Well I was playing on multiplayer bj on sportsbook.com and the weirdiest thing and convo ensued. Basically I was playing with 2 other players 4 seats were open and a player then sits on all the open seats for and times out. Is what is said in the convo common knowledge? I do realize that the person could be lying. But 2 things how the real can you sit at all four seats and the person was there over an hour later when someone asked if he was still there.

gmk05: wow
gmk05: finally
RunBetter: um wtf

RunBetter: did u see that?
RES123: yea i did
gmk05: what the four ghettosams?

Ghettosam: so the game stays fair... and no boddy gets a higher edge than 62.99%

RES123: what do u mean by that
gmk05: sounds fishy

RES123: wow
RES123: that's pretty good
RunBetter: ghetto u there?
Ghettosam: if you were to win 5 games straight you would have 67.99% edge over the casino and other players...
gmk05: so?
RunBetter: we can lose 10 straight hands and its fair but cant win 5 in a row
RunBetter: lovely
Ghettosam: before we started resetting hands you had players getting 87.99% edge over the casino and other players

RunBetter: what do u mean and other players?
gmk05: 2 in a rowwww

Ghettosam: that mean...that no body gets good cards except you and thats not fair

gmk05: im determined to get in a row now
gmk05: theres 1
gmk05: 2
Ghettosam: paper and a pen and write down your losing hands and winning hands as they come...there is usually a pattern....and with that you can pretty much predictthe next number
gmk05: as they come?
gmk05: the cards or jus thte number of times you lose?
gmk05: 1
Ghettosam: the casino have to be fair...so if you lose 3 hands in a row...the next 2 games are promises wins

Good Morning All - I hope you all are well. My name is Kiki and I have worked for Sportsbook/Playersonly/Superbook casinos since 1999 and firstly let me emphasize what ghettosam is describing is wildly inaccurate. I have never heard of such things occurring. I have contacted the casinomeister here directly to provide me with as much information as he can relating to this post. What the poster describes goes against all the standards set by online gaming regulators and would ultimately jeopardize our ability to continue in business. Thank you all for your time. I hope to hear from Bryan shortly. Have a good day!

Welcome
Does ghetto really work for your company? If so is it okay for him to use such foul language when speaking with customers? Plus I think Bryan is on vacation, I'm not sure though. Also, if it is bogus, or whatever, I wouldn't worry. The seasoned forum members on here are way too smart to let someone pull a fast one. I think the truth will come out.

Maybe all that is being referred to is a SHUFFLE (although every 3 hours seems a long time). Does the dealer use a shoe as would be the case in a B & M casino. Certainly, the shoe is never dealt from till the end, at a certain point the remainder is discarded, and a new shoe is made up from a thorough reshuffle of all the cards. This is done to prevent players using a strategy (card counting) from getting too much of an advantage. The "reset" could also mean a new deck of cards.
If this "reset" every 3 hours is a genuine feature of the casino, then we DO need an explanation, because it DOES sound a bit "fishy".

If this dealer DOES work for you, he has done you quite a bit of damage because he has seemingly confirmed an "urban legend" that many casino softwares are rigged to ensure a casino does not get caught out by too large a winning run by it's players.
The infamous Cipher once touted a system based very much on doing what Ghettosam seems to be suggesting in that chat transcript. His system was found to be little more than "snake oil", since all it did was record PAST patterns, it had no power to predict what would come next.

Hopefully, you record these chat logs in case of dispute, and can see whether this is a segment from a genuine chat (in which case you have a disgruntled employee), or a fabrication. For this, you will probably need to know the time & date of this event, which hopefully the OP could provide, even if approximate.

The incident occurred today approximently between 1-3am cst. I didn't record which table it occurred on but it looked like it was the only table going at the time.

Sportsbook.com

Hey Guys, I have been in contact with one of the moderators here namely Simmo and we have since confirmed that this post did NOT come from any employee within our company but from inside the US and is a complete fabrication. Regarding your question vinylweatherman, Multiplayer Blackjack game is played with an eight deck shoe of cards which is reshuffled after each hand. For this or any other queries you may have please free free to contact casinosupport@sportsbook.com. Have a great day!

Hi. Just looking for a little clarification. Are you saying that the chat as recorded and reported by the OP did not happen, or just that Ghettosam is not your employee and was making everything up?

If it is the second case, could you explain how he can sit at four seats (sorry, I don't play at your casino) since the OP seemed to indicate that is not something you can do.

Has Ghettosam now been shown the door, or at least blocked from participating at Live Blackjack?

Jazette rep, I see you are on the forum today. Could you please answer my question here? I realize the issue is from several months ago. I am satisfied with your response that the player Ghettosam was not one of your employees, but I would like your response still.

Your slots look cool. You are not CM accredited, and it takes a lot of trust for me to play elsewhere. A rep's participation in the forum is part of that decision making process.

Interesting the rep never confirmed whether Ghettosam is a employee. Also this was from their "multiplayer blackjack game" not their "live blackjack game".

Sorry if its against the rules to bump a 5 yr old thread, I never saw the post that was in November 2009 and find it interesting that the rep didn't answer the poster's question.

Lol you were the poster…

Are those sites even around anymore?

I was referring to JasmineBed's questions that never got answered. I believe sportsbook.com is still around. After the incident I cashed out and never touched that site again. I was trying to decribe the incident on another forum, couldn't remember the details of this incident so I got on here today to read the thread. I never saw JasmineBed's two posts itt and just found it interesting that JasmineBed pointed out that she was considering playing on the site, saw that the rep was online, and requested the rep come to the thread to answer her questions but the rep never posted again itt.

Just checked and they still do seem to be online..

They used to run RTG software, but now it something else

Well, since it was RTG, I guess it's no real surprise if there was something fishy going on, especially back in those days. I've heard many stories about how the casino staff at those casinos where able to manipulate the actual RNG of the black jack games. I know there are some decent ones like iNetBet, but for the rest of them, I would be careful.

Just wanted to point out "Jazette Casino's" second response, did not reveal anything we did not already know, there is no one questioning where I was posting from or whether I am or am not employee, I never said I was an employee in the original post, I was a player on the site and made that clear in my original post. All Jazette Casino's post did was deny the incident I and other players witnessed occurred.

Furthermore Jazette Casino, why did you have to confirm where this post came from? Was it so you could do an IP Check find out which one of your players I am, then send me an email when I requested a cash out saying this:

"Just a quick note to let you know (my name) that somebody sharing your IP address has been posting defamatory remarks on www.casinomeister.com regarding our Instant casinos. We are not suggesting this was you but, if you have been using a shared computer we would ask that you ensure you are fully logged out of your account, as much for your own benefit as for ours."

Wow...that's quite a scandal

Can you provide some links etc to so I can see the evidence for myself? I can't believe myself and other veterans haven't heard of it.

Why care? This was nearly five years ago. You were the OP. Why bring this up now? You could have bumped this up within a couple of months of your first post.

If the chat session was a fabrication, then it's implied that you are the one who fabricated this. As I see it, this is water under the bridge - life goes on.

As for RTG software, operators have no control over how it plays.

I think they MIGHT be able to change the RTP by offering a different variation of Blackjack.
But I can't see how any casino could possibly have any access to the RNG.

I read it at a few Swedish casino forums about 6 years ago. Can't seem to find the links though . Of course I should have made it clear that these are just rumors and I can't verify them, however the RTG casinos has a very bad reputation here.
