Thought I would put together a short thread as I have received a lot of private messages recently on the NetEnt game Dead or Alive. The amount of screenshots appearing from CM members in recent weeks is quite astonishing so hopefully those who want to take on the DoA challenge or struggling to get that line of wilds - this should give you an idea.

I started playing DoA in March this year, and so far I have deposited 1900 EUR and cashed in 16,335 EUR from 9 NetEnt casinos.

Firstly, make sure you choose a CM accredited or one that will pay you upon KYC verification. Make sure you read the terms and conditions regarding wagering - more and more NetEnt Casinos are bringing in a rule that only 70% (some as low as 40%) of wagering on DoA counts towards bonus use.

I can personally vouch for the casinos below that they have paid my large DoA wins within 7 days without any funny business or delays:

KingPlayer: 100% up to 300 and 50 free spins.
Klaver Casino: 100% up to 150 and 25 free spins - Lowest wagering requirement
Mr Green: 100% up to 200 and 10 free spins - Fast payments and friendly support
Casino Room: 100% up to 100
Thrills[ 100% up to 200 and 50 free spins
Vera & John[ 100% up to 500 (depending on affiliate) - The NetEnt equivalent of 32Red in terms of support / fast payments
Unibet: 100% up to 200
Bet At Home: 100% up to 100
]Smart Live: 100% up to 150

TIPS
- Open your account in EUROs, wagering either 0.45 or 0.54 a spin for best results. Other spin amounts and currencies work, but these appear to work best based on a browse of over 217 screenshots and videos online and personal experience.
- Don't be afraid to use 100% bonuses - bear in mind the turnover, but one big win on DoA and you will easily reach your target. The frequency of x2 scatters (which pay double) and small wins also help turnover requirements.
- If your budget allows, play two casinos at once. Ensure you use two different browsers ie. internet explorer/firefox, chrome/safari etc - double the fun!
- If you have a slow session, don't be tempted to up your bet size - stick to your original plan
- Play auto-spin (i.e. 1000 spins at a time). If after half-way (500 spins) you don't get a bonus, stop and wait a few minutes then auto-spin again.

Once you win or meet wagering requirements, cash-in as soon as you can. Don't get carried away thinking another large win will come straight away! All NetEnt Casinos have responsible gambling controls, set a daily wagering limit of 1 EURO if you like and remove once the money is in your bank account.

It may take a hundred spins or even ten thousand, but when the line of wilds arrive it well worth the wait.

Stay within your budgets, play responsibly and I hope this thread has been of some use

Thanks but a few points:
It doesn't matter a toss which currency you play in - the only reason you see more Euro ones is that most of the consistent players on here are from outside the UK.
You say 'stop at 500 spins out of 1000 if no bonus round and have a few minutes before continuing.' I cannot see the relevance or any foundation on a random slot for saying that.
Most importantly of all, I would like to remind people to CHECK THE TERMS for conditions regarding autoplay - some sites consider it 'not in the spirit of the bonus' and construe it as AP, however bizarre that seems.
Another thing, if you want to speed up bonus round frequency play the game in multiple windows from the same site (if they allow it, some do.) You will see some strange things happen......;)

It works. I've tried it myself but I chose to lose at other slots because DoA is boring.

Quit your day job and follow these steps: profit!

Seriously though, the huge amount of screenshots from DoA seems odd to me. I myself have gotten five wilds on a payline twice in around a million spins. Five scatters zero times. I did win €30k on a €18 bet years ago and I feel like i'm paying that win back everytime I play DoA.

I'm gonna take a few k from my pokerbankroll and give it a real shot this week with a a different tactic then how I usually approach DoA.

Please you people who decide to try to take on this challenge...she has been lucky!!

You may not be, so don't use a cent on it that you can't afford.

I also wonder what my strategy was. I've had five scatters and five wild so many times, but had no clue that this was the way to get them.

Strategy with a slot. Well ok.

I am in front with thousands of Euros playing DoA. But I stopped playing this slot because I know in the long term I will lose.

