Some of these links/sites have been set up either by a disgruntled ex-employee or competing websites. I wouldn't give them much credence.

Club World has a stellar reputation - they've always been responsive to players issues and needs - they have a proven track record that goes back several years.

And it's a shame that some people abuse their membership by starting threads like these that are nothing more than a meager attempt to damage the casino's business. The OP was asked to produce an acceptable ID. What's the big deal? Why have a baby over it? If you don't have a photo ID, then we need to enter into a discussion. Let's solve the problem. But this guy decides to threaten the casino - threatens to damage their business and make personal attacks, and then he starts this thread.

Read the guy's first group of posts - they are laden with personal attacks. He even flings one at me. :rolleyes:

That's not what this forum is all about. If you have a problem, let's deal with it.

Funny thing - as soon as I tell gambblex that his membership relies on his ability to produce the ID that the casino requested, he changes his tone.

@ the OP - you haven't produced the ID yet. You still have a couple of days to do what you need to do. Answer me this though - what type of government issued ID do you have? Just curious.


Others have some research, and it looks like he might have the "internal passport". This certainly IS a national identity document, it is just that it is not up to modern standards that might be expected from a rich country, such as the US. If THIS is what that country uses as a national identity document, a mere citizen cannot really produce anything better, unless they emigrate to a richer country.

The ONLY way out for such players is to get a passport. Since this is used for international travel, it MUST meet the minimum requirements of EVERY country. Getting a passport, however, is not always that simple. It may be expensive, but more importantly could take WEEKS. Here in the UK, we are told to allow 6 weeks for a passport, and we have to go in person to attend an interview. The cost leaves little change from 100, and there is the cost of travel to one of the regional centres, plus having to take a day off work.

At least the result is a document that should be good enough for casinos, as well as travel, but it does NOT bear the ADDRESS of the holder. There is NO national identity document in the UK, but the photo driving license is often used for this purpose, but you CANNOT get this if you are not allowed to drive. There is no provision (other than lying to the DVLA) to get one purely for proving your ID.

These problems are recent, in the past, casinos were far more flexible, often asking for no documentation at all, and only images and signed deposit receipts if credit cards were used, more to protect them from chargebacks, rather than proof of ID.

In the short term, if requirements get ahead of what is available for many players, there will be a growing discontent, and an impression that the requirements are set so high as to make it near impossible for the "average person" in many countries to meet with what they have at hand. This will lead to more threads of this type on the internet, and this seems to be happening already.

No, you're word's good. And I'm not out to paint Club World in a funky light, and they're probably "fine", it's just that I've seen enough, mostly minor, gripes about em here to just not wanna deal with em. And I wound up here today as a result of checking "new posts" so I'm not agreeing with whatever this thread was about, since, I admit, I don't even know what that is, yet. :oops:
 
I think in such cases the casinos should do some conversation with the player about alternative ways to show his identity, in case the problem is caused by the price of a new ID. It is like some only check withdawal places, like Rushmore was when it opened. We have a bank here that takes cheques without fees, but I guess some players elsewhere could only take a cheque to a place where it would be accepted for high fees. This case is just like that. In such cases casinos should try to agree in some alternative ways, like a confirmation of ID paper signed by an officer at the living place of the player, or something like that... provided the problem is really caused by the expensive new ID.

Anyway if that new ID is expensive for gamblex, then I think he should wait until the prices decrease, in case he cannot agree with ClubWorld. It is better. Keep your money and wait, don't waste it... Same thing happened to me: I got a no deposit welcome free chip - I won - I was told: cash out only with neteller (my country was excluded from neteller) - a half a year later my country became neteller eligible - I went back to the casino and cashed out :)) maybe they were angry:)).

What I agree about is that I am not sure at all that beyond that casinos request these IDs, they actually know how these are used. They just have a sample, and if something doesn't fit, it is considered garbage. No problem if they can find where the name and address is. I doubt they actually know accoarding to what strandards these documents are issued. Just imagine they are given a Chinese document :)

The usual procedure for this scenario as far as I am aware is that any documents must be in Roman script, so Arabic and chinese symbols etc will not be accepted. An international passport would be the exception as its a globally recognised document which is the benchmark document for proof of age and country you are playing from.

I have no problem with obtaining this document.I just didn't exactly know when exactly I will going to get it.I donated particularly to CWC enough to afford a short vacation.

I have no problem at all with anything here including payment.They know that I don't have "ANOTHER" document right now.

Sooner or later they will have one anyway.

But RIGHT NOW(more than two weeks) they have PRETTY LEGIT DOCUMENT there

It's not a bonus or payment issue at all.

I'm just not happy with their definitions.They say my government issued ID is in...

They also say that my phone number is in...

I will post here screenshots of my email to CWC and my faxback form with my phone number if some members wish. They could PM me their phones and I'll call them to show my number on the display.

If someone thinks I'm an idiot or somebody else I won't say you're wrong.


Another question but it's maybe a topic for another thread.

If a casino ACCEPTS deposits,accepts bets, without asking for docs-even with bonus-if wagering is met-player must have been paid no matter how much he won.

