Is it just me or is the UK daytime streamer known as nickslots on youtube, the most cringey streamer ever asking people to sign up through his link every 3-5 mins for 4 hours straight, then harassing people to upload ID immediately and claiming they have something to hide if they don't, instead of just saying I need you verified otherwise I don't get my referral fee's for you!

It's certainly not how I remember the good old streams in the beginning where your rooting for the player to win and having a laugh, its all about joining up through this link and trying to start donation trains. It's actually put me off playing at Rizk for the time being as something does not feel rite about it, it's like some sort of dictator preaching to the low intelligence and grooming them to do what he wants lol

Anyway, just thought Id mention it as it's bound to start gambling problems for many who dont understand that you dont always win like the streamer does, just makes me feel like the industry is and will get a dirtier name because of a few of these business streams, anyway, back to work!

I am watching his stream as I type this. He is right what he said and gave some good advice, that is to send documents in as soon as you sign up

He plays at different casinos and this week it is Rizk. I would not be put off playing at Rizk because he streams his play there - they are a solid outfit and are accredited here with a very high score.

And you can't blame him (or any other streamer) for starting somebodies gambling problem. That is saying that this forum does the same with all the winner screen shots and videos.

I have not seen this guy and I am very unlikely to, but if the OP is correct then I would suggest that this streamer's way of making money and this forums way of making money are a million miles apart. You could argue that winner screenshots do have a way of encouraging others to dare themselves, but almost none are posted by Casinomeister or any of the admins - mainly because we never manage to win big enough :)

There is no other place like it on the internet that allows people to voice their concerns about casinos, investigate dodgy practices or seek advice from other gamblers in the way this forum does. I have no reason to defend this forum, other than the owner is my friend, but I know full well that Casinomeister Forum and nickslots streamer channel are not two of the same thing.

I'd have to disagree that it's the same as the forum as it's being shoved down peoples throats and giving some the wrong impression, I know as they have messaged me to ask if I always win and what games to play to make some money. The existing gambling community is quite large on youtube and I'm not the only one that feels the streams just for affiliation are going a step too far. I mean who plays everyday for at least 4 hours during work hours? It's targeting the Jeremy Kyle generation and will end in tears just like the fobt's have. Thats my opinion anyway

Let's hope he gives up soon, as harassment and coercion generally leads to followers disappearing.

You have to be pretty devoid of interesting things to do if watching some twat play slots all day. If the streams were anything representative of actual slot play then I'd rather get my partner to waterboard me or remove my teeth with a spoon.

Watching the occasional bout of someone playing video games is one thing, but slots......nah.

The only way this can be watchable is via a deluge of eye-popping wins, which we know doesn't actually happen and is therefore not indicative of 'real' play.

Shilly dodginess abounds as far as I can see with most of these, erm, E-slotters? E-athletes??

I love watching the winner video's in here. But usually I wait until I have a quiet time once or twice a week and catch up on them. I love watching genuine winners. Sometimes I wonder if there is an association with a casino which is mutually beneficial

At the end of the day, they (successful streamers and Casinomeister) are both affiliates making a pretty penny directing would be gamblers to casinos. One does it by playing slots, the other does it via providing a means to select a casino and building a community.

Have you actually watched any of this streams? I can't see any harassment or coercion at all.

Strange how everybody just takes the OP's word for granted yet hasn't watched his stream. Not a sure way of drawing the right conclusion in my opinion.

fick slots or i mean nickslots

i see the first streams of this guy. what a hillbilly. never played slots bevore. its a hillbilly. suggests that one can always win. :puke:

Streamers such as CasinoTwitcher and LetsGiveItASpin are very knowledgeable about slot machines and can give you advice on which machines to play, RTG and how much you should bet. However, I agree there are too many "blokes just playing slots" streams out there.

As a non-drinker, I do question Twitch allowing people to get drunk on their streams. Kids could be watching this. All the big names are openly drinking booze the whole time or occasionally in CT's case. Nick and Rex do their streams sober, as far as I know.

Also, some of the ridiculous things they want donations for. One streamer wants "new boobs".

Considering that American television is absolute shit, I'd rather watch these streamers over something on CBS. I doubt television in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandanavia or Australia is much better.

While I've personally more or less lost all interest in slot streams (mostly due to the "fake money" situation), I feel that a lot of the bashing in this thread is not quite justified. Watching someone play slots is not that much different than watching someone play video games - it's less about what's being played and more about the overall social experience. These streamers have actual personalities, and are often more than happy to interact with viewers, have discussions regarding slots, gambling problems/habits, and more. I can't speak about the streamer in question since I'm not very familiar with him, but there's several players on Twitch who are genuinely nice and friendly people, and they certainly don't deserve to be associated with the problematic streamers.

I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but there's no point in bashing something that a lot of people enjoy for very valid reasons. Just my two cents.

I think most, if not all, of these streams are marked as "adult only" so children shouldn't be watching them. I know that this in reality doesn't happen but you can't blame Twitch / Youtube for it.

My videos are for CM members entertainment and nothing more.

They are more so aimed at low rollers such as myself and as a reassurance for newbie that these big/decent hits are possible.

It is extremely unlikely I would ever go as far as streaming, although I do watch from time to time, usually getting bored after 5-10 minutes.

No affiliation with anyone or anything and all videos are 100% my own funds risked. Probably why I post to 'Videos that Suck' so often :p

At the end of the day he runs a business which is, in essence, to earn money as an affiliate. How he does that is up to him to a certain extent, you may feel that asking people to sign up every 3-5 minutes is cringeworthy and maybe it is maybe it isnt but, i guess, he has to strike a balance between mentioning it too much and not mentioning it at all.

I have personally watched 3 of his streams this week as we absolutely WILL NOT allow any person that is streaming in conjunction with Rizk to misrepresent us or gambling in general and in my opinion he doesnt do this, he is very clear that you do not always win and i havent heard anything that he has to say as misrepresentative, and he certainly doesnt win all the time. He does give out very good advice in terms of getting your account verified early - this avoids so many of the problems that we see around the forum these days.

Whether you like him or not is purely a matter of opinion - i am not aware of any twitcher/streamer that appeals to every viewer all of the time.

Now you are the one generalizing. I merely stated that i never did nor ever will watch a live streamer. Never judged the one in question nor took the OP's word for granted.

There is nowadays an audience for virtually everything imaginable and with that for slots streaming too. That some people found this to be a way to make a living, well fair play to them. The beauty of the internet is you can just close the page you are visiting if you don't like what you see.

At the end of the day Streaming is just another marketing campaign, partially or wholly financed by the casinos as it seems to be profitable for them.

Either way, not my cup of tea, hence a streamer won't see me watching him/her, nor becoming a follower.

I fully agree, lots of lovely streamers and they don't deserve to be associated with any negativity. Theres also lots of very young watchers and/or very uneducated and these are the people that will do there balls in on fixed odds betting terminals and fruit machines and it seems some streams are targeting "these" sort of people running there streams during work hours.

I watched letsgiveitaspin late last night and it was a great stream with a great comeback, just 2 gamblers gambling and having a laugh, how it should be in my opinion.

Please don't take it personal. It wasn't you that was making not so nice comments about this steamer so it wasn't directed at you.

Wow, time to move on from this streamer. I am sure he will sleep tonight, as he probably has no idea this conversation is going on.

If he does ever see this thread then he will likely be happy, along with other streamers, for the amount of publicity they have gained from all this chat about them.
