Mr Green and 32Red all week and have no trouble visiting them. Same goes for big affiliate sites, no trouble visiting other forums except Casinomeister. :(

Hi,

It happens to us a few times a week where we can't access the site. We then switch to Hola and are able to access it just fine. The only problem is with Hola running, none of our business products work because of security systems picking up the change in IP address. It's a juggle between working and Casinomeister on these days :)

Have a good weekend,
Dieter

Indeed! Highly unlikely that Bryan has blocked your IP. If you are a mega-spammer or multi-account addict then you might get your IP blacklisted but AFAIK that kind of action is almost never taken against IPs outside of India and/or the Phillipines.

The only IPs blocked here are from India, China, Pakistan, Vietnam, and a few other dodgy places. PM me your IP address, and I'll double check.

Thanks for the tip, Dieter. I was using a VPN service to access the site yesterday but rather don't since I might forget setting it off and I don't want to get in trouble with any online casinos while playing. Problem is solved now though.

No spamming or multi-accounting here:p

I thought perhaps I was facing the consequences of a banned range by mistake. The problem is solved now though. Did some research on Google and turns out a simple reset of my router did the job:thumbsup:

I can visit the site during my casino play with no issues as before, without using a VPN.
