Do you believe in a "sweet spot"??

I'm rather new here, but people who frequent casino's have all kinds of good luck tricks. I was wondering if anyone else here looks for a spot on the spin button and if you win, doesn't move from it in case it's the lucky spot on the button. I know it sounds silly, but so does wearing certain pants to go to the casino, etc. lol

I always have my friend who is a plastic frog beside me when I play poker. He doesn't give me good luck but he reminds me to stay focused and make the right decisions...

yaaaaaay its not just me lol.....yup I have a 'sweet spot' as you put it....I usually start at the very center of the button, then if that doesnt work the center of any letters till I find my 'lucky letter'

oh thank god, I am not alone....can I put my straight jacket back in the wardrobe now ?

Your g/f's a mouse??!?!

Well she squeaks a lot and eats all my cheese, so i guess....:)

Back on topic though, i think "good luck" charms are fine, but i don't believe that there is anything you can do that will physically influence the game. That said, most software I have ever come across has Easter Eggs which are fun to find...I'd be interested to know if MG or Crypto software does.

Easter Eggs for those that don't know are "secret" actions performed in s/ware when a certain combination of keys/clicks are preformed. They also crop up in films etc:

My wife touches the corner of the spin button and is convinced it helps

Also, at Harrahs Cherokee they have lock n roll slots that you can stop each real by touching it on the screen. She loves these slots cause she thinks she can make it stop where she wants it to. If you watch her play these it looks like a conductor for an orchestra. I get tired just watching her.

i dont have any myself but my mother in law is convinced that if you stay at a machine long enough and everything you do is the same as last, you will get a jackpot, cant say it works, but man you need a crowbar to get here away from the slots

LOL you're my spinning twin I think. I do the same thing, I usually move around the middle of the A button on the max bet until I find a spot I like. :)

I'm burning my straight jacket now. lol

Luck

On real machines, I tend to hit the buttons harder, or faster to bring in the wins, with the state of maintenance in the UK of our AWP machines this has nothing to do with luck, but getting dodgy buttons to work:D
Online I tend to look for "tells" in the slots in the same way as I do for our UK Fruit Machines. The biggest tell is how often the near misses are on the scatters for free spins. If they are hitting 2 scatters frequently I find that a bonus round follows within the next 500 spins:D :D :D :D :D :D

If I hit 4 scatters for the bonus round I know it will be CRAP:(
If I hit 4 scatters IN the bonus round it can do its worst and still be fairly good.

If the machine is hitting few/no scatters AND no frequent small line wins it's time to leave. If same on second & third visits for a few spins I consider the game to be in Lockdown and ignore it for a while (days rather than hours).

MG software Does have Easter Eggs. Click on the desktop icon when playing is really important (promotion, withdrawal), and the software will pick up the vibes and go into a loop, or freeze on the loading screen, or log on but not let you launch anything:D
