ClubGold... the good the bad and the ugly

I'm always leary of joining any casino not CM accredited. But Club Gold has a pretty active rep, and many happy customers. So I joined long ago with a free signup.

No cashout, but I always ask lots of questions. The pending period is long. But I know from reading threads here that most people will not end up in 96 business hours pending. It is better to quote longer and see people happy than to fail in promised timeframes.

Club Gold send me an offer I couldn't refuse, with a removeable bonus with no wagering. I took it, crashed and burned.

Ask support a bunch of questions, very good service.

Played a couple of free chips. Checked on the second one I was still eligible even though I hadn't deposited in past week Yes I was.

Last night I wanted to play Playtech. After great luck that gave me some budget, I'd flopped at all my usual casinos.

I've been a member at Bet365 and never been disappointed with them. But wonky things were happening with the casino crashing and disabling my computer from all internet access. Perhaps I should have given them a chance to fix it but it's 10:39 at night and I don't really want to right techical issues, there's a bevy with my name on it.

Club Gold has a max cashout of 10x deposit on your first deposit. That's not very attractive, was a big factor in me making my first deposit.

But I did, and there are no restrictions in terms of $$ for your second deposit.

I'm a careful consumer, and the online support was excellent. I don't like that they don't email you transcripts on a menu choice, but I don't like that that much with 32Red either.

In the absence of Bet365 and wanting to play Playtech games, I took a 100% match on $25. Lots of game restrictions for 30X D+B, But chat provided me with an excellent link outlining stuff. And a lot of the games were not restricted per se, but the Premium Slots would up your WR to 65X D Plus B, You could play a wide variety of table games at reduced wagering contributions. The link made it very easy and clear hWow to follow the rules, and chat supplied it.

Played for a couple of hours (my main goal with a $25 deposit usually), and had to hit the sack with a lot of wagering left. Got up today and started back, and had a decent hit on Penguin Fortune. Was crashing and burning on one of my favourties, Vacation Station, and was thinking I was done and upped the bet and hit $400. Checked remaining wagering, around $800.

Well, there is no automated way to check your remaining wagering. I do like that with most MGS casinos. So I'm back to chat when there's around $400 left.

Well, I've played a lot of slots, and I have some idea of where I am usually. So back to chat since that's the only way to check wagering. Arturo happily informs me that it's less than $100 now.

Well, this is where they get me. Arturo interupts my play with a chat window, to tell me where I am! He's rooting for me to cashout. He pops ups from time to time with an update on what's remaining.

And he gives me good info on what verification will want, so I don't need to wait for their email.

By the time I have finished WR, Eva is on, and she's lovely too. Volunteered a promo code for $5 for another day later this week, helped walk me through the cashout proceduce. New cashier apparently, so the $25 bonus I got was not cashable, so whether I requested a withdraw for the full amount or leave $25 in my account for it was trial and error. But none of it took long.

I have been very impressed with the quality of support at GlubGold. It was explained and confirmed that if I made a withdrawal and the bonus was removed, that I could reverse and play whatever I pleased. And that didn't require the verification procedure or the pending ended. I havent played yet, but I did reverse some to play the Marvel Slots and others condiered Premium Slots.

If a fash cashout is not important to you, I'm quite favourable impressed.

Very lengthy pending period, but you are free to take other promos while it is pending

I'm rather hoping I can follow up with faster than promised, but even if I can't. I would revisit here.

I'd revisit more often if it was faster.

That the casino team seemed keen on me cashing out and making the most of my experience really does count. If you are good to me, I will be loyal losing.

If you pay me faster, you are on my first line of deposits though.

Thanks for going to great lengths to show us what great customer service they have. I am impressed too and I concur with you that if w/d times are ofless significance than good service this casino is great. The pending period for this industry is getting longer so maybe its time we looked for quality service instead.
 
Hey Jazzy! grats on yer winnings, and like i have said before, i agree with you on the coolness of this particular casino.
I believe the pending period will shorten a lot , once you made your first withdrawal.
Also they are offering a 400 match on reverse withdrawal, which i think is fun, if you are interested in such things:)
It's for instance possible to do that on a free chip, like the Gold Rush, when you completed wagering, and have max cash out of 50, as soon as its pending or waiting you can use that bonus and go for a bigger cashout..
I very much like that.
I like support also, very friendly, helpfull and quick in my experience so far :thumbsup:

As I said in the previous club gold thread, they have the best support on the net. If I hadnt given up online gambling they would be my place to play.

I've spoken with a few players re. this. 96 business hours means 96 business hours, not 4 business days. So you need to know not only the number of hours that their accounts department work on any given day, but also the days they work before you can work out exactly how long your withdrawal is going to take. They don't list this information on their site, but do seem to work a fairly consistent 8 hours/day, 5 days/week - so withdrawals should take approximately 12 business days. Honestly i think they'd get far less players complaining about late withdrawals if they listed 12 business days, but i suspect that would put a lot of players off.....

Nifty, You'd better get used to it as its becoming the norm and while this definitely means they hope you reverse and lose the lot/they are tight on cash, this is here to stay. Its likely there will be very few casinos with a 24-hour or less pending period in a year's time.

On the players' side, maybe its time we tried to exercise some patience while waiting for our money.

