CWC payment question

I have played at this group for about two years but in the past it was only on rare occasions as I mainly played at JCG and InetBet due to being a VIP and the perks.... well we all know the perks went down the drain along with the CS :(
So I have begun to start playing Club World more as they have outstanding CS and are on top of doing things right as a casino should. I have managed to turn a promotional chip into a cashout and am just now getting all my Doc's in order to send to the cashier
I am curious if they also require a SWIFT code for wire transfers? I know most of the groups do but some don't. I am just trying to figure out my best option as my bank does not carry registration through the swift system and has no swift code ( I live in a very small town and it is a hometown locally owned bank ) Any info would be helpful thanks

PM the rep https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/8317/ Karolina is very helpful. She is probably off for the weekend though.

Whats a Swift card?

I don't know what a swift card is, and they didn't ask me for one. It was a smooth process with no hassles or snags.

I know some banks in the states do have swift codes but it is mostly the big money banks that have branches and other financial holdings abroad.

Yes but the casino does not requre SWIFT codes for sending wires to US I am assuming the wires will be coming from "abroad" after making several trips around european banks
and each adding a fee
Maybe I am wrong now but I know for a fact a few years ago
Thanks for info though I will look into it

I dont think swift codes are applicable to Banks in USA!!

They are.....If your bank accepts foreign wire transfers, they have a SWIFT code....I've used it before, with my previous bank. You just have to dig deep into the bank's website, or find the code via Google...regarding only the "big" banks offering this, that's not entirely true. My bank only has branches in a few northeastern states, but still has a SWIFT code...

And as far as charges, I know each bank is different, but mine was ~$13 (just one charge)

PS: Don't confuse your bank's routing number as the SWIFT code ;) 2 totally different things...

edit: Here's a site I found that lists banks & their swift codes, if they have one:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Please note that not every bank has one. If they don't, then more than likely they don't accept international wires. When in doubt, just call the bank directly and say you need to accept an international wire transfer, and see what they say about how to do it. They have no need to know what its purpose is.

I know every employee at my bank on a personal level.... My town has a population of under 1000 people
Lol. I talked to the president a while back and they do not participate in the SWIFT system as they don't get requests for wire transfers. Like I said small one branch local bank lol... Guess I may have to open an account
In the big city next time I go

If you use a debit card, you can get the payment sent to it for only a $9 fee!

This hasn't been an option for USA players since I started gambling online well over a decade ago....and I doubt it ever has been. UK players can take advantage of this, but I'm not sure about EU, etc.

AFAIK, the "policy" banks have with this is that retailers can refund an already made transaction to a debit card, but can't just send money to it. If that were the case, this option would have been used by casinos for ages.

Hi Aaron21873,

The Bank Transfer option we are using currently require SWIFT code however if your bank do not have SWIFT we should be able to send the funds as long as you can provide Routing Number.

I also sent you a PM, please reply so we can find best cash out option for you.

Kind Regards,
Karolina

Hi winbig,

The card pay out option was introduced couple of years ago and is available for all countries. As long as the card used is regular debit or credit card there shouldn't be a problem to withdraw to the card.

Karolina

Interesting....forgive me for being wrong....I've been out of the loop for awhile.

But, do you guys realize that you're setting people up for the possible closure of their bank accounts/perm suspension of their debit cards? As I posted in another thread, my bank almost did this to me when I had a couple of gaming transactions recently. Their systems detected them automatically and not only did I get an automated call from the fraud department, they also blocked me from using my debit card any further. I ended up getting a stern warning from CS to never do that again, before they re-enabled my card.

Hi winbig,

From my experience not many customers have any issues. The transactions are sent as an OCT, if the card is some sort of a pre-paid or reloadable card then the card issuer may not accept the funds.

OCT?

Is the transfer initiated from an overseas processor?

Hi winbig,

I'm unable to disclose any information about the processing company. Original Credit Transaction (OCT) method credits (pushes) funds to a recipient’s account.

I will have to look into this ECO card....nice to find a place that I can use WU with that only has a $20 minimum desposit. Most places that offer WU have a $50+ minimum...;) Would you guys happen to cover the WU fees? Probably not, but thought I'd ask...lol

If I were to sign up for this ECO card, would I have to wait for it to come in the mail, or is it virtual? Sorry, just getting kind of late and may have missed it on the faq page....

Hi winbig,

EcoCard (Ecopayz) it's not available to US customers. Also we do not offer Western Union at the moment.

I think you are confused a bit. We do offer a cash out to the customer card they managed to use at least once on their account. So if you used / going to use a regular banking card for a deposit we can transfer any winnings back to this card.

Kind Regards,
Karolina

Really? I got to this page from the link on your cashier page.....which says otherwise.....that's where I got WU from, as you can use that to load it....as well as Moneygram...

edit: oops, I told you it was late....lol....I must have googled ecocard and got to the following page:

Hi Karolina,

I am sorry if my comment started something not intended.

Being a long time CWC player, I DO know the "banking & withdrawal" options your sites provide.

I also KNOW that that option (paytocard) has not resulted in problems with members banks.

(very rare)

I did not expect another USA player to challenge this fact, let alone argue the fact with you.

I know you are great at what you do AND you know what you are talking about.

Honestly, I was just trying to help.

Thank you for all you do, Karolina!

1) I wasn't challenging it, I was stating my personal experiences over the course of 10+ years of online gaming. I apologized for being in the wrong, as I've been out of the loop for some time now.

2) Who was arguing? I never pressed the fact any further than my initial views and experiences. How is that arguing?

3) Yes, I may have ran into a rare occurrence with the bank that I deal with, but I seriously doubt it's as rare as one might think. TBH, players can be either plain naive, or just too "green" to know the ins and outs of online gaming, and need to understand the risks that they may potentially run into, and then decide for themselves if they want to move forward or not. The bank I'm with isn't some small town bank. They're pretty large here on the east coast, so if they're doing what I described above, again from my own personal experience, then of course other banks are surely adapting the same procedures.

All in all, players need to be educated so that they understand the risks involved, instead of blindly jumping into something and finding out the consequences of their actions at a later date.

I notice your join date is well after the UIGEA was set in motion. Before you joined CM, did you know that gambling online by US citizens was/is illegal? It'd be interesting to see what % of newbies actually know that it is....

Well, my "join date" has nothing to do with it. If you must know, I have been an on-line player for 16 yrs. So, there's that......

Otherwise, I guess it "appeared" to me that you were arguing ...........

Yes, newbies probably need some guidance in regards to banking practices. I won't argue that fact. CM is the best source of info on the net.