Thank you for your strategy but with random games it is hard to find a strategy which works.

Strategies are for addicted people who are desperated. Please don`t understand me wrong, for BJ you need a stratedy. But for slots or Punto Banco? I don`t think so. All depends on your luck:)

I didn't want to make fun of Nicola using the word 'strategy' on a random slot, because I know what she's getting at. More of 'an insurance play method' using bonus funds. Indeed, if you look at the personal stats Blaothon posted referring to his deposits and win/loss at various casinos he is also well up on the bloody game too, but nowhere near the cash-outs minus deposits ratio of Nicola. He also advocates the use of bonuses to take this game on. I think most of know on here the gameplay is quite low-variance much of the time; small wins often maintain your balance for hours.
To me this slot almost plays like a 'pooled jackpot' game where a percentage is paid into a pool and every now and again a player hits the lucky round, otherwise the game is unspectacular. I'm not saying that it is set up that way, but that it behaves similar to that type of slot.

Maybe you are right, maybe you are wrong dunover:)

We don`t know how much every player deposit. It is cool to see a player has his 67th big hit with DoA. But how much did he deposit?

We don`t know. It is possible to win on a slot. I am in front with some Rival slots. And with most MG slots I lose more than the TRTP.

That`s the reason I don`t play MG anymore, played NetBent and now landed on Rival.

But at the end I will lose my 4% :):):)

Randomness I know but you can get a streak of a couple of hundred spins of nothing paying. A quick loo break or moment of pause seems to shuffle things up.

That always causes me problems as if you get a bonus in one window, the other window mirrors it. Using a different browser or session avoids this issue.

I don't think I have come across another slot game where you can play with a low deposit for hours on end. Small wins are frequent and regular x20 or x50 bonuses keep you around your depositing amount most times.

Certainly something different when it comes to that special bonus round. All those wilds seem to fall into place too perfectly for a 'random' event.

If you're referring to rolastan we don't know if he's up or not as unlike Nicola or Blaothon he hasn't published his financials. I make most of my winnings on MG, Netbent I can't make a cent on.

Now we should look at some facts here:
1. We know DoA maintains balances in many sessions similar to a low-variance game, yes it can be a suck when in a bad mood but generally maintains quite well.
2. We know that any low variance game, or one that behaves like one, is ideal for grinding out WR's.
3. DoA playing in this way gives a possibility of a bonus-busting 2-6k x stake win if the deposit + bonus lasts for a few k spins.
4. Blaothon and rolastan cottoned onto this early on, now Nicola is doing it that way.
5 Casinos have reacted by putting the facts above together and reducing WR contribution (in some cases) on DoA or even excluding it.

It's nice to see someone doing well on this game.

In terms of a strategy - your "winning" strategy is almost identical to my losing strategy.

I feel the only thing more difficult to accept than a losing streak, is a winning streak. When it arrives we try to apply logic to it and believe our decisions leading up to that moment were the correct ones (choice of currency, bet size ect). None of these played any part in your luck - but if it was me who hit that kind of lucky streak, I would also start to believe I had a winning strategy.

Make sure you spend your winnings wisely while you are ahead. Don't chase another big win because you feel you have a winning strategy. If you keep playing, you are mathamatically certain to lose every penny.

Lucky dust - not in Nicola's case. It must be 'lucky p*ss' :D:D:D:D

Yes, but it gets it over with quicker and makes no difference to your balance overall - just looks odd.

Nice little 'strategy' you made there Nicola :)

With my Doa results however, im pretty sure I'll get more excitement and a better financial outcome from watching paint dry.

But GL to anyone that gives it a shot :)

I have a stratergy, but if lucky you win, if unlucky you don't, to me its as simple as that on this slot...

Nicola, smart live gaming? not recommended to play here. so pleased you got paid..

nicola did not understand.
If you do not big win after 1000 spin, what do you do? you stop?
Why do you have to wait a few minutes after 500 spins?
I should play dead or alive on two different platforms?

