So we have a 576-way 6-reeler here which you should find less complex then Mental was. Not as brutal in volatility as previous NLC's but nevertheless capable of 55,200x if you find the Red Devil's Gold!

Das Boot was the fruit machine in the comedy series Phoenix Nights many moons ago!
Yes, the old British war vet who passed away and the German national anthem Deutschland Uber Alles pipes up at his wake as someone won the jackpot on the machine. Unforgettable, I have the DVD of the whole series. I awlays wanted the car alarm you could record your voice onto: "Get back you bastards, get back you bastards!"

Thanx for the video.

At least this is less bonus buy orientated, more like Punk Rocker.

However, bonuses look a frustrating experience..... a common trend now with no limit.

Love this, think it's a pretty amazing game.

10/10 Extreme volatility again, so like being at sea for months and then a quick burst of action. An amazingly produced slot for me, wish I could bonus buy, at least it's not a 1000x stake this time.

To enjoy 90% of NLC games you have to be able to bonus buy IMO.

If you live in the UK I find it hard to see how anybody could tolerate pretty much having no access to the top end potential.

Thanks for the video but I think this will be another pass for me. As noted above NLC's games seem far too driven by the feature buys these days, which are ridiculously volatile and only for those prepared to lose large amounts of cash for zero entertainment in the hope of hitting 67x stake or suchlike (which is effectively what the top prize is).

I wonder what the chances of getting a natural four scatters trigger are, or one could purchase for 350x and get a return of 27x as dunover did there.

This game isn't as grindingly miserable as Mental, which is a small mercy I suppose.

Remember I am NOT given the links by @NolimitCity - Pelle for their games because I'm not a streamer or one of the 'in crowd' plus I have a reputation for telling the truth about what I think of new slots so I get them a couple of days later than those do. I still think Mental is great graphics-wise but that's clearly a 'Marmite' thing. This one I don't find quite as exciting and I think I realize what the main difference is here. In lieu of the 5-scatter buy and by having the 3/4 scatter triggers only and no upgrades, they've effectively built a torpedo feature into the 4-scatter Wolf Pack spins which to me is some kind of equivalence to a 5-scatter trigger.

You'll not fill the torpedo up in the WPS and activate it very often, but you'll definitely need it in order to hit the maximum prize on this slot, just like you would need the 5-scatter features to get a reasonable chance of games like San Quentin and Mental. So your torpedo fill in the WPS is really in variance or slot maths terms the old 5-scatter trigger. You fill the torpedo with say an average of 6 or more xWays/xNudge Wilds under each of the middle 4 reels, you'll get one fucking titanic winning spin as they are only used once. That is where you'll hit the big prizes - don't fill the bugger up and launch it, then you are merely playing a 4-scatter trigger only with an average pay of 5-10% under the 350x it costs.

So the 5-scatter trigger maths is still present, just can't be bought and is tacked onto the 4-scatter WPS feature. I think it makes the game far better for the casual player like you who doesn't buy features as you have a more equal chance to the rest of getting the big pays: your top prize chance is no longer the exclusive domain of the headcase feature buyers.

So the top prize is now 157.7x for feature buyers and 55200x for the players living in reality.

I like the theme and artwork, didn't catch the rtp but assume it's a 96% er, much prefer that to 94% png and microgaming, so will give it a go. But probably stick to 20p/£20 total loss area, otherwise it could get frustrating chasing the features. What was that battleship megaways SG game, that was chronically bad, it sunk without a trace

Check my edit, I think you saw the original 94% only post.

I've given this three hours in demo play in turbo mode this evening, it's not the worst game I've ever played. It can hit reasonably in the base game (I've had a couple in the 200-250x range), and feature frequency, for the three scatters at least, seems reasonable. (The four scatters seems like a pipe dream if not buying features.)

The feature itself is actually kind of OK, although the mechanic of the wild missing on reel 3 starts to irritate. (Or rather, the wild lands, but then the shot to sink the boat misses.)

At least this one has nice clear symbols with vivid colours for the top pays which makes it nice and easy to read what you're looking for, and the reels don't split into 18351542472710135332 x-Ways that are three pixels high. (I'm looking at you, Mental.)

I haven't seen the X-Bomb do anything of interest, although maybe I've just been unlucky, it does seem to be a lot of light and fury, signifying nothing.

Overall not a bad slot, wouldn't entirely rule out playing it with some real funds but once again the extreme volatility and feeling that you're getting a gimped game because it's weighted towards feature buys constantly nags.

Certainly a lot better than Mental, although admittedly that's a pretty low bar to cross.

(I finished up just over 1000x down in pretend money.)
