Actually this might have been a discussed about topic previously but I would like to know...

Do you actually gamble more when you are able to get your payout faster? Like for example, do you deposit and then redeposit or etc if you know you can get the payout in lightning speed like in the case of VideoSlots?

What do you guys do?

In my case, I think I would actually play less. This is because the money is safe in the eWallet that I use (namely Skrill and ecoPayz). Asking me to deposit more after I make a withdrawal would usually not work. It would usually just give me a longer cool-off period. However if the money is sitting "PENDING" on a casino site, then I would more likely "Reverse" the withdrawal and gamble more instead.

What about you guys? What are your opinions?

Voted yes but would have gone with a 'sometimes' option as its not that clear cut for me :)

I have a monthly budget, had times where the budget is low, had a win and withdrawn within a few hours and recycled back in again. Without instant withdrawals this is not possible so in that instant i have gambled more.

So sometimes yes, i have, but not always. I rarely reverse so when its pending or 1 - 3 bank days i might gamble less dependant on budget.

Do change your vote then... Have added the "Sometimes" option there.

At the moment, I gamble a lot less than a few years ago and for the faster way of getting my winnings, I always used PayPal.
Before I had countless reverse withdrawals and immediate deposits of the winnings into another online casino, which as a rule lead to guaranteed loses.

Now, I prefer if my winnings come in 2-3 days because It gives me an opportunity to chill my brain out and decide what to do with the money.

My vote is NO.

Yes and No. Likely going to cut VS out soon as although they have all the games they lower RTP and general play on the site has been shocking of late. Had one withdrawal recently which took 5 days when it used to take 10 mins and on an awful losing streak there.

Conversely I have a bet365 account which offers a good selection of games and have cashouts within a day, trustworthy and generally enjoyable.

So both are pretty fast, one was 10 mins withdrawal but I massively prefer the one that takes up to 24 hours.

Yes, sometimes, but that can be a conscious decision, rather than gambling more, its more like I swap casinos. Like yesterday, was going to withdraw £250 from Novibet and leave £100 to play with. Decided to withdraw £300 instead, leave £50 and use the other £50 at a different casino, knowing I would have the cashout in 30 minutes or so. So I didn't gamble more, but did make a deposit I wouldn't have. I'm usually ok when it comes to sticking to limits and stuff but can see why some might gamble more. Having said that I can see why some people might.

Fast paying casinos get my loyalty and my deposits.
Slow paying ones must offer something special to see my money.

Pending periods exist because they "work" , meaning the intention is for the player to reverse and lose the money and redeposit chasing the loses. And they do. I used to reverse a lot in my first 10+ years of gambling, but now I have much better control and I almost never reverse a cashout.

Since I don't reverse the only difference for me personaly is that because of my small budget I may lose a good offer or a comp waiting for the cashout.

Good point, I'm more inclined to play somewhere that you can lock withdrawals and know the money is coming even if it takes a few days to come.

Yep, definitely the case for me, especially if depositing & withdrawing through PayPal. LeoVegas are quick, normally 5 minutes and can then deposit somewhere else, if I feel like continuing, without having to bother my bank balance as money is available as PayPal balance. Suppose this is a bad thing as don't have to think twice about depositing somewhere, maybe I wouldn't play again if I had to bother my bank balance for a second time.

It's also a bonus for the punter as you're more willing to deposit and withdraw each day rather (do the casinos have fees to pay on this? Am I causing them an unnecessary burden?) than leaving the balance as it's more likely to get wasted.

I only play at Casinos where payout is fast.
Anywhere that enforces mandatory “pending” periods (like 48hrs etc) will not get my business, especially when said pending periods are extended due to bank holidays and such.

If I can deposit and play 24/7, I should be able to withdraw 24/7 - within the bounds of sensibility of course.
