Deposit easily, withdraw hard

I have been gambling online for 4 years. And, I have NEVER had any problems until March 2007. Can anybody tell me why they can take the money out so quickly, yet I cannot get paid. I, too, have been waiting for a payount. I have always paid through my checking account. The funds are gone the next day. Finally, somebody posted about the EcoCard and Riverbelle paying out. I do not play through them, but somebody just a known. I just do not understand how they can take one way, but they cannot replace the same way now. Thank you.

Maybe I just don't get it either. Makes ya wonder who's side this law is on.

If the concern is that our online casino deposits could be in some way supporting evil doers well fine. Now it's almost as easy as it ever was to deposit but harder to withdraw. Who cares if I want to deposit a fat check from outside the country. Thought it was about stopping us from unknowingly putting our hard earned dollars into the wrong hands not taking it out.

Did they not know they were going to have to go at this from the wrong end of the deal or what. Did they know nothing about gambling at all. If they made it difficult for us to get our money out of the casino maybe we'd think twice about depositing. Ah.. hello ..gee would gamblers be willing to take the chance of getting nothing for their deposit. That's a gamble already being taken with every deposit.

They will never make it impossible to deposit and only make it a pain in the butt to cash in. Sorry to go on so but it just makes me crazy. When you think of the laws supposed intent its laughable. Either they are just stupid or so greedy its scarey.

As for the casinos seeing this coming well seems they were willing to gamble some themselves. At the start I think most players were focused on how could we get those deposits made. I think they banked on that happening. We should of had the upper hand. They want our money and would of worked like hell to ensure reliable deposit and cash in options were available had we demanded it. Instead we (most and myself included) sought out any deposit method working doing the work for them. It's no wonder it appears they are dragging their feet finding reliable cash in options. Making sure money was flowing as easily in both directions didn't stop players from depositing before is it now ?

ITOLDYOUSO, WHY ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THIS FORUM

All of your posts are admonishments to players for gambling. I don't think anyone needs you telling them over and over to stop gambling, when they post a question or problem. Apparently you have no withdrawal problems and it seems you do not even gamble online. So why are you posting to this forum?

Sorry, but I for one am tired of your "I told you so's."

Do you have a hidden agenda for reading these posts? Are you part of some anti-gambling organization? Or just bored with nothing else to do.

This Forum is those who gamble online not gambling NAY SAYERS!

While anyone may join this forum and be free to post on this site, replying to posts should be relevant to the topic.

I doubt I am the only member with this view. I am interested in seeing how your respond to this.

Ill just let silcnlayc speak for me on this comment:

All the casinos have been doing this since November and the passage of the UIGEA and players are still flocking to the casinos regardless of what platform they use...now who is the dummy?

Why do you guys (in the USA) insist on supplying funds to these casinos knowing full well all the horror stories from the get go thinking you will be different?

I don't get it...you give them money, they have no withdrawal button or lots of excuses, then you complain....whats wrong with this picture except for the fact that USA players are a tad thick in the head and are practicly "forcing" money upon these people...think they want you to stop that ...geez...they will keep taking as long as you guys are dumb enough to give..

No offense to anyone in particular...but I am not getting the, deposit lots of money vs no withdrawal vs complaining vs knowing about the money transfer issues???? Hello? Anyone home?

Stop playing....thats all it takes...geez...take a trip, save for a nice weekend off to your favorite place...get a fix that way...take a partner/friend/family member and you will enjoy yourself that much more than sitting screaming at your monitor and "praying" just maybe your withdrawal will slip through the net of no withdrawals...

I for one wants you to get your money. But why keep creating problems? Maybe tough love is what some of you needs. I've been an online gambler since 1998. First casino was Casino On Net. First Poker was Poker.com went to Delta Poker, Coco Poker, and when Paradise came it was a BIG change for online poker. Paypal wasnt even a service when I started. Obey the laws of your country or fight for change!

footdr, I was thinking the same thing last night, I am tired of reading itoldyousos ranting on this forum. We are adults making are own decisions and surly did not join this forum to read antigambling posts!!!!! itoldyouso, why dont you join an antigambling forum?

