Curacao Vs BTG

Leading gaming regulators based in Curacao have decided to take Big Time Gaming on. This is as a result of a 32 Spin feature that a UK player experienced on the popular slot Bonanza Megaways. A Curacao union spokesperson said: "We pride ourselves in offering games that do not give people the impression that multipliers and free spins are unlimited. Big Time Gaming have been misleading players since 2017 with their 'potential'. BTG have actually removed the scatters on our versions, but continue to supply UKGC licenced casinos with fake +5's. These extra scatters will push UK players away from our brands and back into the regulated UK market."

BTG retaliated almost immediately by posting a genuine screen shot of a base game hit of 14 000x. BTG later posted an online statement saying: "We have been supplying extra +5 scatters to the UKGC for years. They believe that it makes no difference to add extra scatters as the math of our slots make it impossible to win. If a player is in the bonus round or base game, our results are capped and compensated to 500x. We have run a lot of simulations and only use those screenshots on forums for marketing purposes. They are genuine hits on the original slot which we pulled after someone won 1000x".

The war between BTG and Curacao looks set to rage on for some time. Curacao believes that BTG have given the UKGC licencee's an unfair advantage. BTG on the other hand, are quite adamant that their scatters are just for show. Our gaming reporter attempted to contact the top brass at BTG once more this week. We were advised by their offices that management were on a photoshop course. This is a developing story...
