Thank you thank you, very seasonal / colourful made up names. All with a strange 4 digit number after their name.
I am so bloody angry. what a con.

Oh and the latest ipad winners :

Congratulations to 2 lucky players, Elisabet S. (CrimsonWinter3985) and Pär L. (FunnyPanter7668) for winning our recent iPad Mini draw. Both players fought furiously on the video slot Flowers and will be walking away as iPad Mini champion

Crimsonseasons seems to be one hell of a lucky player(s)

What Casino is this?

SoftHill... SoftCat, BlackCloud, BlackHill? .... What happened to the good ol' fashioned names?

i held a good position in the tourney next time logged in it was a new tourney and old results were nowhere to be found. I had to send an email to get these. when i looked at the list i thought all the names looked weird and they were also the same as the winners for the guaranteed winners list.

how can i get this looked into officially?

Looks like computer generated names colour/object/number (except for a few)
If your assigned a name when you join then it'll be right enough

VeraJohn are a legit Outfit IMPO - It could be that a random name is allocated to conceal the identity of players?

Let me not speculate and find out for sure though!

We all use made up names, I wasn't casting aspersions, I'm just bad at jokes.

I wasn't actually christened Redbet. ;)

If those were players who had supposedly chosen those aliases then yes I could see that the OP would be suspicious, but if they're assigned randomly from the casino then it's probably legit.

It's like those "find out what your elf name is" things that circulate on facebook.

I contacted one of the Managers at Vera John and his response was:

"When registering a player account with us to speed up the registration process we have random system names that are given to the accounts.

This is to ensure that people don t get stuck in “This name has already been take” loop. People can once the account is registered change the names to whatever they want.

If anyone is doubting about this have them register a player account and you will see that this is the type of names that are generated."

Hope it clarifies the matter.

Well, maybe a little more imagination on the part of VeraJohn would dispel future observations like those of the OP, who IMO was right to be suspicious.

This list reminds me of the waiting room at a STD clinic: (from what I've heard about such places.):)

Bing Bong: "Would Smith1234 please like to come through now?"

Bing-bong: "Jones5678 your methicillin prescription is ready for collection at the hatch."

Granted this explains the random names but on registering an account with a name I would have expected more people to have chosen some username that actually meant something to themselves later on or at the time of sign up.

If these names are used as the usernames to sign in to use the account then I would be doubly suspicious that a person would not use a nickname that was easier to remember.

Lastly, even though it was explained you can’t help but sympathise with the OP’s thinking and I am still not convinced, send me their documents and I’ll verify them

Why do Casino's tend to be devious when they have the advantage beforehand. :what:

Seriously, just run the business properly and they will be successful with the nice house edge advantage they have.

I use my e-mail address when signing in to my account at Vera&John.

My display name (nickname) is still "FunnyDice***", because like many others - I have not bothered to change it (and I have played there for over a year).

It is understandable that the OP asked a question regarding this, but it was unnecessary by the OP to call them a "con" based on nothing.

Vera&John is a great casino alternative in my opinion. They certainly do not need to create any fake Winners - list as they are very popular, especially here in Scandinavia.

I use my username to log in here at the forums so the one I choose is best for me in answer to your initial response. I understood her thinking which is a general term and I really never quoted the "con" thing in agreement or endorsed it in anyway.

The only part of my post that I thought may have got me a wet salmon smacked in my face was the verifying of documents joke, anyways I see the name thing being backed up by fellow forum members so it's further conformation of the sites good standing and this can only be good for the casino and the forum members perceptions.
