Hi i dont post here often, but, have had a right good read of hundreds of posts from newbies, moderators, trolls, addicts and whatever else!!!!!! I'm sat here wondering of a good strategy to stretch my bankroll playing online slots. I usually, almost, religiously make a small deposit at good old Willy Hills and play Lotto Madness, in the hope of hitting the magical 20 spins x 10 free spins, but, usually 49 times out of 50 dont hit.

Anyway i then move onto 32 Red with my £20 deposit, take my bonus and engage in trying to beat Immortal Romance (which dosen't happen very often). I suppose i want advice from experienced gamblers really as im well of truly sick of killing my deposits and sitting there deflated wishing i'd watched a film instead!!!! I always accept my losses but have any of you fellow low rollers found a formula to stretch out a deposit, so, at least 1 hours gaming from a single small deposit becomes a reality with hopefully a few thrills along the way.

I know my strategy isnt winning after checking my playcheck, £1200 deposits and no withdrawal 32 Red, £800 down the pan with William Hill and surprisingly £270 profit from Ladbrokes, i've thought about changing the games i play, after all theres 100's to choose from but i seem hypnotically sucked back into my old games which obviously looking at what ive lost isn't working to well for me.

I am in no way dissing 32Red, in the past ive hit for some phat wins, but none since May last year (gulp)

Any tips, sarcasm not appreciated but constructive advice appreciated, ive thought maybe of playing a set number of spins on a selection of random slots, picked blind folded and clicking hahah, thanks for taking the time to reads this fellow members, i hope it makes some sense and i welcome some better strategy to maybe slow down the losses, or, just win it all back with one fantastic spin!!!!!! Thanks

Well the lowest bet possible on Immortal Romance is 30p, so why not save yourself 3p a spin (soon adds up!) and play one of the classic 9-liners at 27p a spin instead?
Tally Ho, Break da Bank Again, Thunderstruck 1, Adventure Palace, Agent Jane Blond, Ladies Night...

Any one of those can give you loads of play time if it's in the right mood. Plenty of free spins, and some really big wins even on 27p a spin.
Be careful of BdBA which can decimate any balance at any bet, but the chance of huge wins is always there.

From my experience (though somewhat limited) I have my best success when I play different slot types every session. Theres no real strategy when luck is involved though so on a $20 deposit (my usual deposit) what I am looking for is play time. There will be days I will deposit up to $100 in $20 increments at different casinos and other days only $20 for the day.

If I get alot of game time on one $20 deposit for the day (game time as in 1 hr - 2hr) I will consider it a good day regardless if I win or lose (obviously better to hit the withdraw button). Other days I make multiple small deposits that give me crap all game time but thats the nature of it. I think its good to have a select few favourite slots that you will play but you can't play them everyday - or even every week in my opinion. If all I did was play immortal romance (which I could very much do as I love that slot) I'm sure I would be losing out quite alot so my preference these days is to play slots that I have never played before or slots I have enjoyed playing in the past that I happy to play every week or every 2 weeks.

There are so many good slots from so many different providers you can potential cycle through them on a monthly basis if you choose. One good day playing microgaming slots for example tends to mean the next session will be busts (in my case anyway) so I like to jump around different providers to maximise my game time - and for the most part it has been working for me this year. You can always just try different things and see what works best for you and your 'slotting' style.

Also would like to add if you are going to deposit $20 32red is pretty decent with their loyalty points but have you considered playing at other places like Guts and VideoSlots? On Thursday Guts has promotion for $20 deposit that gives 10 free spins the next 3 consecutive days for a chosen game wager free! Videoslots has (in my opinion) the best low-roller friendly leaderboard + cashback promotion meaning you will get rewarded if you play there as long as you have decently good playtime (rewarded twice a week in cash wager free - best to look it up).

There are other places like Guts/Videoslots but for a $20 deposit I would say these 2 casinos have the best promotions and not to mention a wider variety of online slots. However if you just want to stick to microgaming, on $20 deposit I usually play Lucky Witch and Fat Lady Sings - those 2 slots have given me great playtime on low balances. Good luck!

I would suggest same as Valhalla, spot on!!

Love the '9-liners' and I play them virtually every deposit without fail.

You could go one step further and actually play these games at 18p or even 9p, sure your probably not going to get the 'buzz' of a massive win but I've made my deposits last AGES on these sort of stakes on the games mentioned above.

