I'd like to get some input on live games. Do you play them? If so, why? If not, why not?

Are there games that you haven't seen that you would like to see "live". Seen and quirky Vegas games that haven't made it online yet??

Speaking about live games, does anyone have any information about Casino Web Cam? I'm looking for a reputable live dealer casino which uses the CWC gaming platform.

I'd love to see live slots :) :D

What is a live dealer game?

Do you actually see the people and it's real time or do you mean like those BJ computer people when you go into a slots casino

That sounds kind of cool, Im behind the times on this one! Can you explain more?

There is a webcam and you actually interact with a live dealer who deals you extra large cards (so you can see them better) or spins a roulette wheel. It's all live.

THat is way too cool! Are any of them accredited Bryan or is this still the research to find out if enough are interested. I would love to see what one looks like even though I cant gamble for a couple of days

This way I can take my time and look it over. That really sounds addicting (for my personality lol) maybe I shouldnt:D

32Red and one or two other MG casinos now have them in the lobby with more due. MG have built a system to record all cards/plays and store in a video-vault that can be searched...very clever stuff, cos thats the problem with Live Dealer up to now - no way of proving the dealer screwed up.

I voted "Not yet" but i have a doubt that I would stick with it anyway. Not my types of game.

Yes I've played blackjack with CWC several months ago. The advantage is there was video w/ audio. The disadvantage I remember is the players constantly flirting with the Costa Rican babes. So you need patience to play "live".

I also played at Kiwi back when they used PLaytech. The Filipina ladies are also cute and flirty, but no voice so that kinda turned me off. The best was when they has a Halloween costume party.

I do play live dealer's games ever so often at MG. It's slow, I know, but just the right pace when you want to relax and kick back and maybe have a beer(or cup o' tea).

Yes, you get to play against a man or lady who's just been taught the basics of BJ and barely graduated 'smiling 101' but it's a nice change of pace. And yes, you can use the bonus hunter's chart, there's plenty of time given to decide whether to hit or nit. I mean fold.

Well I had to vote "No - no interest - wrong games" because this was the closest thing to my real answer, which would have been "No - no interest - it's ludicrously SLOOOOOW - I'd rather watch paint dry!" if that had been on the list.

I played it at Ladbrokes (which I believe uses the Casino WebCam feed anyway) and it was pretty crap. Far too long between hands / spins of the roulette wheel, bad camera work, and they even announced the wrong number on roulette when the ball clearly went in a different one!!! :eek2:
On the blackjack the feed was so slow you saw what card you were getting on the electronic display before you saw the girl pull it out of the shoe!
If it could be speeded up and the girls were topless it might be more interesting, but as it is, phooey!

Fast paced BJ

KasinoKing, I completely agree with you as far as the Playtech live dealers are concerned. Roulette and BJ are painfully slow (well actually, roulette is probably faster than in a land-based casino; but for on-line players, it is slow). Baccarat is somewhat quicker; 30 seconds allowed to place bets.

But at DUBLINBET.com, there is a really fast-paced BJ. It has got some special rules; anyone who is interested can see for himself/herself; the player really has to stay focused because the game is really fast and you have to think and decide really quickly - because of the special rules - it is a kind of a percentage-payout BJ; there is a special name for it but I forgot it.

Not to mention that now they offered me 150% bonus up to 500 EUR - too bad I do not now have the money to take advantage of it. And you can even meet the WR on roulette... really good. Either on live roulette or on online roulette, etc. IMO, a really good choice for live dealer games.

For a low-roller like me, however, the minimum bet of 5 EUR at BJ is discouraging and almost prohibitive...

The game I would play would be roulette, but prefer 'quick-spin' on MG casinos because I rarely move my money around... it's horridly slow onland too, even on a sparse table.

I'm getting better at pai gau poker and would probably play that Live online.

Too bad for the wire act and all that crap... it would be fun to have a casinocam and an iphone and blog and take bets in person myself :)

I like live BJ online -except!- when the dealer and/or casino boss/flunky try to get me engaged in chitchat. Trying to read the dealer's chat, type, and watch the deal, and the cards, is not fun. I'm not that coordinated. :D

I'd like to play PaiGow live.

Hell, I'd like to play anywhere live... is there a live dealer casino for US players?

Baccarat, blackjack, euro roulette at riverbelle :)

I think the last time I played live BJ online was at Dr. Ho's. The dealer drove me nuts trying to talk (type) to me. She took a break, another dealer came in who said very little but then the 'host' came over to our table and started talking... where did I learn to play? How long had I been playing.. yada yada... I never played there again.

smack me now I was so excited about getting my 1st PM
that I didn't see the word online in the poll lol
so 1 of them yes should be a no
so sorry

Are there any games you'd like to see excluding strip poker? :p

I've had a tour of the live dealer office that Playtech uses in Manila. Fascinating stuff.

It's pretty popular with the Asian market - just wondering if a western style of play prefers fast machines instead of slow dealers. Maybe they can pump the girls full of amphetamines :D

:lolup::lolup::lolup:

I might be able to overcome the slow gaming if there were 'rooms' and you could look at six or seven other players, voice chat, that kind of thing. But, no, too slow for roulette, haven't played any others yet. Will probably play pai gau when I get better at it and it comes to an online casino near me

I played with "live dealer" at Casino Del Rio. Is pretty good IMO. A lot of chatting going on and the dealer was responding, so it took way more time than it should.
I prefer the live dealer over the computer software.
This casino was in a little room with the dealer the table and a camera on her, all asian girls.

There is also another one that has the camera in the actuall land based casino and it feeds the link to your computer.. no chatting here, you just watch the live Roulette wheel and the patrons of the casino around the table..

Yes I played the Live dealer Games at different Playtech Casinos, like Tropez and Europa.

But it is too slow, not the dealer, but the other guys playing with you, the are thinking one minute about what to do next.
And I am not a BJ Player, my favourite games are the video slots.
