complaint against forum members

at the monent i am getting a bit peed off with a few members of this site, especially new membrs who suddenly "discover" this site.

first of all i witnessed an exchange here between forum members and a rep from a certain casino in which forum members where threating him with CM, which i find completly wrong because CM is on no one side (no i'm not licking his arse becuase there is alot of things i completly disagree with him), on the said thread forum members seemed to take the attitude "dont mess with me, i'll threaten you with CM"

while on the same subject as that, i was actually an injured party myself in the said discussion but i managed to resolve my situation in private through the rep on here without threatening him and in private.

the other thing which is really annoying me is all these complaints from people using cirrus and its associates, without going into a disussion of it, we all know what they are like.

BUT it seems at the moment, once a week we get somebody popping up complaining about being paid, it will be their FIRST ever post on here to complain about it, yet the thing that does gall me is that if they are so savvy to seek out the meister when they dont get paid,why are they are not so savvy enough to use the seach option on here or use the "not recommeded" list. without doubt they know what cirrus is like through this site, yet they come back here as soon as they are not paid and start crying "they are not on your rogue list" as if its bryans fault.

Whilst I get the gist of your post, Scrollock, this is a big portal with a number of facilities that may take a little getting used to by new arrivals...or it may just be that posting questions is an easier way to get information!

I also often get the feeling that posts are made to get the attention of casinos (or pressure them) by players who are frustrated by slow or no payment, bad customer treatment etc.

Your post is useful in an educational sense imo - it reminds posters that there are a number of ways that this portal can assist us beyond merely providing a platform for having a vent.

Well, there is nothing wrong with CM being a refuge for people who have been cheated, quite the opposite.

CM has the distinction that he can influence casinos he does not do business with himself - most of the time casinos only listen to portals who actually referred the player in question. Bryan is a big exception here.

But - there are people who will click on any spam that shows up in their mail if it has a high bonus and then come running for help.

If you have been here before you know better! DUH!

Pick a portal where the owner makes him/herself available to you and use their links only. If you click on unsolicited mail offers, you are entering the twilight zone!

If you are going to avail yourself of Bryan's services, you should click on his links to go places. Then you have a symbiosis, a taking care of each other by the community. If you click on questionable mails and then come running for help, you are taking advantage of Bryan.

That's how I see it.

Of course, people who are not savvy and don't read the boards yet, there is no shame in coming in from the cold whatsoever. Newbies are always welcome, lord knows there are way too many players who are totally clueless about the industry and they get taken advantage of by unscrupulous operators every hour of the day. There does need to be a safe haven for everyone.

I understand your pain...I wince when I see (1st post) "xyz rtg stole my money". Risky RTGs seem to do the best email promotion spammage.

How about when you read..."if I were at a land-based casino..."???

Some of these new players are directed here and WOL by the board ops on their "home" message boards. That's why they have not casinomeister pre-qualified their deposit options.

I find it amazing how many players NEVER read a casino's TofC.

Ask Bryan about his "pitch a bitch" services...I'm thinking a high precentage of the plantiffs disregarded the bonus rules.

While on the subject...(with a legitimate claim) I bet it doesn't help that they've blasted said casino on every board they can find.

You posted that you work out your own solutions...me too...that comes with experience...something these newbies don't have.

my post is not aimed at those who are inexperienced and have been stung by a casino, for this is exactly the people this board is aimed at i.e. the uneducated and naive who have to take a steep learning curve when they have come across a rogue casino.

but it is aimed at those, who are yes, first time posters, but as the thread develops it becomes quite clear that they have been long time lurkers of this board and KNOW that there has been problems with a casino before but have still gone and played them anyway just because bryan hasn't gave them an outright roguing.

regarding people being quick to post a complaint before trying to resolve it another way, i will admit that i was guilty of that when i first came here and i am sure most of you done the same aswell. but a private message to a rep on here will get your problem sorted out a lot quicker that trying to embarass a casino into action.

a lot of the problems that do occur with casinos come down to the first line of the CS team, which are quite frankly at a lot places are quite useless due to them being on the bottom of the ladder. i know this myself as i have worked in the gaming industry myself and have lost count of the times i have heard someone be given the wrong information. a quick PM to rep on here will get your problem sorted ASAP as by their nature the reps on here know their stuff, so any miscommunication is quickly rectified.

You guys all make excellent points. Dominique, I think your post was dead on the money. For the truly inexperienced who don't know any better, and get ripped off, I feel sorry for them. But for the lurkers who read everyday, they should definitely know better. And as Dominique said, only open accts thru links of webmasters you know and trust. There are far too many shady operators out there who care about nothing but making that quick buck. Last new casino acct I opened was through Gonegambling, and I think that tonight I may open an account with Vegas Splendido and will be using the link here at CM.

I did see it Suzecat, thanks!! I'm not too worried though cause Vegas Splendido is a sister site to Roxy Palace....and I also have a pretty good business relationship with the affiliate manager for both. It is funny, I read so many complaints on here, some of them against casinos that I have played at or do play at....and personally I have never had one single problem, ever. I think I should maybe count my lucky stars? LOL, probably just jinxed myself all to hell with that comment.
