I like to be able to choose, so I suppose I would be 50/50. What gets on my nerves is when they get automatically applied and I havent confirmed I want to take it

Was also suprised to learn how many didn't take the bonus. That would make for an interesting opportunity to some smart operators.

Signup bonuses are awesome

I usually will take signup bonuses at MG casinos, normally just because it's often credited automatically. If it is, I don't bother asking to have it removed, I just play it. :)

Hi, I usually only play at Jackpot Factory Casino's ie. All Slots and VIP Lounge. But on occasion if am on a losing streak and unable to be granted any loyalty bonuses or spins from these casino's, (which seem to be freezing up latley, even though I have played there for 5 years). So I go on a hunt for the next casino that I would happly become a loyal member. So casinos that offer new signup offers, like No deposit bonuses, are first on my list to try. So far on these "Hunting days", the only casino I have found that I really like is Red Bet casino and I have deposited after bonus play was used.
Good poll, and interesting results.

I do take some of the deposit bonuses but I ask for them after my acc has hit 0 and make sure I hit 0 again before re-depositing...

Not often, myself I dislike all the red tape with bonuses and wagering requirements.
And to me, it seems I am more unlucky if I take a bonus.

I used to take them, but now I no longer do. If they are applied I request it to be removed.
I prefer to play with my funds and not additional bonuses.

Bonus for who

Bonus Play Through requirement seemingly drastically reduces your ability to collect on a win, which gives the Casino the Bonus. From what I understand about Bonuses, if I deposited $20, I may get another $20 free. I then have to gamble the equivalent of let's say 30x that amount which would be a minimum of $600. So let's say that I am playing the slots and within a few minutes of play I will $500. So now I want to collect. Sorry but I must continue to gamble that $500 win and at least another$100 on top of that before I can start to collect. It is hard enough to win without having to keep winning. In my opinion it is the the worst odds for the player to win money and the easiest way for the Casino to take your money if you play bonuses.

In such a case, are you sure that the Casino does not hold playthrough balance owing amounts on you? In other words, you spend all your bonus money and real money but you have still not completed the Play Through amounts. Now you deposit another $100 and win $500. You go to cash out and the Casino says no, that win is applied to the play through amounts you owe us from your previous bonus commitments. I would be highly surprised if this is not the case.

The only time I do take a bonus upon signup,

is when it is automatically credited to my account. I don't particularly like it when a casino gives me one automatically, since I think it is wrong. I don't like taking them since I would then be tied to all the crap associated with bonuses. Plus, it is such a pain to read the T&C, even more painful to read bonus T&C.

The best bonuses, and the only ones that i play. are the ones where you can withdraw winnings before you meet the WR. There's 1 site i know where they always let you withdraw and a couple others where you can withdraw as long as you havent touched the bonus part of your balance. Its a pretty sweet deal and you'll be happy you took it if you hit the monster early on

I will take a bonus if I am only depositing a small amount. But if I am depositing $100 or more then no bonus. If you cant hit with $100 or more than you aren't going to. Besides, if you do get lucky then you have no play through to worry about. I have won the most money when playing with no bonuses.

I wonder what happens when you take a big bonus like 200%, then hit some features on huge stakes and delay them untill after the wagering requirements  anyone ever tried that? i know its possible with netent software to save the spins

Off course the casino would void your winnings if they found out, but if not.. payday!

I have tried this before just out of curiosity. And Netent auto detects that bonus funds was used to trigger the feature, so anything you win is bonus money. :)

Don't know how the other software providers deal with this but i expect it is dealt with in a similar way.

How about using bonus money to fill up the bags in Robin Hood?

I haven't tried that, so i don't know. If you trigger the feature while using bonus money then it will be the same as with any other feature.

But if you just collect all but one bag and then come back with real money later you would imagine that it might work, since if it didn't then everyone who play the game while on a bonus, only to come back later with a straight deposit and get the feature would be bonus locked while not on a bonus.

I doubt that this is a big problem for the casinos though, if it were then i would expect to see it mentioned in the bonus T&C's.

I don't think that would be a very good idea at all.
In order to "take advantage" of that you would have to zero your balance first, which means you either do OK with the bonus and cash-out, or you lose everything.
Then the free-spins on Robin Hood could still take another couple of 100 real money spins to trigger (believe me - been there, got the T-Shirt) and after all that, the spins could be a load of crap, like they are 9 times out of 10 (got THAT T-shirt too!). IMHO you're more likely to end up worse-off after that, than better off.

But how about looking at a different NetEnt slot where you have to collect things...
(Can't remember what the devil the name of it is now ).

I dont understand why I would have to zero my balance. I could fill up the bags till they are almost full, then move on to other slots and have a shot with my bonus. If that doesnt work out you'd return to robin hood with real money later (i think the bags are saved for a year so no problems there)

But i agree free spins give a shitty prize most of the time so this probably wont affect your balance in a good way. And if you did hit big, you'd still have to cashout without the casino noticing

god damnit why dont WE get to cheat for once :D

always take a sign up bonus, as I like to see how far I can go , and the old saying goes,, if u go to the casino it's like throwing your money away , and if I win bonus , and I have won off of the sign up bonuses :)

My experience related to this.

I chose never. I never take bonuses since I don't like to having my money being locked into some wagering requirement. I'm known for kamikaze betting and would probably be bonus banned if I ever took them. :p

Thanks for that valuable opinion. In my case I have taken advantage to try out casinos and to make extra money.
I like to try with no deposit bonus and I don,t have any money to loose. Sometimes I have invested time, but not money.

I have a very important question for you, that I suppose a lot of not very experienced gamers have:

What are the most profitable games, based on your personal experience: Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Dice, Videogames or Slot Machines
and why?

I wish to everyone in this incredible website a very Happy New Year 2014 and GOOD LUCK,

I no longer play at MG or Netent but still play at PT and I always take a bonus. I won't take less than 100% and often times can easily get a bonus over 200% at casinos like Omni and Club Gold. I've had some of my best wins playing with a bonus because I tend to bet more.

The slots as long as you play the ones with a higher RTP. I've stopped playing slots from software's that I consistently lose on I find my wallet is allot healthier as a result.

I also like live Black Jack, I've tried online Black Jack but I think they find it really difficult to imitate a random pack of cards. I'm sure they return their RTP but I know what to expect when playing live Black Jack. Whenever I played online Black Jack it's just seemed way to streaky for my liking. I've had some awesome wins on live Black Jack.

We've seen that tried before, check out this thread; https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/susanjbo-vs-riverbelle.57127/

The gist of it is, they will know and it aint gonna work.

Say no to bonuses

i did at first if its a new sign up and they wouldn't allow me to try games for free funds id make a small deposit to claim.
other than that not a chance terms are ridiculous.
id always bring balance back to zero before depositing.
Bonuses are not for our benefit, its to ensure profit to the casino... nothing comes for free bonuses ensure that 50x over lol plus exclusions and headaches.
like you cant bet higher than 20%-30% of the bonus amount etc... fine print takes forever to decipher... best to stay away.

But that's just my opinion.. if you like to be bound by the terms go for it.. i'll take my chances on straight cash.

Thanks for the information...

Before 2006, I use Neteller to deposit to the accounts, but always after make a free trial with the no deposit bonus. Sometimes I won some money and
sometimes I loose some. But now is very difficult, due to Federal Regulations, to make any kind of deposit from Puerto Rico. I discovered at the end of 2013,
that Casinos that are not listed or accredited by a responsible group or organization like Casinomeister do not honor what they promise in their publicity ads.