Even if a player entered fake data he should receive his winnings via the same method.Why take his money then?

In case if verification is required:

If player founds his country in drop-down list it should mean that funds move in both directions and casino accepts documents from all these countries.

Why should Chinese player have problems with this? Discrimination? Humilation? Casino likes his money but not his country with its president, government,culture,history?

Where at casino website is stated that player must submit document OTHER than is obligatory in his country?

Some time ago one notorious pokerroom requested from players from non-English speaking countries utility bills in English.

Even if it doesn't hurt anybody's pride-there is a million other reasons to be REALLY unable to get ANOTHER document or get it fast.What if a person is ill,single, in hospital,cannot leave home,has skin problems,had surgery,was robbed,lost everything to the last cent,was really counting on these money-these are everyday stories.

I just think that casino must respect and accept legit documents of my country as well as my deposits.

If they know that they will need a special kind of document they should block deposit option then untill player agrees or doesn't agree to submit required document.

1. Don't have your picture on the ID
2. Don't list your address on your ID
3. Don't have laminated ID's.
4. Have some information written, and not typed, on the ID.


I could go on and on about these differences, but I won't. The moral of this story is that these differences in ID's would cause almost any online casino to not honor that particular ID.

@gambblex - since you've decided to use this forum to "trash" the casino and its employees (like you threatened), we're going to solve this problem.

You have 72 hours to provide a government issued ID to Club World. If you don't comply, your forum account will be closed.

I will back up a player until the cows come home when it comes to being treated unfairly or getting screwed over by a casino. I will also ensure that when a problem is initiated by a member, we'll do our whatever we can to resolve it. So let's solve this problem now.


I'm hoping in 2 more days this thread will end.

First off this is getting a little annoying. If you cannot afford the photo id then say that just give Club World what they want so this thread could be put to rest. Either you are from the Ukraine or UA can mean under-aged. And I hope its not the latter because from how you have been posting sounds a little immature to me.

We can go on and on about Club World should accept your documents so what happened? Nothing, Nothing happened. So what are you going to do now are you going to keep posting about Club World should do this and that. What if Club World won't bend then what? Club World already posted about what you need to do. Did you do it already?
 
I wonder if it's possible for a player to have opened an account at same casino under another name before and then later opened a second account? Now such a player cannot withdraw without providing proper ID which player cannot, since his ID will match his 1st account, he would need a FAKE ID. I wonder if anything like this could ever happen? Hmmmmm :cool:
 
Well, believe it or not I'm with the casino on this one. I don't even like CW and all these docs RTG casinos make you send are a pain but I'm sure there's a better way to sort out an ID problem than to rant about it in a forum for 7 days. 1 day maybe. Not 7.

Just call the casino. Or if that's too expensive wait till the office is open and pm the casino and have them call you. If it was me I'd have called them the first day. I prefer that. At least on the phone they can hear the sarcasm in my voice.

If your phone number is good and you still haven't called or had them call you something is fishy. If anyone had 300 bucks of mine, casino or not I'd bloody well call them up and ask for it.

I understand that not everyone has a passport / drivers license etc and we are more than happy to work with our players to find a middle ground that meets both our obligation to 'Know Your Customers' and the documents and ID that people actually posess.

This process is made very difficult however when we are unable to discuss it over the phone.

Gambblex, please either phone my cashier team or provide me with a valid phone number that we can call you on and I am sure we can have this sorted out in no time.

hello tom ( clubworldcasinos) this has nothing to do with op post .but as your about , a question for you , do you not think its time you updated your site to where cashier is not available on weekends , the processing times you state normally within 48 hrs , well weekends are not included in this time frame , it should maybe put like 24-72 hours monday - friday or along those lines , also could you shed any light on the random jackpots payouts as ive seen them on a few games getting larger & larger ,i have looked on the forum many times over the months regarding these random jackpots , does it realy have any difference on wether you play@ 20p or 20 pounds or whatever currency you play in ? many thx mr jones

I think CWC handles all withdrawals quite timely. At least that is my experience. However Tom, I am afraid you will have to tlak to your promotions team and ask them to stop sending out promos direct to players by their names and username when in fact the promos dont work. It's very irritating especially when live chat states that promos are subject to status. WTF? The email was addressed to me personally and after several exchanges with live chat and emails I have still not gotten any apology although it is clear you guys have goofed up.

As long as you stop making these silly mistakes CWC casinos are still good to play at.
 
Hi Chuchu, we did send out some errant emails a short while ago. My promotions team are very good but are somewhat overworked and so the occasional mistake does creep in despite our best efforts.

I checked and they did contact you again by email and by a player message in the casino regarding this earlier this month (I have PMd you a copy) however for the record I do apologise for the mistake and the inconvenience caused.

I was in no way going to take anybody's time,efforts or attention to take care of this.

I had enough attempts to get an explanation from CS and asked them to be more specific with their requirements.

I think I'm pretty well informed what I need to travel abroad.But nobody asked me for this upfront to enable deposits.

I still just couldn't imagine that they DON'T TAKE MY PASSPORT SERIOUSLY.
