I didn't realise old Dick was still around in the sporting scene, thought he'd worn himself out years ago
Yeah, he's not around that often. He sort of comes and goesI didn't realise old Dick was still around in the sporting scene, thought he'd worn himself out years ago
It's easy really. Just quarantine anyone that's come back from travelling in the last month. Ta-da
Either, any, all. Hope that clears up the confusionJust travelling anywhere or any of the current hotspots? In the former case half the country might be on its arse...

He's a swell guy alright, but lacks ballsHe's a real stand up guy.
Well let me tell you this today I was in a room with 100 GP's and nurses and the person in my office who organised the event said to me "I don't feel well today". *cough cough*
Bear in mind this woman has a child who went on a holiday to Italy last week and is now in school ordered quarantine at home.
Either we will all be fine or you could be reading this with a huge scandal that could break if it turns out that she had infected half of the GP's in the town and they end up in two weeks quarantine.
Ive never needed much of an excuse to bunk off work. Whats wrong with some people, why not just quarantine the family and relax, read books, play music, films, slots etc.
There's an unfortunate 'stiff upper lip' trait here in the UK which, all it has done has ensure we work more hours on average than most countries and have less public holidays. Go figure.
I actually get a great feeling when i am working flat out or have pushed myself to my limits. I quite like the stiff upper lip trait but 'work hard, play hard' is a better fit for the soul i think.
need To adopt the Swedish model to working; Kroffes on here so much that he must only punch in 15 hours a week at work
we still have a mindset in this country, though it’s slowly changing I think, is that employees arses need to be on their seats in work to be ‘seen’ to be working and that if you work longer you’re working harder or better etc
My jobs such that if I do what I need to do I’m off at 230pm, work to 9pm one night, take half day the next day etc; quite lucky in that respect as some of my pals are still working under 80s micro managers. Oh, 3 minutes late, to HR you go? Piss off

I dont remember where i saw this, probably reddit.A bit controversial but what do you think of the equality directive?
I've always thought the best person for the job is the best person regardless of race, colour, sexual preference or any other quality unrelated to the work.
I see that in itself as equality gone mad. Its fundamentally flawed and beggars belief that its progress, in my opinion.
Things should be awarded based on merit, not bleeding heart inclusivity for the sake of some faux-equality, that applies to pretty much most things, and certainly positions of responsibility
It's just that, a utopian pipe-dream that humans will never attain so long as there's humans around. And for every generation that seems to be making strides in the right direction, along come the next to repeat the same human mistakes. To me equality means everbody equal and seeing everyone as one family i.e. the human race.
For the benefit of the human race when considering the utopia of - everyone is equal - then the best person for the sake of equality should be based as you say, on merit.
Bruce Lee - Under the sky we are all one family

So ultimately the only advancement has and always will be survival of the fittest and best man for the job so to speak, and the only guaranteed thing
If you like kung-fu movies you should watch Ip Man.
Not all of them tho..
