Lauren could certainly be much clearer. It looks like slots only, but it only SPECIFICALLY says so with regard to the second $500 chip credited on Monday. This could make it look like the first one is a standard deposit bonus, with the standard exclusions, but that the second free chip is 15x slots only, and is what constitutes the "slots challenge" part of the offer.
Event Rules:
In addition to our standard bonus policy, the following rules apply:
Clubworld 500:
*Deposit and bonus must be wagered thirty-five (35) times before a cashout is permitted and to quality for the second $500 FREE CHIP on Monday
*The wagering requirement must be completed from the original deposit and bonus before 23:59 EST Sunday on 6th April to qualify for a second $500 FREE CHIP
*The second $500 FREE CHIP will be credited before 12:00 EST mid day Monday on 7th April
*The second $500 FREE CHIP must be wagered 15 times before a cashout is permitted and only allows play on slots*The maximum cash out for $500 FREE CHIP is 10 times bonus
Here, "only allows play on slots" is not mentioned as a variation on standard bonus policy until the penultimate term, which discusses the SECOND $500 chip only.
Terms for the first only specify TWO variations from the standard policy, a 35x WR, and a time limit for completion.
Vague inferences gleaned from the main body of the Email (the advertising copy), do not constitute "terms and conditions", as Club World have been at great pains to point out before, when the "confusion" has been the other way around.
Thus,
From these terms,
FIRST offer, a deposit bonus, can be wagered on any game other than standard exclusions, but must be wagered 35x instead of the standard amount. Further, in order to qualify for the second chip, this WR must be completed before the specified time.
If qualified for, this second chip must be wagered 15x, and this must only be done on slot games.
Standard bonus policy also specifies that these are non-cashable bonuses, and thus only winnings can be cashed out. This is an important point to note, as it makes this offer not as good as it might look to those unfamiliar with the non-cashable nature of club world bonuses.
The 10x max cashout is also standard policy for no deposit bonuses, but seems to have been added for clarity (Club World was earlier accused of hiding this 10x rule, so seem to be trying to make it much clearer in such offers now).
EDIT:-
It seems this promo is being discussed in another thread, but the Email posted as an example it DIFFERENT, and in one VERY important respect:-
In THIS one:-
*Deposit and bonus must be wagered thirty-five (35) times before a cashout is permitted and to quality for the second $500 FREE CHIP on Monday
.....but in the other:-
*Deposit and bonus must be wagered thirty-five (35) times on slots before a cashout is permitted and to quality for the second $500 FREE CHIP on Monday
So, to Club World, WTF!!!!!!! - TWO different Email formats, SAME promo, one with a mistake, one correct.
How about, same promo + SAME BLOODY Email = No confusion.
THIS is going to lead to problems!
ASSUME that the "on slots" is the correct rule, and disregard this Email that appears to make slots only applicable to the SECOND coupon.
This "Lauren" needs to be FIRED, as this is the "Lauren" who earlier sent out all those promo Emails with links to completely unrelated and seriously out of date terms and conditions, and why I simply gave up with Club World altogether last summer. (When the Emails stopped, I thought she HAD been fired, or at least "retrained").
