Is it normal for a casino to not allow withdrawals for 10 days after a Neteller (balance) deposit? Aren't transactions between Neteller and the merchant settled a LOT faster than 10 days?

I had to deposit at a new casino in order to be able to withdraw winnings on a free chip, and have to wonder if that's just part of a ploy to get me to lose the winnings and deposit to them.

Since the 10 day thing is in their T&C, I see no reason to post their name or address here... yet. I'm slightly worried, though... doesn't an obscene hold time generally indicate cashflow issues?

Thats why you shouldnt use a free chip. It's better to have no restrictions and play with just your money and not theirs. They can set the rules that way. It sucks.

Deposit requirement for Free Chip Cashin

This is not unusual to cash out on a no deposit bonus. It would be very unusual if it was not tied to bonus.

It's not attached to the ND bonus. It's a 10 day hold on ANY DEPOSIT and all winnings from it.

    10 day holding period

    A bit confused by statement

"I had to deposit at a new casino in order to be able to withdraw winnings on a free chip, and have to wonder if that's just part of a ploy to get me to lose the winnings and deposit to them."

I usually think free chip is a ND.

    BUT
This casino would not get any of my play, unless it is to clear a first time cashin

The 10 day hold rule is apparently for all new accounts. It's not part of the ND bonus. Still...

    Hold time

    Annorax,

Some very reputable casinos treat your initial cashin much different than subsequent cashins. (Lasseter for example will only mail check for initial regardless of deposit method and clear the account for Neteller only after they confirm the check routing) . Some rouge casinos will take +10 days to start processing and then not pay promptly

    Good luck

    Buck