I found that support did a pretty good job of explaining the rules to me, and provided me the following link:

All Jackpot Games were excluded from the daily match I took, and playing any of the Premium Slots would raise the wagering to 65X from 30X.

I dealt with about 3 reps over the two days I was playing, and all seemed genuinely interested in seeing I understood everything, and were patient while I read rules.

When I asked about playing other games after completing wagering, I was advised to cashout, and the bonus would be removed. I was then able to reverse, and submit a new withdrawal, giving myself a little to play with that had no restrictions and let me play some of my other favourites.

They gave me the info I would receive today for verification procedure in chat, so I could get a jump on what they needed. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner, so I need to go out and scan a recent utility bill today. I was told 48 hours for verification, I'm sure hoping that is not 48 business hours.

You went on shopping sprees eh??, next time you win some, get yourself a decent android phone, most of em are easy to use, and come with a perfectly fine camera, a usb cable and with it, you can create perfectly fine scans, and upload them to your pc.
If you dont like them phones, a digital camera with usb is a great alternative:)
 
No problemo, just saying, my cashout there, and every casino in the past have been satisfied with pictures of:)
If the camera is of decent quality, theres very little, if any difference with a scan.

I say the same as Incrediblestuff....I have never sent a scanned copy to any casino ever.
I have always used my camera, or a screenshot of a bill or my Netelleraccount. I have never been told that any document wasn't good enough, so to me, I'm sad to say it sounds like more stalling than their paymentstime.

Now don't you reverse it all no matter what offer they give you. We need to find out the exact time of payment for you:rolleyes::D

Just download CamScanner from android market!!! You can scan direct from your phone. It converts it so it looks like a perfect scan. Doesnt matter how and which angle you take pictures. Just make sure the whole paper is within range.
It is total awesome. I used it other day on my new Samsung S3. And my documents were accepted straight away at the Casino verification :) Not at Club Gold though :cool:

Forgot best part. You can transfer the document or documents instant through bluetooth, Email, wireless or with wire to computer or what ever. Direct to printer if u have that as well and want that !! It is pure brilliance :D

Why did you not just contact them and tell them to remove the emails. Dino has already or actually their Rep here has said that. If any problems contact them. Seems bit odd you close your account just because of that??
Jasminebed did not say Club Gold would not accept documents. But she would rather wait and do proper scan instead of pictures. So do not understand your wording "Stalling" :rolleyes:

Sometimes I like a casino and their way of doing business, and sometimes I'm not. With this casino I didn't like what I saw or read, but that doesn't mean that they are bad for you or anyone else. Just a personal feeling.

Any casino waiting that long to pay their customers is from my point of view stalling payouts, so that's why I wrote that. If you think it's fine that's okey, but I don't;)

Well, I finally got myself out and about yesterday and got my documents scanned.

Although support had told me I'd get a request for verification documents, I never did get an email requesting them. But I had all the info I needed, so I go to send my email.

Realizing that I wanted my account number to add to my email, I log into the casino. When you log into Club Gold there is a pop=up window with the day's promotions. The Thursday Madness promotion was showing, but I did think it was no longer Thursday. So I log into chat to ask about if it was Frieday now, lol.

I hadn't noticed there is a nice little clock showing casino time. It was in fact 7 minutes after midnight. But Pendrag told me that they could honour the code anyway, and if the software denied it, he would add it manually, which he did after my deposit. It is a very good bonus, I played for a very long time, was even up a few bucks and in a position to withdraw when Rome and Glory decided I should be thrown to the lions.

Checking my email today, I find three emails from ClubGold. One is an automated message acknowleding receipt of my docs, and the other two both have the same subject line, message from ClubGold, and at first I think they are duplicate messages.

Read the first one, welcomes me and tells me my docs are approved and my account is verified. :thumbsup: Far less time than the 48 hours I was told it takes.

Well, I open the second email, expecting the same mail and to my great surprise, my withdrawal has been processed back to my card! Opened the casino and it's no longer showing as pending. :D

I'm quite aware that stated timeframe is 96 business hours, and support did tell me they try to get payments out in less time when possible, so I won't count on future withdrawals being that speedy, but it sure does make me much more inclined to play again.

I will update when I receive payment back to my card, but I believe that's a factor mostly outside of the casino's control.

For those with tinfoil, it is possible that the casino figured out who I am by the info I've posted in this thread.

I prefer to think they are trying hard to retain a new player. I believe they have succeeded.

Hi all, thanks a lot for the feedback. Our whole team does its utmost to provide players with the best online gaming experience. With regards to withdrawals we acknowledge that the waiting time for withdrawals is longer than we would like and we are actively taking steps to reduce this.
 
Too good to be true?

For those following the thread, I was allowed to take the thursday bonus a few minutes late.

But I got an email today with the weekend cashback offer.

And I logged in, and it was credited to my account.

Now, at this point I havent played, and I expect to lose.

And I'm more than willing to take my licks if it was credited in error should I win and meet wagering. Well, if I win a whole bunch, I might let Maxd decide.

Nice offer too on a deposit today, but not pushy. If I receive my cashout back to my card in the morning, I will definitely try again.

Again, lovely support personnel, and very helpful. It's a very good business decision to make customers feel like a value to your business, not an inconvenience.