You can still get a good hit once in a blue moon tho too, some examples below

    *Thunderstruck (18p) - £288 - 5 scatters during FS
    *Thunderstruck (9p) - £72 - 4 wild + other wins during FS
    * AJB (18p) - £135 - several 're-triggers' plus 5OAK top symbol
    * Adventure Palace (my fave) 5OAK Monkey/Tiger during FS few times

Plus loads of features around the £30-£50 on these stakes, granted they usually range from £2 - £10 but its extended my play time and 'rescued' me so i can return to 243 way games etc many a time :)

Like others mentioned, the best strategy is to stay the hell away from the likes of Immortal Romance or other 243 line balance cleaners, until you have a decent bankroll. I personally wouldn't touch these slots with less than € 100.

Try different slots, I'd go for Play'n'Go with lower balance. Their games have a .15 min bet and can pay well. Enchanted Meadow, Dragon Ship, Ninja Fruits and so on.

    Gidday Mate ,

Ok ill give you a couple of tips :)

    1. Play with a bonus .

    2. Play games that are running HOT i.e the RTP percentage is rising : Microgaming downloadable clients show you the heat of the slot games to help you gage it ...others like netent
will be labeled as hot ..try those and if it hits big pull and move games ..better yet if your out of WGR cash out and walk away .

    3. Set Yourself a Roof and a Floor the Maximum your prepared to try and win and the lowest your prepared to loose ..that is if your up.. gotta get there first :) .

    4. Play low Volatility slots A high volatility slot will have a low hit frequency : To estimate the relative hit frequency of a machine from its paytable, check the value of the lowest reward on the paytable. As a general rule, the higher the lowest reward on the paytable, the lower the hit frequency of the slot.

    5. Hit New Games Which are Running HOT .

    All the Best Player .

    -W

    p.s

If you know what the house edge is for a slot you will know what the average rtp is for that slot ..this can help with knowing which games to "kick-off" from *tips hat*
    have a good one.

Mean's the RNG is cycling faster and the hit frequency is increased whilst under"hot" conditions ...though this is also based on the Volatility of the slot in question
...Hotter the game better the chances .

By and large, the most playtime I get for my deposit seems to be at 3Dice casino. I typically deposit $50 there and I will often get 4 or more hours playtime stretched over 2 days. Play a lot of Supersuits for $0.15/spin, Tutankhamen for $0.25/spin, Medieval Moolah for $0.30/spin.

A lot of people claim they get little playtime at 3Dice but I don't see it.

The games are mostly high variance so the hit potential is definitely there.

    Best of luck to you.

    Greetings Vinylweatherman ,

Expand on Bollocks (English term love it btw) and ill be happy to have a friendly debate with you
also to a certain degree I admit a bit of arrogance theory and probability are just that without
    being proven.

I think he was alluding to the fact that the so-called heat meters or other denotations that are supposed to tell you when a slot is hot can only tell you what the slot has done up to that point and gives zero indication of what it may do afterwards.

    And

'New' games will play the same when they are new or old.

    Hi Bigjohn ,

Yes I tend to Agree the fact that a game maybe running hot is not a definite "your going to hit big or win" and at the end of the day the RNG is the "One ring to rule them all"
things are completely random though there is debate out there on the subject but I'm not going to expand on the theory of speculation one will always have their good
days and their bad but the good gambler knows if their positive or negative and when its time to hang the guns up so to speak.

And yes most definitely New Games will play the same if they are new or old they are all subject to wheather ...the RNG is in a good mood or a bad mood..dam i hate it when
its in a bad mood maybe if you tickle it : it may laugh and pay good :) .

    It's just that.

When you have random games, whatever happened before has no bearing on what will happen next. Thus a game that in the past has been "hot" or "cold" is just as likely to give a given result on the next spin as always. Things like the temp meter and jackpot trackers are really an expansion of the entertainment aspect, they are useful in that they may help calculate probabilities for future events, but cannot predict the event itself. An example being the jackpot trackers, which can be used to calculate the probability that the jackpot will be won at a certain level, or within a certain time period. They will not help when it comes to working out whether you should play the slot now for a greater than usual chance of YOU winning the jackpot.

Where 2 & 5 are not "bollocks" is when we have UK style "pub slots", also known as "fruit machines". These use a compensator mechanism that constantly changes the probability of the outcome of the next spin based on how much or little has been paid out in the previous xxxxx spins. This is designed to keep the running RTP within a given range, and to prevent occasional very large swings in variance that might occur were the game to be random. It ensures the operator has a steady income, rather than peaks and troughs. However, in reality, the attempt to compensate such games has lead to "emptiers" whereby an error in the compensator allows a player to get a runaway 100%+ RTP by playing in a certain manner. This can make the games very "entertaining" indeed;)

In all honesty vinylweatherman I've had more luck by trusting my feelings ...sometimes going random on games ... I dunno just sometimes it feels right I can't explain it
and with all the stories of big wins .. I can assure you there are the stories about the losses but i'm positive man ...lol...I'm positive atm lol ...cheers for the feedback
guess someone had to slap me back to reality ;) .
