Did you guys manage to save your gambling winnings??

So what's the trick to save?? Let me start.. so I win let's say $500.00.
So what should I do?

1) Withdraw and don't reverse?
2) Make a fresh new deposit on the SAME casino or different casino?
3) Leave the money on my moneybookers or neteller account or withdraw to bank with fixed deposit?

Any advice? :)

Haven't had many withdrawals over the past couple of months, but I did have one large one back in June/July time, and it paid for my flights for my weeks holiday, a brand spanking new Samsung S2 unlocked mobile phone, a Samsung Galaxy Tab, some new Adidas trainers (I love Adidas trainers), and a nice new cooler fan for my computer.

Around 1k total, hardly the 50k vwm is talking about, but it made me happy!

Although I have to admit my playing style has changed quite a bit in the last two years, and I haven't even analysed all my results for them yet, from 2001 to 2010 I made $57,000 profit from playing online casino bonuses.
Obviously over 10 years that's only $5,700 per year on average, or less than $500/month = not a huge amount.

The major things I spent my profit on were my trip to Vegas in 2004 and first laptop computer in 2005. The rest just went into paying off my debits (in the early 2000's) and just general everyday spending.

I never reverse a withdrawal, that's probably my number one gambling rule. I made this rule long ago after winning big and plowing the money back into the slots on a much larger bet. Not a good feeling.

Once the money's in my bank account I immediately head to an ATM and withdraw the cash and then deposit the money into a different bank account. I have a high interest savings bank account. I don't withdraw from this account more than once a month otherwise I loose the interest. So far I've got a few thousand in there, I'm saving up for a holiday, I donate money to charities occasionally, and buy games for my gaming consoles as well.

I also sometimes make a list of things I want to buy. Then during a session once I've won enough money to buy said item I cashout.

I'm a low roller and mostly play for entertainment. I'll never reverse a withdraw. I'd rather play on new funds according to my weekly gambling routine/budget :)

I never win huge amounts (my biggest single wins to date are both on SWR - about £1150 x 2), but I do withdraw an awful lot, several hundred at a time and the odd thousand or more here and there. I'm addicted to withdrawing! :D Have bought loads with my winnings; new TV, new PC, clothes, gifts for my fiancée and kids and so on and so forth.
Whilst I might be down on one or two casinos, I'm up loads on others. Betsafe for instance - it's basically my ATM since I joined them.
The trick is to get into a habit of withdrawing, it's a great habit to have! And try to play casinos that flush and or/don't allow reverse withdrawals; enjoy the winnings ;)

You're Spot on Rikki :)

I withdraw as often as I can. I have bought a good few items.. Tv's, Laptops, Desktops and spoiling the GF amongst other things. On my latest spree I got myself 2 x I7 Desktops as upgrades to my media boxes.

I DO throw huge chunks back... As long as I am looked after by the Casino and as long as I have something to show for my winnings I am happy.

So everybody just have won thousends of euros from casinos and bought loads of stuff with those winnings :D. Seriously?

Is casinomeister full of professional bonus whores, or how else is it possible that people are on profit from casinos trough long period of time o.O.

Does not make sence.

Did not red the whole read, so probably just got the wrong impression.

Hi yes you are wrong here :D

We are talking about if you hit something nice. Do you save your winnings or buy something nice for them.

Let's talk for myself. I might have won nice $1000 at Lucky Red Casino couple weeks ago and made withdrawal. I did not but could have bought a new laptop which I am missing badly. Instead I gave my sweet fiancee bit of money and have banked some away for holiday this May :)

This is what is main thing in this thread. Not just about profit in whole from casinos :)

If we take i only made deposit of $40 when won the $1000. Then looking at it I might have spent over $1000 last couple years at that casino without a withdrawal. Not true in this case though but just to give example

So casino gambling is one way like an investment. Sometimes it pays of big and nice. Other times big failure and loss. :p

But in general thread is about what you do when you win something nice from a deposit is what I understand without reading whole thread trough :D

Although overall in the big picture, I am rather heavily 'down' as a player, I've had a system for utilizing my winnings on a week by week basis. I always have a small target of things for that week that I want/need to buy, for example, a tank of petrol, my grocery shopping, whatever it is, and when I get to that amount of winnings, I withdraw. Recently I needed to replace a set of wheels on my car, so the goal amount to win was £400, and when I hit it, I stopped and ordered the wheels straight away. Short term, this system is gratifying and makes gambling seem worth while as I'm covering the costs of things I want to buy without it coming from my salary, so everything feels like a freebie. Yesterday needed £40 for groceries, won £40, cashed out. Do that kind of thing all the time.

Biggest win I've had in one go was £3000 but I didn't do anything significant with the money as it was all pretty much given back to the casino before long.

Well, i think on a long term the casinos will get all of it back (no matter which one). The best way is to stop gambling when your´re up and save it - of curse, then you´re the winner.

I for myself can say that i didn´t it this way. I always returned to the casinos, lost nearly all of my winning regarding online-gambling. No need to speak bout Vegas, but this really costs me a midsize BMW during the last years. At least i got my experience of the U.S. Southwest while travelling thru AZ, NV and CA.

So long: i quit gambling online but i will always spend a few bucks when i have my vacation at a land based casino.

Have a good one,

Polli

I have won a nice amount.

In the beginning of my gambling history, I just put it all back into the slots...as I was so excited and well , just couldn't put the slot down.;)

I became wise after a phhhew years and then I started to withdraw and I became more excited after I looked at the 'stuff' I bought...Mortgage paid, utility bills paid..and a few luxury items.

Now,I am not depositing too much as I have other issues to deal with but it will come around again.

I am feeling slightly at odds these days about depositing because of restrictions.

For years I was a barfly, and a bingo hall player. I spent way more than I did online, with not as much to show for it.

Last year was a bit of an anomoly, got very very lucky once and pretty lucky a few other times. Way too much went back in, but I did make a wise move with a lot of it.

Past years, some of the stuff I bought I totally could have saved for had I not played. But online gambling has been my entertainment, I wouldn't have saved that each month for a year to buy a bike, or two years to go to Europe, I would have visited the bar, ordered takeout, gone out to eat, taken a cab.

It's a little like a savings account that pays minus 7%.

when i get good winnings (very rare) lol
i usually save 80%
and put 20% back into the casinos for play again

Good one. Couldn't have put it better myself.

Had a killer 2 days last week over at 32red. won a little over 5g's.
Was able to pay off and close my very last credit card ($1600)
Clear up and close my $1000 overdraft at the bank,
bought myself some bad ass toys for my garage (New Table saw, air tools, new air compressor etc)
and I suprised my wife with an ipad mini yeterday..

Been a wicked month for me and it's about God damn time ..:D

Couple weeks ago i hit a good run at ladbrokes and cashed out just over £2k. Good end to what was an incredibly bad run i was on. Infact the run was so bad 32red actually gave me a free chip since my RTP for Jan-Start feb was shocking. Got that back looking respectable hitting an upward swing. Didnt cash out (never do on a free chip unless its a deposit bonus) Then caught Finer reels and immortal on a great day at Ladbrokes . So far resisted temptation to put my Laddies cashout anywhere near a casino. Currently having a little gambling hiatus till the new LOTR clone drops.

I like how you guys use the word 'donate' when giving money to the casino. Just makes me giggle!
Been having shitty luck this year!
