Having played quite a few spins on different Blueprint Gaming megaways slots lately, I'm quickly getting used to having to wait 500 spins or so for the 30x features to land, but this one slot really takes the cake and it's called Diamond Mine Megaways. I had never played it before, and am now 3,000 spins in to it without a single feature landing! I've never seen anything like it. I mean, 1k spins is ok, that happens from time to time. 2k spins is beyond WTF, but ok, it must be a one off. 3k spins however. This is criminal. It certainly doesn't help that base game wins are almost non-existant as well, leaving me at below 50% RTP over these 3k spins. Adding to this, I've gotten an "Internal Error" message 3 times or so, forcing me to restart the game obviously making me suspect this could have reset my "progress" as well, further delaying the long overdue feature.

It just acts so different to the other BPG slots I've spun a bit (5k spins on each), like Big Cat King, Legacy of the Gods, Temple of Treasure, Wolf Legend, or Into the Wild, who all appear to play out fairly consistent to RTP even over longer sessions, not really threatening the balance at all.

What are your experiences with this particular slot? Would you keep playing it untill the inevitable feature landed and made things right again, or has it shown its true self right from the start? Also, have you ever gone featureless over 3k spins on any slot that 3-scatters so often. If so which slot was it?

Try diamond mine extra gold it bonuses a lot more it’s basically diamond mine extra chilli except you only need to win first wheel (not 2) to be safe. This was a base hit with the lanterns 👍

Well, I get told all the time that I am imagining things/seeing patterns that aren’t there, etc, etc but again I will state, this game has been messed with.

As @curremon hinted, it’s a clone of Bonanza. When it first came out, it was alright, although personally I never had a great bonus round, despite probably hitting around 500 of them.

Then, just like Bonanza something changed, drastically. I went through countless sessions and never saw a bonus round. When it eventually popped up it paid about x40. Unless you get extremely lucky, don’t expect the bonus to save or return the majority of your losses. Most of them are sub x100.

I am seen on this forum as some deluded tin foil hatter. I can assure you, I am not. I know my eyes aren’t deceiving me. Once games have been out for a period of time, you will notice one thing. THEY BECOME WORSE.

Whether that’s down to a drop in volume of players and money or the providers creaming off the top, I don’t know. All I can assure is, that it happens.

It’s no coincidence that I have never seen a post in which the poster is claiming a slot has got better since release, you only ever see the opposite.

When you play a game often enough and for lengthy spells, you get a real feel for it’s parameters. There will always be the odd time you think that was a bit off but when it suddenly starts happening every session, never to return to it’s former self, you know something untoward has happened.

Providers must think we are mugs and that we won’t notice and then of course, you get “the blind faith”, who will swear nothing has changed, even though they have never played the game. (Laughable tbh).

I have never played many games from day 1 but I guarantee that these have all been gimped since release.

Diamond Mine
Gonzo’s Quest
Jungle Spirit
Bonanza
DHV
Millionaire
BOAW
IR
GOT

Probably hundreds of others but like I say, I never played them enough to be certain.

Diamond Mine was the alternative for Canadians prior to April 4th over at Doug’s Casino. Like Bonanza, Diamond Mine was pretty generous early on but now is tight and big base game wins are non-existent. You have to get the bonus to make any hay in this slot.

The reduced RTP makes a massive difference on megaways games in particular,I find.

Got 243 or Got 15 lines? Always preferred the 15 line version it feels higher variance (even though it pays less). 243 was always more hit or miss for me. 👍

Some good alternatives to try are wolf legend megaways and wish upon a leprechaun megaways (again just need to win first gamble on wolf). And leprechaun is always minimum 7 (so never collect).

Well, I gave it another go, despite you guys comparing it to Bonanza whom I am well aware of all the horror stories circulating both in this forum and in mental institutions world wide. I found that the feature actually exists! After being mocked by the cow a couple of times, and the base game's biggest win an 11x, it still landed within only 250 spins but of course it didn't have anything whatsoever to offer apart from a huge set-up with the gold digger on X9 - 32 ways or something - and it could only total a 31.5x... Gave it another 50 spins after that, all dead, so, to conclude , I see no reason at all to play this game anymore, even if it owes me! 😡
