Club Worlds Tournaments

Anyone play the tournies at Club World? I have pretty much reduced my deposits here to a low of about 100.00 a month. It use to be over 100.00 a week. The withdrawal delays are the main reason for the change.

I play what few cents I have left on the penny-roller tourney.

This last 3-4 weeks, I don't think I have hit the feature even once on any of the tournies. In real play, I don't hit them at all like I use to. It makes me wonder if the games haven't been "tweaked" to have them happen less.

One reason I wonder this is, well two actually:

1) A casino NOT related to CWC several months ago was asked about their new "poorer" payouts on a feature in a game. They admitted they "tweaked" the game so the payout would be more balanced in the bet to payout ratio. Hence, a lower bet yealds a lower payout on the feature. So, if you're betting 50c a spin and get the feature, your win was considerably lower than if you were betting say $2.00 a spin. But, it was a drastic difference. Real drastic!

The thing that bothered me about was, nothing was said until players started complaining. Then they admitted it.
It WAS my favorite game at their site.

Anyway, if one casino does it.......... what's to stop other casinos from doing it??? Letting players just think the are on a bad run.

I didn't think they could tweek a game. Why should they? In a tournament there would be no use because they would pay out the same anyway.

I won't give up until I know what casino have said that they had done that to a game. Please tell

I seriously doubt that a casino rep would admit that. In any case its more likely it was a wild guess from the rep. If the 'tweaking' was true the owner of the casino would be privy to this information and I think not even the manager would know lest the info be leaked out causing an outroar from the community. I tend to think it was an ignorant rep who was simply unable to answr tough questions fielded to him/her on the spot. I am certain the casino's official stance will be a flat denial.

It had nothing to do with Club World or any RTG casino, but is a casino that runs on its own software if I understand correct.

I won't reveal what casino or software yet, a little investigation has been started, but I will tell you later.

weesie do know now that an RTG casino can't do that sort of things, but I understand why she thought so.

I placed on a Club World penny tournament today. $1.60 lasted about 30 seconds hahahaha.
I have only placed once in a tournament at another casino.

I won a huge amount at CW a few weeks ago, no I do not want to say how much because I didn't cash out, but since then my real play has been terrible!!!

My question would be if someone hits good, does it take a while to hit again?

I may have to try another casino for a while.

Whether someone hit something big recently has no bearing on your own chances of doing the same......except perhaps for the AWPs.

No it's not, because you didn't know what I ment since I wasn't clear enough.

weesie told me about a specific casino that has its own software. They can obviously tweak their games and still have the same RTP on the game.
An RTG casino can't change a specific game since they are not controlling the software. It has to be done by RTG, and as far as I know there is only the RTP-settings that can be changed.

Am I wrong about that then please tell me.

Maybe, I shouldn't have named this thread after CWC, even though that IS where I was asking if it COULD be done there. I used an example of a casino that DID do it, so I just wondered.

Personally I don't know much about how the back end of casinos work, but I get what Tirilej is saying about tourneys. Because there's no continues in RTG tournaments there's no benefit to a casino tweaking the settings even if they could, because the prize money is going to get paid out to the top however many players no matter what.

Here is the update I promised, and the reason for why weesie asked if Club World had changed anything with their games.
She is in no need of a tin foil hat that's for sure

The casino in question is WinADay.
In march this year players discovered that the payouts from features in the game Pyramid Plunders had changed drasticly.
They couldn't seem to win anything in a game that always had payed good (maybe too good)

The players posted about this in another forum and a moderator from there sent a mail to the casino and asked if anything had changed.
I will not post the reply here or the link, since it would be against the forum rules, but if you want to read it then send me a pm and I can give you the link or tell you where to search.

In the reply the casino admitted that they had changed the payouts. It had obviously payed out too good to lowrollers and not so good to those that were betting higher. It still had the same RTP so nothing was changed there.

WinADay has their own software and can therefor make changes to the games, that others like RTG and MG can not.

People might think that it's not a big deal maybe but what I reacted on was that they didn't tell the players before they change the game.
They were just playing on like they always had.
Not everyone wants to complain either because you will hardly be believed, and proof is needed.
In this case the casino admitted that it had been changes, but if noone had asked, then noone had been told the truth either.

So if I was a member somewhere else than here then I might also have believed that all casinos can do whatever they want.
I have never played at WinADay and I won't either, but I do know that there a few complaints and that they are considered to be trustworthy.

I go through a lot on those tournies without getting a feature too, but have got some good ones when I have.
They seem to trigger less than when I play for real. My guess is because everyone is betting 100 a bet?

I would never have that kind of money to bet in real life to test that theory though,lol

I mostly play only the tourneys at CWC......and its an up and down
as I guess it should be. Have gone through a whole days worth of
tournaments without any significant feature wins.....and also have hit monster
ones back to back. More the non then the monsters ...but I don't think
anything fishy there......cashing out? never have at CWC so nothing to comment there.

I read this last night & agreed that I have played hundreds (over the years) of the tourneys on CW & have always won a few pennies but mostly nothing at all. I always marval at the huge wins those in the winning 5 spots have, wondering how the hell did they get up that high! Well I finally came in first place and won $12.50, that was a first so now I can never say I didn't win!
