Just wondering who here watches slots streamers? I guess I'm doing a bit of market research to find out what makes some streamers so popular.

It's something I'm really interested in doing because I play a lot and I actually think I'd be good at chatting about the games and what they're all about. Do people watch streamers just to see the big wins or is there something more to it?

Thanks all!

Personally NOPE - Because most of them are twats ...

Used to watch 1 or 2 streamers in the past but they quit.

I follow @dunover & @ChopleyIOM on Youtube but that is as far as it goes for me ...
I like their videos and the way they present themselves , 2 complete different styles but love 'em both ...

Streamers these days are nothing more than fake reality TV stars with bad acting, and playing bets most of us here can absolutely not relate to ... Killing every bit of morality within the industry ...

You'd stand a chance if you would play €0.50 - €2.00 bets as I can relate to that ...
Also play your own money instead of 600% deposit bonuses most streamers get, as also this is something the normal players do not get ... It makes everything look wrong, experienced players will understand this but many many new players will probably fall for their sleazy tricks ...

That's awesome advice, thank you! I play on 50p bets because 1. that's all I can afford 2. it's so unrealistic when you see them betting a fiver and more. But, I was worried that's what attracted viewers.

I watch a few . Its a combination of being interested to see games i don't personally play and their personality and the banter in chat. If i know or suspect strongly they are fake i rarely will continue to watch.

What i would say is they change. When they start out generally they are ok . Once the money starts to roll in from the affiliation. They all have websites too mind... they change and unfortunately not for the better.

I like to watch bets beteeen 1 pound and a fiver once they go over that i get stressed lol

Personally i usually always find something more interesting from internet, just not my cup of tea to watch someone to play slots. Been checking some out and know some of them but haven't really find anything that tempting that i would watch more than few minutes. Of course there's also chat and interaction with other watchers etc... but don't really find too much entertainment for me to watch any streamers to do anything, not only slots but in general, i have same reality to watching myself at home having fun with my computer.

Probably i'm too too old and grumpy for these streamers and video makers :) ... For sure this is only me, amount of viewers prove that there are loads of people who disagree and watch them. One point already mentioned here (like it's always when streamers are spoken here) is that it's bit unethical marketing to play slots with £20-50 spins and show these monster winnings which can make some youngsters to think that you can make your living by playing slots (i hope majority of people are not that stupid to get that impression but nothing surprise when it's coming to stupidity or being naive).

Big wins are always recorded anyway so no need to waste time to wait them but just find them afterwards if feeling to see how slot stop for crazy win, for these streamers these just are not same than if i would hit bit, they do it more regularly and when you play slots as work, it must get bit boring to entertain there so many hours a week :)

Wouldn't cry if some authority would ban all gambling streams.

I always like to see them playing new games, so you can see if its worth time and money investing on a slot. The thing I actually can't stand now about streamers is the endless budgets they have. I remember when the bandit would tilt after a £500 loss and then quit. Now he just keeps redepositing till he hits big and makes his money back. I prefer to watch people like chipmonkz as he's streams are like what a normal player would play.

It's amazing how insufferable all the streamers are and yet so many people watch them. Only three with decent personalities are thebandit, rocknrolla and Jimbo. I don't understand how someone like Chipmonkz gets views; guess that's how desperate for content gamblers are.

"All" the streamers, and you go on to mention 4 UK based slotstreamers/vloggers...

Anyway, I watch quite a few. There's still some out there that play on quite normal stakes and have a more active chat than some of the big wigs even when they only have 100-150 viewers.

Oohhh.... haven't seen a streamer topic for a while now

It is all about supply and demand. There must be a demand for these streamers else no one would watch them.

The streaming scene has changed a lot over the years, and not for the better at all.

What was once pretty good, soon became a cock waving contest who can do the biggest bets and "giveaways" because that attracts the viewers. People see others making a good living out of it and it and they joined the gravy train and it became their job rather than passion for slots with a little bit of spending money at the end of it.

All it will result in, is more focus on streamers by the regulators with the potential it will all go tits up for them with nothing left. It is the genuine streamers that will then suffer as a result of it.

And some of the blame also lies with the casinos who are using some of the streamers as a medium to get advertising and get the most sign ups. Unrealistic bonus terms make it not only unrealistic but a unlevel playing field for other streamers.

I used to watch one called @JGslots but he was rubbish and I couldn't understand a word he said. ;)
I miss that lad legend of the scene hope him and hes beautiful face is back soon

Jimbo has a voice that induces many a suicide.

I do like this guy however.
Hasn’t changed, even after his massive win Lol

Please, share your opinion with the group.

I remember you saying how you liked them? :eek2:
Id love to go into vast detail, sadly as I’ve a comp to honour when I’ve got the funds my absence will a factor.
Of course after said comp Is paid out I’ll let rip and await my ban, off a ducks back now mate :)

Yes, I watch many streamers on twitch, not much on YouTube - mainly helps me to NOT gamble to be honest. If I want to take a few days break or something, I'll just pull up some streams and save some cash.

Met tons of nice people in the chats as well

The chat are jobless bums.
Hence the time they watch.
I watch and laugh when off for 3 weeks, bless them they all get excited over a £25 amazon voucher that said streamer pays with there losses.
It’s a abhorrent way to earn a living