i dont think the guy is antigambling. i think he is pro-common sense. there is really no reason for any of us in the u.s. to be playing online right now. the countless hours and phone calls and emails and b.s. trying to get paid and find deposit options is pretty silly when you think about it. i, for one, have just started going to atlantic city more than usual. i still play pokerstars only because my balance has been the same for months and i seldom cash out from there anyway. this will all blow over eventually and if the u.s. can regulate it (find a way to get their cut) then all will be well in the world. if not we will probably find a way to survive without online gaming. or we can all move to europe!:)

it depends on where you play, what withdrawel methods are available!!! there are casinos that pay, i.e bodog, mg casinos that offer ecocard withdrawels. I have not had a problem except for a click2pay issue which I solved by depositing at a casino that would payout a differnet method than original deposit!!! common sense dictates that you would not withdrawel via ach right now, so I think that those who continue are asking for trouble, but as an adult they are free to make their own decisions and deserve not to get blasted by those who are no longer playing!! why even bother posting on this site?

but as an adult they are free to make their own decisions
Very true!
not to get blasted by those who are no longer playing
No blasting here, just curious as to why anyone from the USA would continue to play with all the problems going on and so many complaints CONTINUOUSLY being posted.
why even bother posting on this site?
I guess because we can and it's a great place and, and, and...I could go on and on..

Just because I choose not to play and go through all the agony of some players nightmares, doesn't mean I need to leave the boards. Yes? After all, I am a grownup! (Refers to first line on post)

I have not had a problem except for a click2pay issue
You say you have had no problem and then come back and say except for..so either you had problems or haven't... :D

okay, I should restate that I havent had a problem, because I play at an accredited casino that enabled me to bybass all of the problems that others had been having.I respect your opinion, everybody has a right to have one, just dont understandstand why you are doing this on this forum(itoldyouso)

I think that, once again, a certain amount of filtering has to come into play when reading/responding to posts. The original poster has exactly ONE post credited to them. Any idea which post that is? Therefore, I agree with the good Dr. that immediately jumping that person with STOP GAMBLING ONLINE is rather uncalled for. On the other hand, the original poster could have used a quick search and found NUMEROUS mature threads concerning their topic and therefore yet another "why can't we get paid" thread wasn't really necessary.

My rant would not be people should stop making adult decisions and live with the consequences, but rather people should SEARCH this Forum after registering and educate themselves -before- they post over-duplicated discussions.

This appeared to be a 'community' to me at the time I joined a few weeks back. Since then, I have certainly seen an awful lot of splintering going on between people who supposedly have 'everything in common'. I don't think it's very polite for Itoldyouso to jump a new member with the intense negativity he has towards gaming right now. I think there's a fine line between being over-compassionate (to borrow a line from Pulp Fiction: "Gentlemen, let's not start sucking each other's di**s quite yet") and flat out preaching or beating people up for their troubles. You might as well join a teen pregnancy community and preach abstinence if you're that damn bored or full of your own self-rightousness.

Back away from the Reply button and calm down a bit... if you can add something intelligent to a member's post, proceed. If in reality you just want to continue a rant you are well known for, might be best to just stop yourself. You only get one reputation per community, so it's probably best to shy away from getting stereotyped.

we bother posting because we care about an industry that has imploded. why should anyone be forced to play at just a handful of casinos? deposit methods and withdrawls are changing on a daily basis. hell, 90% of the posts recently are about problems not fantastic stories of online bliss. gambling online, or in any form, should be fun not aggrivating. people should get blasted if they continue to play in this environment. if you put your hand on a hot stove...take it off. common sense.

here's a good story that might bring everyone's spirits up. the past while has been my hottest win streak ever! i made a bunch of wins totalling ~2k at bet royal (yet to be paid so every rose has its thorn), another four figure win from a relatively unheard of playtech (i found one post in the forum search) playing let it ride, man that is a great game to sticky with, as well for the first time in months i cashed from intercasino, 375 playing vp, and i made a decent score 175 GBP from will hill. and all my gambling money since i struck up the habit again came from depositing sixty bucks with that amount kicked back via affiliate. so i have freerolled my way into having a constant gambling roll again and banking some timely wins. now i am poised to send a few grand back to my bank once my larger wins are paid. if there were more international players here there would be proportionately fewer posts about US players' troubles. i played poker at my buddy's last night and we had a royal flush on one hand! my first time seeing one live and non-rigged

