CWC Deposit Limit Increase

I just received the email that the deposit limit is being increased at CWC to $35. I don't know how I feel about this! I make a bazillion deposits of $21-$26 at a time. $35 really isn't that much of a stretch and yet...it is. I suppose it may help me curb my playing which isn't a bad thing. But...it may make me curb my playing which is a bad thing LOL

Just wondering if there are a lot of folks like me who deposit a lot of small amounts or are most of you a little more high roller?

I don't blame CWC, I imagine getting my 89 $21 deposits in a single day is a bit much. I'm just going to have to rethink my deposit style a little I guess. I also worry that my CC's will decline multiple deposits over $35 more than the deposits under $25. We shall see!

Do you mean 8-9 deposits of $21.00 or do yu really mean 89 lol.
Well, I have not received any e mail as yet but I am surprised a cc would do 89 debits in a day w/out calling
Good Luck deanna!!

Yeah, I just received the email from all of their casinos. The written minimum limits haven't changed yet in the cashier.

I wonder if this applies to all deposit methods?

Ha, I meant 89 $21 deposits...I use a few different cards :)

And it was a bit of an exaggeration but I do actually do 15 or more a day sometimes.

Hi All,

I can confirm that the min $35 deposit per transaction apply for all casinos in our group. The cashier section is going to be amended in couple of minutes. We had to make this changes in a certain order.

Kind Regards,
Karolina

Hi,

I hope this doesn't include paste&pay deposits as well. CWC minimum for that types of deposit is already higher at $20 than other RTG sites and other casinos.

I know it sounds minimal but sometimes $20 is all I can afford at the moment.

I just inquired through Facebook about the raise with minimum deposits using Paste & Pay vouchers...

IMO this is total nonsense. Other than becoming uniform and making ALL deposits a minimum of $35, why in the
world would the minimum deposit using vouchers be $35? Jackpot Capital's minimum us $5.00. I could understand
credit cards being jacked up due to being costly to process for U.S. players but I can't imagine it costs EQUAL or MORE
to process vouchers than it does to process credit cards. What a bunch of hogwash. :icon_evil

Also,

It will make me even less likely to take a deposit bonus. (Maybe they want that)

Usually if and when I take a deposit bonus, I deposit the minimum

because I do not like having deposited money tied to a wagering

requirement. It was hard enough to make wagering on a dep. w/bonus

at the minimum deposit of $21/$20, (depending on method).

Keeping the same wagering requirements at 25x dep. and bonus, i.e.

$35.00 plus 70% = $59.50 X 25 = $1487.50

I struggle when I have about $900 playthrough.

I got 2 e-mails 1 from ALLSTAR and 1 from LUCKYRED and i also play at HIGHNOON so i expect that also to come. I really don,t know how i feel because of the overseas processor,s that some use with the low deposit,s.I already pay over a $1.00 on all of the china processor,s and my bank also hits me for the INT. fee so i end up paying sometimes depending on the amount of the deposit up to $2.00 over what my deposit is?Not that this will hurt me but last week i had only 1 win and i lost over $500.00 and the casino,s are pushing all of the time to make a bigger better bet. This is only wise business sense but it get,s a bit annoying after losing a fair amount my winning,s help with my meager pension from the VA. And to lose after many attempts to win back a small amount the soft ware becomes very predictable and i see when i,am going to lose.So the increase while being a sound buss. decision is maybe a short sighted one.
I have used the P&P sites and i do believe that they all are $35.00 mim. I have used both voucher sites and they both hit me for 35.00 no less but no charge so it has its use,s!Just my humble opinion!Peace Out!Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Jackpot Capital, Intertops Poker, Intertops Casinos (2) and 3Dice all have lower than $35.00.

JPC, Intetops are at $5 and 3Dice is at $10, all with the P&P option anyway.

I like to deposit $42 into P&P and use the bonuses with $21 and $21. Sometimes I hit, sometimes I don't. But I agree, I didn't even think about the higher play through now. Oh boy. I'm toast! It was about time for me to start taking a break anyway, maybe this is my sign.

Hi again.

You know, I have been stewing about this all day!

I guess there are not many players like me, who deposit $20-$25 on average.

I don't know if it will do any good, but you should speak up if you do.

A $35 minimum is almost double the previous minimum.

Especially when they include paste&pay in that minimum.

I am sorry, Karolina, but this is just not fair. Not to the many, many smaller depositors out there.

