Hey everyone,

I got my stats from allstarslots and I was curious what you guys think. I never really got into the numbers aspect of gambling so it was basically hot or cold streaks to me.

I feel like my time there has been pretty darn unlucky, soooo is this what to expect. I was curious and asked for my stats hoping you guys could maybe help explain it.

Im guessing they are a little sucky because they gave me a free chip lol

Thanks :D

Ok, for your stats: Your RTP % for Slots is 80%, the total amount wagered is $5,987, total deposits you have made is $933, you have cashed out $211 and your net cash win for slots is $965

Please note that the stats above are from your all time scores, as you opened your account at the beginning of this year.

As I can see that your game play has not been great, and you have not been very lucky, I have credited your account with a $50 free chip. I have also created you a 100% deposit match code for you to play all games with no maximum cash out.

Just out of curiosity, what size bets do you usually make on the slots per spin?

I consider myself a regular depositor but a lowroller. .20-.40

If I am up then I will up it to 1-1.50

When I won a random jackpot last spring, at the time it hit I was betting $7.50 per spin only because that meter at the top was going crazy and I just had a feeling.

hi Beth,
Havn't been on much recently because I also have bad vibes lately. And when I don't gamble I don't log into Casinomeister. Logged into my fave 3dice tonight after a spell for a bit. Didn't ask my stats but went throuigh my history and found all bad news of which I already knew. After mentioning it in chat, Andrea very kindly threw me a freebie too but nothing seems to help...not so lol...but lol...

I asked if time difference makes a difference and was assured not at all but it has to ..You can test that by other casinos to see how often jackpots go off at certain times of the day, where ever you may be..It's been a looong time for me and just not feeling the love..I was a big depositor there for so long . Sometimes 3 to 500 per week for a long enough period but not any more..
. Last 3 months only minimal of 20 per week and not a glimps of luck... I will go back again during the christmas promos..I think there they are saving big wins up till chrissy maybe same at allstarslots.....I only play at 3 online now.. Good luck to you Beth hope all is well on the home front.. :))

I'm no expert, but I'd say they were poor, but not surprisingly poor, especially given your usual bet size (i.e. a small sample for that kind of bankroll).

What often surprises me what feels like such poor returns turns out to be as high as it is. Kind of feels like when $1000 in deposits and one $200 is around 20% RTP, when that's not it at all.

If that is your first "sorry your luck has been bad" chip, I think they could have been a little more generous. I'd include cashback promos as part of that.

If not, pretty decent IMO.

I don't want to derail the thread (followed by me derailling the thread), but is it really important? I'd hate to see the amount of emotional drain gambling took on you take hold again. It can do that without you losing a nickle on it. Please accept that it's concern not criticism, and only a question to ask yourself.

I am not sure what these numbers mean either but your figure is a hell of alot better then mine for a month. Now this is from a few months ago but my RTP for unLuckyRed, errr LuckyRed was 74.8% and for Buzzluck was 61.6%

I really believe it comes down to pure luck, you just have to be the lucky one to hit the spin button at the right time. I don't care if your playing RTG, Microgame or 3dice, the 1 off syndrome is running rampid, it takes many many spins to get a feature, and just the other day I finally got a feature on T-Rex and got nothing! Not even my bet back. In the past 3 months I was playing at Club World group and 7 times now I was playing a slot and someone hit the jackpot. Talk about rotten luck, becasue it wasn't me that hit it lol.

The Holidays are coming, so my play time will end now because all the money that I would use to gamble with I will put towards the turkeys and hams that my family buys for the people in need and gas to deliver them all. And to be honest, it is more enjoyable delivering these meals and gifts then gambling anyway.

Walk away again Jennifer, and don't look back. You know you can do it, you already have for a period of time. This time make if forever.

Turn right, then right. then right again
It is impossible to make any kind of assessment in regards to the games based on such a tiny sample I.e. ~6000 spins.

Your RTP is well within the realm of "normal" based on these figures.

I'm a little confused about the "net cash win" figure. Is it suggesting that you received several bonuses? Maybe I'm not thinking straight its 8am after all LOL.

I also think that ~$6000 wagering from ~$1000 in deposits is very low. Did you always take a match bonus? What was your usual deposit?

lol yeah sorry I obv dont know what it means either.

I think most of the times I took a bonus and my deposits were 2 $50 deposits.. 1 $400.00 deposit..1 $200 deposit...$118 deposit..$100 deposit..looking at the history I didnt take a bonus on the $400

Super noobish question, can you tell me exactly what RTP means

Borrowed this from a site :)

Return to Player (RTP)

Return to Player (RTP) is the term casinos use to describe the percentage of all the wagered money a VLT or slot machine will pay back to players over time. For example, if you make a hundred $1 bets on a machine on which the RTP is 90%, you might expect to get back about $90 in wins. Of course, both house advantage and RTP are generally calculated over the long term. Almost anything can happen in the short term (see Short Term Volatility versus Long Term Predictability), so you should only ever bet with money you're prepared to lose.
You may have already noticed that RTP is really just the flip side of house advantage. If a machine has a 20% house advantage, then the average RTP will be 80%, meaning that over time the machine will keep about 20% of all money bet and will return the other 80% to players in wins.

