Concerning Microgaming (32Red tournaments)

Ok first off dont get me wrong i love this casino and ive pointed this out many times. But tonight i had an issue where i could not get into any tournaments at all. I tried everything i could on my end before contacting support. Here is the transcript.

ME:hi laura. im having trouble being able to enter into any of the tournaments :(
ME:i click join. then click ok. but nothing haoppens

ME:no not at all.
ME:i have played alot of the free tounaments before

ME:the tombraider $50 and the black jack one wich starts in around 20 mins

ME:and the $50 tombraider wich starts in 1 hour and 5 mins

ME:no error.. i just click join. wich pops up the box with Ok view and cancel

ME:but nothing happens? usually u get loading then refreshing and you in

Now i just want to ask is this 32RED or MG ?

What will the uproar be if this sort of thing happens during the Grand Slam?

Well it seems it is still down and have found out it is microgaming!!

Just wondering has anyone tried the scheduled tournaments at any other MG casino's?

Also could someone edit the tittle to concerning Microgaming as this is no fault of 32red's :) thanks

Microgaming will do NOTHING. This is a long term issue that has been around for YEARS. I had similar problems, and ALSO this was at 32Red. They investigated, and passed it on to Microgaming, as is evident from this thread, NOTHING came of it then either.

The only difference here was that support personnel experienced the error themselves, whilst it was still ocurring, so could give a better description to MG as to what was failing to happen.

The Grand Slam runs for over a week, and gives an HOUR of play for a mere 9000 coins, and half an hour for 4500. This indicates to me that MGS are well aware there have been such issues, but will not ADMIT it is at THEIR end. They are trying to ensure there is NOT a huge cry of "foul" if these issues affect the Grand Slam, since they rarely last more than a day.

I was unable to get into the warm-up tournaments last Sunday for THREE SOLID HOURS, but I eventually managed to get in for the last one, and came third, winning 3 free rebuys.

MGS really need to run a full DIAGNOSTIC version of the Viper client in similar conditions to players, i.e. NOT IN THEIR LAB, where they will have an unrealistically direct connection to the server. They should be prepared to run this diagnostic at the drop of a hat, when players report the problem. This might best be done from the support offices of the casino, by their own tech staff, who might experience the problem as in this case, but could give MG a full diagnostic of what exactly was failing within the Viper client, or indeed the gaming server. This problem often does NOT prevent connection to the CASINO, just the tournaments, so simply CANNOT be anything to do with the player's end (other than a bug in the Viper client itself).

IF it were an issue of "disable your firewall & anti-virus", then players would ALWAYS be unable to connect to a tournament with these services enabled, and once able to connect after disabling or configuring these products, would ALWAYS be able to connect.

funnily enough i was able to join the Grand Slam warm up that is starting in 2 hours.(fingers crossed when it starts i can play) yet i still cannot enter any of the scheduled tournaments and its been almost 4 hours.

Hi all

I thought it was just me but it seems some can join but not all, I have been having the same issue with all microgaming casinos tournies today. I sent a screen shot of the issue, and they will send to microgaming techs and get back to me. I am glad I am not alone. Thanks for the post:thumbsup:

i have noticed this also. The tournaments are still getting players but no where near as many as they should be.
usually the blackjack ones get full quite quickly, i think the last one i seen last night had 124 players :confused:

I have not tried today as im at work so i will give my verdict later as to whether i can play yet. if not then its been well over 12 hours for the issue :(

oh and btw i could not play the GrandSlam warm up before leaving for work. yet i could register as above :mad::mad::mad::mad:

I tried to get into tombraider today and the free weekend feeder...the box comes up but doesn't load the graphics nor refresh...same thing happened to me with the car giveaways. I couldn't get into none of them and they sent the query to mcg stating they had fixed it but I still couldn't
enter. This happens quite frequently to me. The only ones I don't have trouble getting into is that slow azz Thunder struck. I literally counted how many spins I had in five minutes and it was 26!!
 
oh wow so sorry mattsgame about not being able to play the warm up. well I still can not join any of the free tournies same thing keeps happening :mad:
I hope they get the issues ironed out soon. It is frustrating. lol I even unistalled and reinstalled besides doing everything else humanly possible, It is bewildering to me also why some people can join these tournies:confused: and we can not.

After another restart and losing almost 3 min. of playtime Tombraider played like Thunderstruck s..o..o..o.. s..l..o..o..o..w.....:mad::mad:
Never seen this before with TR.
And yes Gloria460, why casino's still pick Thunderstruck for a tourney is a complete mystery to me, as these are only good if you have sleeping problems.

just to update,

I am home from work now.

and am i peeved, i managed to get into the $250 freeroll so i thought great its all fixed. I went to go into The GrandSlam (which starts in 8 hours time :mad: ) and what do u know it didn't work and neither do the scheduled tournaments. It weird it seems most of the Casino Special ones are working fine apart from the one this morning GSOS Warmup.

MG tournaments problem

I would like to see a reply on this matter from some of the Casino Representatives on this forum.As VWM mentions this problem occurs already a very long time, but nothing has been done to resolve this.(like with all other MG bugs:mad:)
 
I also entered the slot torunments and when i went to open it, there were all gone ? thought i'd get lucky and win a seat, guess not :confused: but still love 32red:thumbsup:

This is the problem though. It doesnt seem to be any fault of 32REDS its MG.

I sent off another email to support and received a reply from 32RED that they have not heard anything back since my first contact from MG.

This is begining to get very frastrating. Especially my GSOS seat.
 
I have the following problem at Ladbrokes. I can not not join any tournaments, I get the following error. So far Ladbrokes support has not been able to help me, but I do not think they involved the tec people yet.
They just told me to clear my browser cache, like that is going to help with
a server error code I get when the download casino tries to talk to the server.


Any help would be appreciated.

I was able to do the one year of free gambling but the one I wanted to enter was the free gambling for 500.00 a month. That one was invite only. If you're ever in a tourney and you see the wheels starting to turn forever, click on games and go to my tourneys and double click on the tourney that you were just in and it'll load right back up and most of the time put you back where you were at or start your five minutes over. I found that out by accident bc I was tired of waiting for the reels to quit turning.

Edited to add I was sent an invite to the $500 a month free gambling for a year. There's only 48 players and 35 prizes with the lowest being 25. I'm sure this will change by tomorrow...hopefully I can win the big one!!

That same thing happened to me at 32Red about 3 months ago. Then it had to do with my deposits being "blocked" for a time. It had somehow also affected the tournaments:what: After a while they got it sorted. As I got it resolved through live chat I cant recall what the exact details were.

Wonder if it could have anything to do with deposit limts if you have set any? Have you tried the support@ladbrokes.com (not care@)? According to the website it would be for technical support.

Finally :) all is well with only 3 mins to the start of the GSOS :) dont know how long it's been fixed as i just logged in.

I hope everyone elses problems get sorted out quickly aswell.

oh dear.

I opened my mouth to soon.

After i played my first round which mind u didn't go smoothly e.g reels kept spinning quite a bit. so my first round had finished and i thought to myself before i make a deposit to buy rebuys i will see what happens. Well after clicking rebuy nothing happens.. the rebuy button stays blacked out and nothing pops up.

So i gave up and went to bed.!

This has become very frustrating. So i will not be making any deposits to make rebuys until this is fixed.

Im at work so i haven't tried again today.

Anyways goodluck to anyone who can play :)