And to reiterate again, you have competitors who don't have NEAR that minimum requirement w/ paste&pay.

I am just so very bummed about this!

I would chime in here and support CWC, because normally it's the processor increasing the minimums, but when they're increasing P&P limits, well, they're just being greedy (IMO)...

Agreed that it's greed. To be fair Club World, increase the deposit minimum using credit cards to $35
but you guys should definitely keep Paste and Pay minimum deposits at $20 or below.

Your only hurting yourselves by making your loyal $20-$25 depositors play at other U.S. facing accredited casinos with
lower than $35 minimum deposits using Paste and Pay vouchers.

We all know it doesn't cost nearly as much to process vouchers as it does to process credit cards, so let's be real here fellas.

Still love you Club world! But please do what's right.

Hi All,

Thank you very much for your comments and opinions. I do understand some of yours point of view however we did make this business decision based on a lot of factors.

I understand that people are resistant to any change however this should work way better for both parties. The deposits are now consistent across whole group which will avoid any confusions.

Kind Regards,
Karolina

:what:

I see nothing but posts against the increase. How is this working better for both parties? Were the minimum deposit amounts inconsistent before? If so, then why not LOWER the minmum deposit at the casinos in question to match those of CWC?

Very true winbig and here is an even better example as in i made a 35.00 deposit nonP&P last night and it stated after the deposit was made that i would only be billed $39.94 and lo and behold this morning at 3:30am ET my bank statement online shows a charge of $41.57 WOW that is a huge deference from the $39.94 that i was told again it came from the china syndrome! I mean really exactly how many times am i gonna get zapped by this conversion thing its a shame to be hit so hard for playing a casino and the china end are some of the biggest gamblers on the face of the earth! Go to a land locked casino and the SIC-BO and TIA SONG play is HUGE! At any rate there is lot,s of money being made here by all concerned except maybe the most important ones that is the everyday player? So maybe there is a happy medium here somewhere?
I mean true enough we can use the P&P sites but here in the US we are all playing and have been playing $35.00 P&P voucher sites. That has not changed. Some sites do not offer voucher play, not many but some do not.And we are stuck with the often over charge of $1.50 to $2.00 per play of the china syndrome.Who is getting hit here? Don,t get me wrong its like all other item,s that we love we have to pay to get what we want and we do pay. That is a proven fact when beer went up we said NO WAY but we did pay it! And the many other things in mine and your lives that we enjoy? I have often wondered why it is called PLEASURE at all. It is becoming a whole lot more than a pleasure to get what we want anymore will we pay? Very good question i think!Peace Out!Out Of The MIST! shewoff

Hi All,

We realise there is never going to be a positive reaction to raising our deposit limits, we are asking you the customer for more money, it feels like our prices have jumped up.

In reality we don’t want any more money from you, we just want to change depositing behaviour. The vast majority of customers who did deposit $21, did so 2 or more times in a session.

Our ability to take deposits under $35 is limited at the current time, so there is a significantly higher probability of a $35 deposit being approved as opposed to a $21 deposit.

We are taking all the negative feedback on board and keeping the situation under review, but we have to balance this against the ability to take deposits from customers.

Kind Regards,
Karolina

I have played at CWC, Lucky Red, and Buzzluck. I remember all three of those having the same limits. CC and voucher. So, you are implying the OTHER four in the group had different limits? Don't think I buy that. And the confusion theory? Who's confused?

The ONLY way this will be "way better" for me is I will be spending even less in your casinos.

P.S. So nice to see that you waited until after your "10th birthday celebration" at least.

So now, they'll be depositing $70 instead of $42....

If it's so limited, why are other RTG casinos that offer the same deposit options keeping their minimum limit at $21? I see it all over the place....and we're talking NON-CC/Debit purchases such as P&P. And as far as "significantly higher probability of a $35 deposit being approved as opposed to a $21 deposit." goes, :what: I've NEVER had a deposit declined (even for the mear amount of $12) at an online casino OR poker room because it was under a certain threshold. If P&P were to start declining voucher purchases that were < $35, then this change would be made at ALL RTG casinos, not just yours.

Sorry, but I don't buy these excuses for one second.

As you can see, this "business decision" is coming around to bite you guys...

One more thing. How is a typical wagering balance of say $850-$900, changed to a wagering balance of $1400-$1500, going to work out "way better" for us?