I just wanted to know

I was only wondering why the money can go out through a debit card, and why it cannot go back in the same way. I am sorry for all of the controversy I started. I did not mean to. That is just the way I have played for years, and now you cannot get paid that way. Yes, I am upset that I am not being paid for my winnings. I was aware of circumstances regarding deposit methods, but my online casino never mentioned anything about problems with withdrawls. As of now, I could still make a deposit through my debit card. It just makes no sense to me. I have won big and lost big. I enjoy online gambling, but not when it comes to not receiving money that is owed to me, it stops. I only came to this board, because I was hoping to find some answers as to why I was not getting paid. My casino just keeps telling me to be patient.

well first off there is no reason to be sorry for asking a question. the people who get flamed are the people who insist that everything is ok. yes it does suck right now. for me it stopped months before the gaming act when i had huge double dipping problems with neteller. i posted it here and no one wanted to hear any negitivity with "trusted" neteller. i stopped using them, deposited with netspend and all was well until mg stopped letting me play from ny & nj. an acredited casino went as far as rerouting my checks through a different state because they didnt want to lose the business. i knew then it was getting bad. in fairness, i still let my girlfriend play at inet. she loses most of the time and so far checks have been good when she does cashout. if they ever start to bounce then it will be over. i enjoyed rtg's but they have gotten very tight and it's not fun when you dont have a choice. intertops mg was a last resort but they dont mail checks for payment so i'm limited to pokerstars for now. in all i did get beat from one place for about 300. big deal. lesson learned. the whole point of my rant was i dont think it's wise to play anywhere anymore unless you know that there is a chance you might not see your winnings. if people can accept that then that's cool but to pretend that there is no problem is not responsible gaming.

Back to your original problem ;). One hold up with casinos paying out is that no payment processor wants to send funds to the US. Casinos get a processor lined up, processor sends out checks and/or ACH, then said processor gets cold feet, dumps the casino, shuts down the account, then players get bad checks and ACHs that don't clear.

If the casino who is delaying your payment is accredited here, and/or has a rep on the board, please email or PM him/her and hopefully s/he can explain the delay with your withdrawal, and maybe even get it expedited for you. Go to the top of the page and look for "Casino Contacts" and look for your casino. Easiest way for me is to go to the contacts page, click Edit at the top of the browser window, then Find on This Page, and type in the casino name, then click next.

Good luck.

Not to speak for the original poster but I don't think Tanergirl was so much complaining but rather trying to ask a question. There's been alot of posts complaining lately and I think people took the post for yet another one. Tanergirl was maybe just expressing frustration in not understanding why exactly funds can be taken out but not go back the same way. So correct me if I am wrong Tanergirl but that is what you want to know right ?

Why is it working in one direction and not the other ?

Yes, that was my question

You are all being so nice. Thank you for being patient and explaining this to me. Yes, that was my question and it was answered. Have a good day to all of you.:)

MANY OF US JUST WAITING TO BE PAID NOT STILL DEPOSITING!

Personally, I am waiting to make sure the money I deposited last friday actually clears, I have been told upon contacting each casino several times, that the check will be honored when presented by my bank for payment. We will see. The largest check was put on hold until 4/9.

Also, I have made no further deposits since the nonpayment issues started. But have been lucky with FREE money casinos have given due to the problems and due to the fact I am a VIP for several years at these places.

I go 250.00 and turned it in to 1150.00 sent to C2P, then got 50.00 and cashed out 700.00 sent to click2pay. Deposited 50.00 to try out hitman at the moment up to 276.00(won on hitman). Having alittle fun will some of the FREE money.

No intention of depositing more of MY funds.

You say you have had no problem and then come back and say except for..so either you had problems or haven't... :D

I can answer the question "Why keep playing?" Consider this...all of us U.S. players that have been playing for years online and built relationships with a few reputable casinos that we trusted, were promised that our money would be safe, deposits would be honored and withdrawals would be paid. This from casinos that (at least in my case) have paid us some staggering amounts with lightening speed, consistently and hassle free, (for the most part) for many years.

So yes, when we were promised that they were aware of the new laws, but that they had developed systems to effectively deal with them and assured us repeatedly that our loyal patronage would not go unrewarded, WE BELIEVED THEM...they had never given us a reason NOT to all these years.

