New Slot Announcement Das xBoot by NoLimit City is on its way, Video & details

Chop's idea of what he would've found more fun to use the 20 £5 notes on, and his numerous attempts at cockney lingo 'faacking hell' gave me a chuckle. I think my prob with nlc games is only having two symbols on the first reel, (or 2nd) same reason why I never took to bruce lee, feels harder to get any win.

I don't know who these games are for TBH, they're certainly not for us mere mortals doing normal spins with real money as opposed to streamers with their funded accounts (i.e. pretend money) chucking alleged fortunes at feature buys that cost hundreds of times the stake and mysteriously hitting the top prize on the day of release.

Feature buys are an absolute curse on slot design IMO, one of the worst things to happen to them in a very long time, just plain greed that drives them.

They listed the stats in the NLC thread.
You 'only' need to do 10 000 4-scatter buys on average before you hit the top win.
All in a days work for a streamer.
:p

- Main game: Win cap 1 in 60M, can be hit directly from main game but of course more likely from any free spin.
- Silent Hunter Spins: Direct hit - 1 in 211.
- Wolf Pack Spins: Direct hit - 1 in 14k. Reach max win cap 1 in 10k.

Of course if you plan to hit the top win from landing 4-scatter triggers playing normally, you will have to do on average 140 million spins, so to save time its probably better to invest in the 4-scatter feature buy.

Feature Buys like what NLC have done are designed to grab headlines and focus attention on their slots, and its worked.

I love their design and play pre-deadwood games. I think Das xBoot is a step in the right direction for playability. Gave it a few spins last night and got a bonus for x100, that'll do sometimes. Will play it some more.

San Quentin is a pie in the sky slot designed to put NLC on the tip of players tongues.

Why would you play it when you have a better chance of a big bonus on DOA2.

Know what I would rather chuck my money into personally.

Tried it earlier myself, hit 3 scatters quickly for like a 75x win. Probably will play it again but it is something to not really get excited about IMO in my short time playing.

Seems an ok game and also seems a bit lower volatility than most of their other games. I haven't tried it yet but watched a few lower stakes streamers do ok on it.50x average bonuses like megaways slots all seem to be these days but the biggest deterrent to me is that it gives me vibes of that god awful Beetlejuice slot that I hate.

Landed my first ever max scatter on an nlc slot....played this much against my better judgment

That is some serious filth, alas it's also within expected parameters as the bonus rounds on this game are extremely volatile, and clearly designed for people who are just relentlessly buying them.

I don't think NLC are making games for normal players any longer TBH.

Agreed.
For a micro roller it's just frustrating doing deposits and deposits, to chase a single bonus which pays 5X when finally lands.
(IF lands).

It's a pity I may add, since I admit I love the themes and the mechanics in their slots.

More in general (and here I am not referring specifically to NLC), I believe that this Bonus Buy thing is a extremely dangerous weapon, if given to the wrong persons, thinking both about problematic players and bad casinos.

IMHO, kudos to UKGC having banned it in a very timley manner.

just my 2 cents of course.

Yep, was disgusted to say the least. So unless you have unlimited funds for bonus buys then nlc slots are not for the average player which is a down right shame as their slots are, in general, really good. I like the x ways/nudge etc...but the bonus buys are ridiculous.

Every new release someone "hits" the maximum payout, that is not your average player. You only need to look at the non bonus buy games to see that the maximums haven't been hit before, hot nudge as an example. I do like nlc games, but the bonus buys are infuriating
