Coral - 1p's disappearing on slots!

I've noticed the same on Bwin, which is also part of the GVC group. I'm not sure what all this is about but it's noticeable once you've seen it and it's something that should be looked into. Alot of 1c/p makes alot of money in the end and that's the point.

To be fair, if this is happening this could be quite damaging for them and another case for the UKGC. They already had one scandal with their fake RTP helpfiles

@Playford7 When Marks & Spencer rounded up their prices, i.e exactly £10 rather than £9.99, the 1st year they did so they made an extra £3 million with no loss in expected sales. If every player is being robbed of a penny every 20 spins or so it is a huge amount of extra profit being creamed offf by the casinos.
Hardly small bucks.. and this under the radar robbery which can affect every player is pretty damn disgusting.
Yes- it only pennies - but if it a lot of them......

The fact that it's 1p would point to a simple rounding error. In which case the money isn't being lost or added up.

But there is no rounding to be done if the possible values from the win table are all exact multiples of 2p.

Therefore if a starting balance on such a slot is an even number, the remaining balance after any period of play should always also be an even number.

To an large extent it doesn't matter if the error is the odd penny, pound, or more - it's the fact that the slot is apparently getting its numbers wrong that's the concern.

Exactly as someone else has said playing at 40p there cannot be an odd number. I first saw it at £2 stake where all wins are a multiple of 10p so there cannot be a win where it's anything but a 0 on the end. See the video link for proof win of 9.20 9.19 reported to balance

From what I can make out it's roughly 10p per hour and so far I have only seen it in inspired/igt(sg gaming) slots

The error won't be in the slot payouts.

Multiple slot providers getting their sums wrong on only one company's sites doesn't make any sense. Logic dictates the issue is with the site.

I had this happen to me the other day on Play N Go but can't remember where. I only noticed as I was playing 20p single line Book of Dead and I noticed my balance was xx.19, which was impossible as it started at an exact £. Can't remember where it was though, quite possibly Ladcrookes.
I get people saying it's only a penny, but if its on one of the biggest groups in the world, there could easily be 10000 people paying at a time. If it happens a couple of times an hour, could easily be a few grand a day they are skimming from customers.

Not tried play n go yet

Doesnt matter if its just a penny. Personally, I care and i dont even play at Corals.

Something seriously wrong if some slots are taking pennies considering the mathematical expertise and rigorous testing behind them. I assume these slots have gone through their testing so the test houses either didnt notice or its happened after testing which means the program or process is faulty doesnt it?

'Its only a penny' and 'who really cares' is the kind of attitude i would expect from a rogue casino or operation knowingly carrying out the activity.

Not saying this is the case but have they noticed and taken the same attitude or are they knowingly doing it?

This could be thousands of pounds taken each and every day! Who cares? Let the casinos have it yeh? meh.....

It will be the accounting system at GVC and not the games causing it.
Let me email someone at GVC see what they say.

You would have thought that kind of thing would be foolproof, only adjustable with the click of a button.......my thoughts anyway :)

Would'nt surprise me if they take a couple of months to rectify it like they did their RTP help files. Absolutely scandalous......no other way to describe them and to think their a huge company. Its the kind of mistakes only small casinos can make and play dumb - I could half believe it, but Corals!

I will stop myself there as they might surprise me and rectify immediately :)

well it looks like they have rectified it (on my account anyways) as i have put a couple of hundred spins through and its not happened, but as i say i saw it happen to rolla last night at ladcrooks so now is the time if someone else can test it to see it its just a "feature" they can turn on and off as i caught them out and sent them proof

16:58 Taken from Beetlejuice Megaways
+2.29 GBP
18/01/2021 CASINO
Initial balance: 12.6

Final balance: 14.89

£1 stake so all wins must be a 5p multiple

I've seen something like this before. Might have been one of their sites. The balance in some games was 1p less than the balance showing on the site. Check your main balance on the site

done that and main balance is missing the 1p , i know what you mean about the main balance it used to happen a lot on microgaming slots when there was not a whole £ win

If anyone is taking more money than they should do from you especially on multiple occasions then it shouldn't be allowed to go on. Regardless of the amount.

I would check, but I got banned from Coral’s a long time ago. Something about a business decision or something...

Me:- Took a few bonuses,
Me:- won.
Coral:- Spat dummy out.
Account closed.

Rob :D
Sounds similar to me! That and Gala but Ladbrokes apparently is ok! I tried to sort it once, had to call, guy didn't know why I was banned and reopened my account and then it was blocked again .

Missed you around Rob. We never got that 40th trip to Vegas! Hoping next year maybe! How's the alpacas?
