This popped up on my yahoo page today, I was thinking about the conversation we had a few weeks ago.

There hasn't been a eureka moment yet. But Phoenix turned up a promising lead last week when it uncovered what scientists believe are ice flecks in one trench and an icy layer in another.

Scientists hope experiments by the lander will reveal whether the ice has ever melted and whether there are any organic, or carbon-containing, compounds.

There has been speculation that around three billion years ago, microbes could have been blasted from the Martian soil from meteors only to end up sprinkled on earth.

So perhaps we're the real Martians :D

Hmmmm, maybe we are *scratching chin* :D

Hey Casinomeister.......my husband was so interested in your comments and books that you said to read, he wanted me (I haven't done it yet  ) to find him those books so he can read them.