OT for a sec, are you referring to the Jackpot Meter? if so take absolutely no notice of how fast it is moving, it can move extremely fast or not at all this is a well known graphical glitch with RTG and nothing to with the jackpot itself.

As for your feeling though it must have been right  and I have no explanation for phenomenal activities :notworthy

When I saw the name "Jennifer" then the title "Curious as to what you guys think about my stats", I thought you were being a tease about your figure, "stats" in the sense of bust-waist-hip measurements. Such disappointment! :D

This is exactly correct. You would need to play here over the course of a very long time and keep making the same bets/ betsize in order to really get an accurate picture. That is within the range of normal. Is it lucky? nope. Is it really horrible bad and indicate cheating ? absolutely not. I would just say relax and enjoy the game. Your luck will come around.

Hi Jennifer
Your post makes me sad to read when casino CS are unaware of the industry/product they work with. Its a typical example of a casino support agent who has no idea what they are writing and aware of the responses they can provoke. However, for no reason they have kindly given you 50 for free, no wagering attached and promised to match you next deposit but the true value of this gesture will depend on T&C's and wagering requirements. It's not warranted in my opinion and more a marketing ploy than any guilt on their part. More likely the reason due to the shift supervisor believing they have reassured any concerns you may have but in my opinion have actually created more concern!

"Ok, for your stats: Your RTP % for Slots is 80%, the total amount wagered is $5,987, total deposits you have made is $933, you have cashed out $211 and your net cash win for slots is $965

FIRSTLY, and most importantly the casino need to state how many spins you have made. Conducting any analysis without this info is totally pointless.
Taking into account your 6k wagering this is no way enough for a sample analysis.

Secondly, how many winning spins did you receive? this should be around 25 to 35% of your spins made . If so, then the game is functioning correctly.

RTP = Returns To Player. In theory, if deposit 500 then you will reach 9500 in wagering to give you a 95% RTP.
However, you could recieve a jackpot on your first few spins which will throw your RTP out the window. The RTP is only a true % after many 100'000 spins.

Finally, I feel they should have quoted the bonuses received as well and explain how they arrived at their figures. The only reason they haven't is the casino CS doesn't know.

That equates to a little over 7000 spins and is what an average player spins in one session. If you were playing high variance games like Count Spectacular or T-Rex and your features paid poorly an 80%rtp cannot be deemed as very poor.

The casino regulates the speed at which the numbers turn

I was told years ago by iNetBet that the numbers and the speed at which they turn are regulated by the casinos, whether fast or slow.

It is funny how many players think, that if it's spinning fast, that it's going to trigger the jackpot, Not so.

I remember one time I was on with chat (a different RTG, not iNetbet) saying hurry, hurry and process my deposit the numbers are spinning so fast I know I am going to win on that game and get the random. LOL Chat probably laughed all night, of course I did not get the random.

Slots

Slots are meant to be played for fun and not for a living. It's tough to grind out consistent profits from a slot machine.

This is why professional gamblers focus on games with low house advantage like baccarat, blackjack, craps, pai gow poker, spanish 21.Even poker with perfect play, can lead to a strong return on investment.Same with sports betting if done so correctly.

How far is a physical casino from you Jennifer? You may enjoy that experience more, and even get some better payouts from slot machines.

Do more research online, and you'll enjoy gambling more.

If it's profit you're looking for, consider learning how to invest in financial markets more, as that can be a gamble too. It's a different type of rush, but you may like it.

All the best.

What sort of Return To Player are they claiming, and (if they release it,) what Variance? With those numbers and the ones you provided (amount played, amount won, average spin amount) it's possible to calculate something like "One run in xxx will be that bad." If that xxx number is something ridiculous, say, a million, then it's reasonable to suspect fraud. If it's something like 1000, then that's the stuff casinos/gamblers see all the time.

I once had a player that had a run so bad that it seemed like a definite software bug. RTP was barely over 50%, and on a significant number (100's?) of spins. After a considerable amount of simulation on that particular game, I determined that it was variance, a 1-in-8000 event. Historical return for that game now is 98.5% (expected return is 95%), and that's over 300k spins! So, variance can do crazy things to your balance, both up and down.

Yeah Im not sure how much is a good sample size..100,000...50,000 I have no idea. My spins are probably upwards of 20,000 now and the IT team is updating my stats for me every 10,000 spins. Im very curious to see how the numbers play out. I know at one point my rtp% dipped down to 78.7%...Still unsure of whether thats expected or not but either way this is all about learning how numbers work

Also 79% of my play has been on medium volatile slots, 16% on low volatile and 15% on high.

Anyways the support and VIP host there have tried to do their best to get me out of this funk by offering me free chips often. 15x wagering and the last few days $15 free chip with x2 wagering. I think they understand Im running a little crappy and are trying to brighten my day!

Hoping you have better luck!!! And when you do, RUN LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL!!!!!:D