Reminds me of a guy who had some big wins at the Scary Rich slot(Rival). In the end, he lost heavily and had to admit he had a gambling problem.

If it works than stick to it babe, I see you had nice wins, My self got nothing as just deposit and play, Theres not rearly no formula to win but if it works for you than keep up the wins :)

Im a small roller but after 1 15 depo the other day I was up over 200, may be I should of changed machines instead of chasing ten years worth of haunts, Or I shuld up my bet on new machine as the 200 went on like 30p plays

hi Nicola, its great to hear about your DOA wins and I am also grateful for you choosing to share your winning strategy with us - but at the same time i think its only right to balance what you have written with a little down-to-earth factual information.

Sure, turning 1900EUR into over 16000EUR is an amazing achievement and probably reason enough for some of us to try the things you have suggested ourselves - but not because they are some surefire 'cheat' that will beat the casinos! I don't believe for one moment that you choosing to play in Euros, for example, has had any effect on your good fortune and mentioning it here as an element that has been cruical to your success could easily mislead some of the less informed readers who stumble across this page.

The list of casinos who have paid your chunky DOA wins is definitely extremely useful and I give you big kudos for that! You did not mention if any of those listed count DOA at less than 100pc for wagering? I would assume this means all of the listed casinos count DOA as 100pc for wagering, is that correct?

- So far myself I have only played significant time on DOA at 0.09 or 0.18 per spin, and that is in GBP. I have only had five wilds on a line twice and the five extra spins perhaps five or six times, and whilst I have put a large number of spins through this slot I have not ever deposited and claimed a welcome bonus so far with the intention of specifically hitting this game. My big wins were in the region of x4600 bet and x2400 bet.

- 100% bonuses are no more beatable playing this slot than any other, but if you are lucky and do manage to get five wilds on a line whilst playing, it is very likely you will win enough to make the remaining wagering requirement something of a formality. Nevertheless, you cannot count on hitting such a win no matter how much you deposit, or how much you bet. I know that sounds kind of obvious but I worry people may take from your post that its a sure thing or close to it, and that is obviously, unfortunately, not the case!

- Playing two casinos is definitely a great idea especially on a slot without a 'quick spin' function!

- Likewise, suggesting not to increase your bet size if your running bad is PROBABLY a good idea, though at the same time, if your luck is in you might well hit that crucial big feature on the higher bet and end up with double/triple/more of a win than you would of previously! If you think you need a super win in order to save you, theres nothing wrong with increasing your bet for a couple of hundred spins and hoping for the best!

- Your recommendation to set auto spin at 1000 then possibly take a break if you havent hit by 500 was noted by a couple of previous posters - whilst there is no technical reason to do this in a random slot, I do absolutely understand your reasons for posting it - sometimes you can be just banging through endless amounts of spins and laughing when two scatters drop for the umpteenth time, and it certainly FEELS like the slot is choosing to mug you off at the present time. I do this myself when playing Great Blue over at playtech! Nevertheless, there is no technical reason why a few minutes break should alter your chances of winning - if it makes you feel more positive about your chances though, then do it - I do!

And of course... ABSOLUTELY cash in the moment you meet the wagering requirements if you are in profit, even if it is not all that significant. You can always take your remaining balance to another casino and try again!

I wish you all luck in your search for a massive DOA win ! :)

If slots are truly random and bet sizes make no difference, then no strategy in the world is going to increase your chances of winning, playing, slots. Where a strategy can help, is in table games like blackjack or Video Poker. Other than that, you can stand on your head and rub your tummy but nothing is going to change/increase or otherwise leverage your wins playing slots.

Albeit if you deposit $100 and spend $1 a spin and get an expected 10x in wagering, then that's $1,000 in wagering. But we all know that doesn't always happen. Most times if you get 5x your deposit it's a good session. Either way, my point... reducing your bet size increases spins and the possibility of gaining free spins or bonus round features, which, tend to pay better. A Good win means you can up your bet. But I think that's just common sense and not a strategy per se.

I raise you with the 10 wilds and no wild line that I got yesterday.