So, we continue to deposit in good faith. And unless I've missed it, I think for the most part, we ARE getting paid, albeit with delays and hassle.
While there have been a FEW instances of returned checks, or cancelled processors resulting in the withdrawal having to be re-done, I do believe the reputable casinos have come through, and are bending over backward to try and find a more streamlined system. The last thing the casinos want to see happen is to lose all the US player money....it's too profitable for them.

Back to the original question.... Where else can you sit in your PJ's, throw $100 at your computer and walk away with ten times that amount in a few hours??? THAT, my friend, is why we continue to play. We just cannot fathom these companies NOT treating us in the fashion we have become accostomed to all these years.

So - for those of you (and you know who you are) who continue to sit in countries OTHER than the U.S. and say, "those silly Americans, when will they learn???" I would challenge you to withhold judgement until you have walked a mile in our shoes...it's very easy to be playing somewhere that you still enjoy hassle free deposits and withdrawals and criticize those of us who don't have it so easy right now. I really wonder if the same thing happened in your country, if you would just immediately wipe all your casino accounts off your computer, as you seem to imply Americans should do. I really wonder.....

it seems to me gambling is akin to something like drugs to the government. they can't keep you from doing it, although they wish you wouldn't, and all they can do to hinder it is make it difficult to access. and the casinos have their own motivation to take in money, and will of course reach out to the american clientele to get deposits in the door. and it seems many casinos are indeed endeavouring to get funds back to the players, but this is where the government has the most supervision and can cause the most havoc. and it emulates the classic no-pay scenario of a casino, where america lets you put your money into gambling no problem, then invokes a clause and screws you on the cashout.

i wonder if this continues, will it be common for even the casual gambler to have an offshore bank account or similar off of which to supply the online casino accounts? eventually a service will surface that will allow anyone to send money anywhere, just like when napster came out and rendered music essentially free. i have a bit to cry about too. good ol reliable neteller just shut its door to canadians any day now. and for now my credit card is spent dry while i'm waiting on payouts to c/c as well as direct back to my bank. granted i have the liberty of funding an alternative ewallet like mb or c2p, but i need my gambling winnings before i spend more to gamble. i have already maxed my credit card for 500 since i know a payout of 1100 is going to it one day or another.

and if you have the luck of being an american, it takes time to launder money, and the longer interval from deposit to cheque in your mail, the less suspicious it all looks. rest assured, there is always going to be some way to get it done, and as they get to know the beast they're up against, payment systems will adapt to better solve the issues present. it sucks it has to be this way, but like i have in my sig, wagering is the hardest way to make an easy living. the streets says it, i've heard matusow and other poker players say it as well. good luck y'all, at the tables, machines, and cashier cages:thumbsup:

NOT ALL WITHDRAWAL DELAYS ARE DUE TO U.S. REGUALATIONS

I contacted Villento casino. They are taking a week to process a withdrawal to Click2pay. Now that has nothing to do with problems with u.s. banks, etc. The deposits I made were from FUNDS in my c2p account, not DD. Click2pay no longer did direct bank debits on 4/12. The casino should know that. Plus the transaction once processed shows deducted from Click2pay FUNDS. Now Villento says they have to wait a week for my C2P deposits to CLEAR. The transactions are processed by Click2pay in REAL Time. Money subtracted from my click2pay balance immediately. This is garbage!

Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Jolene'
Jolene: Hi Tracey

tracey : they deducted my deposits from the l000.00 balance I had in my clic2pay account. on the 12th. They say they transmit it to you immediately so I am confused regarding clearing time of l week aslo the website says 48 hours for click2pay withdrawals.

Jolene: Tracey, this is a policy of our ecash company to wait for deposits made prior to a withdrawal to clear

tracey : They have cleared.

Jolene: Once the withdrawals are processed, the funds take 24-48 hours to reflet in your click2pay account

tracey : it reflects in my account the same day you send it
tracey: always

tracey I am very confused. There has only been a clearing period if it involved click2pay needing to get the money from my bank account. That clearing period was 7 day.
tracey : There is no clearing period if the funds are already in my account. It is like handing you cash. I will call on monday. Cause this is not right. I made a withdrawal after this one elsewhere and funds already arrived in click2pay account

Jolene: i understand what you are saying, and I would like to get a further explanation for you from our finance department

tracey : ok
tracey : thanks

Jolene: sure, and youre welcome

tracey : why did you say c2p better than check

Jolene: its faster
Jolene: and if you do experience any problem cashing the check, this causes a further delay.
